[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the Samsung Frame TV, I also ordered the white frame to match the rest of my decor. This was a nice option over the standard basic black the most every TV has. The frame couldn’t be simpler to attach as it just snaps on with magnates and stays put. If you are like my girlfriend and you like to change things up in the house from time to time, you could order different colors and change them in about 30 seconds when the mood hits. It is a cool option that allows you to control the style and visual appeal of your TV in a way I haven’t seen before. It is simple, clean and looks great.

Samsung recently released the new version of the frame which is no longer made of wood. The new model VG-SCFN55LP/ZA is now plastic and the old model VG-SCFM55LW/ZA was wood. Samsung has removed the word wood from the description but not changed the price. You are now paying $180 to put 4 pieces of plastic around your expensive TV. This is supposed to display art work and you can now frame it with plastic. Very disappointed. I would have loved the wood frame and happily paid the premium, instead I paid a premium price for plastic, the new frame is worth about $45.

It is eye-catching and elevates my TV from the realm of "television" to the realm of "focal point" - and I mean in a good way. My TV looks right at home among the other black and white framed artwork hanging on the same wall. Instead of a gaping black void, I now am able to enjoy a variety of pictures, which I can change on a whim, in accordance with my mood. I can even change the matte of each piece of art. The magnetism is a great feature, and makes installation a breeze. It comes in four pieces that just stick on. I think it would be neat if it came in one piece, eliminating the seams at the corners. The bottom piece of the bezel was a bit warped right out of the box, but it went on anyway and looks ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frame TV is amazing, and adding a Customizable Bezel can make it even more so. I received a white bezel, which didn't really look the best with our decor, so I spray painted the bezel dark brown...a color that was more acceptable. The bezel was easy to install, even after the TV was on the wall, and it does give the TV an overall better look. The reason for 4-stars and not 5-stars is that I feel the bezel needs to be a little wider (or thicker), so that when viewed from the front, the TV looks more like an actual picture frame.

wow, how disappointing. we ordered the frame tv and separately the wooden frame to go with it. i expected to get a nice wooden frame for the tv because that’s the whole point of this thing, right? what we received, however, is the cheapest looking plastic bezel. instead of being excited about having a great piece of furniture which is also a top notch tv, im now waiting to have a tv on my wall that will have ridiculous cheap looking fake wood stuck to it. what a let down. unless i’m somehow able to use a real wood version, i doubt i will keep it. for what it’s worth, id be willing to pay a premium for it, as i am sure, pretty much everyone buying the frame would. of course, that doesn’t produce the same revenue margins, but at least your customers aren’t being let down like this.

I love the way that the bezel makes my TV look so custom and Unique. I love the fact that you can easily snap the bezel on and off depending on what you want your TV to look like. Its perfect for all different home decor styles because there are different color bezels to fit your rooms color pallet. I highly reccomend this product for anyone who wants to change up the standard look of there TV.

The customizable bezel personalizes the tv to the look and feel of the room. the bezel snaps into the tv easily using magnets to attach to the tv. There are also plastic inserts to complete the connections so that children cannot easily take the bezel off the tv. This has throughly been tested by my 2 year old with success to the engineers that came up with the design.

To my surprise, this bezel frame was easy as heck to install. It has some type of magnets that pop right onto original frame. No tools just snaps on. It looks great on my white walls. I got the white bezel frame. I thought the color would be way off but it's a warm neutral white. If you have Frame TV, I highly recommend.

It actually has a customizable bezel, a mat, and a display of pictures spanning a range of art types. Vibrant colors of your choice appear on the screen when the TV is turned off. I must admit that on the first day, I found it disconcerting and looked for the remote to turn it off. But soon after, I came to appreciate it and don't think I would ever do without it.

Kind of nifty! Plus it looks really unique! I have the white bezel but I have also seen the wood frames in-store. They are real wood! Depending on how I end up renovating my fireplace, I may choose a different bezel later. Or perhaps I will make my own to match my decor...

thoses bezels were fantasicly sturdy and looked the part. now i purchased the 2020 65" model of the frame and the bezels i ordered afterwards are in the mail. so i have not laid eyes on them yet, but the mere fact they went from metal to plastic is a big disappointment. this is mid range tv sold at a premium price because of the design quality. cheapening the design makes buying the frame a non starter.

I finally decided to try it and I'm so glad that I did. The bezel gives the look of a thicker frame and is the final touch to make The Frame truly look like a piece of art. I love that the bezels come in many colors so you can customize to fit your decor.

i was thrilled for this tv and the possibility to add a frame. when i mounted the teak frame it looked really bad. i could live with it but my better half could not so we had to return it. now i searched the internet and no other product could be found. i will have to attempt to create the frame myself. i'm not looking forward to this. thanks for this task, samsung.

Immediately putting it on my television, it raised The Frame to a higher level of sophistication, while elevating Art mode and the illusion it creates. If you are going to use the no-gap wall mount or the easel, I would highly recommend purchasing this to complete your showcase.

With an additional border, you can really select the TV that YOU want to fit the space that your TV will go. With colors to fit any setting, we really got to change our TV to fit the lifestyle of our room. And changing the bezels was so easy, that we always changed the bezels to fit the settings in our room. Too often an item like this is a very convenient idea, but I found myself only making a change once, because it was so cumbersome to make the customization. With the Frame TV mounted on the wall, or on the included feet, changing the bezels on the Frame TV was simple and convenient. I purchased 1 other color as well, and when hosting weekly events at our house, we would change the bezels just to get people talking about the TV. We have had a lot of fun with the customizable bezels on the Frame TV and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering the Frame TV.

such a cheap fake plastic. it is not made of wood. why would i hang a plastic piece of ugly frame up on my wall? the whole point of buying this is for the frame. i am returning this tv and the frame. hope your decision to switch to plastic pays this back!

The frame is a cheap plastic frame. I was expecting real wood, or at least something more convincing as a high quality frame. What is the point of purchasing this tv if the frame is such low quality? I would pay more for better quality options.

I rarely give product feedback online but the frame and the customizable finish are simply fantastic. The frame looks like genuine wood and can be switched within a couple of minutes. Definitely worth the extra cost!

the concept of a tv as an object of art falls down when the only thing you provide for the frame is cheap plastic. my first samsung tv and likly my last. the only decent frame was the walnut on and now they don't see it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With Samsung's introduction of the Frame TV, the TV is finally beginning to move into the future. For years, I envisioned a TV that seamlessly blended into my home's surroundings and didn't look like a TV and a bunch of wires. Samsung delivered on this dream with the Frame TV. The Frame TV comes with a grayish black frame, which is color-neutral for most homes, but it doesn't really distinguish the TV from being a TV. That is where the customizable bezels come into play. Samung offers a variety of bezel colors to help coordinate its Frame TV with your home's decor. When combined with the TVs artwork mode, which allows to choose your picture and then customize the surrounding matte size and color, the TV truly looks like a piece of artwork when not in use. The extra bezels come in white, a Cherry color and a natural wood color. They are made of sturdy metal, and they attach to the TV using screws at pre-designed places. My only complaint is that you have to attach the bezels with screws. The bezel replacement process does not make for an easy swap, and I found that I had to take the TV off the wall in order to swap them fully. This becomes a pain with a 55 inch or 65 inch TV, so I suggest deciding on your bezel color before hanging the TV. I also wish that Samsung offered more color options for its bezels. Ultimately, I applaud Samsung for offering different bezel color choices to better suit its customer's home decor. The replaceable bezel feature is essential for creating the disguised TV/ wall artwork effect.
