Beautiful fridge, it's not cheap...made poorly, worked well for a few years. Now nothing stays cool. We lost our food. The ice maker not working. Called customer service, we were told it's not under warranty. Very unhappy customer Samsung. Don't buy a Samsung fridge.

this refrigerator is a piece of garbage and that’s putting it nicely. if you enjoy spending hours taking food out and storing it somewhere else, so you can remove the back panel; then get a blow dryer to melt the ice build up off of the fan just so it will run properly…well, then this is fridge for you! we have taken it apart 3 times (or more, i honestly lost count)in the past 3 years that i’ve had it. the ice maker doesn’t work. water builds up and freezes under the deli tray and spills out somewhere, only to leave water underneath it on the floor. i don’t even know if my food is currently the right temperature. do not buy this refrigerator.

The Best design I've ever seen! Well thought of ergonomics and well planned for space. The door layout is incredible! Love the LED lighting and every square is seen without effort. The Mid Drawer is fantastic utilizing well thought space for immediate grab for yogurt and cheese sticks....and my bologna sandwiches...nice easy access. All the utilities feel solid and sense very good quality throughout. Control/information panel is well displayed and ease of using the control. One detail would be nice is an water shutoff valve to change the filter. Well done Samsung! I've put on the top of my list in researching appliances and electronics. Mark

This is the second Samsung fridge I have owned, both have been nothing but problems, and Samsung does nothing to acknowledge any design flaws or take any accountability. The ice maker problems aside (which I’ve had with both models), this current model won’t even keep cool. We have paid out of pocket to have a technician come to the house to tell us there is nothing he can do to fix this model. No error code, no parts malfunctioning, just poor design. The back of the fridge ices up internally and stops circulating cold air. Middle drawer and freezer work like a charm. Second time having to throw out the contents of my fridge however. My 15 year old garage fridge works like a charm, wish company’s had pride in their products and built things to last. I’ll never purchase another Samsung product.

I bought this over a year ago and right away had problems with the ice maker, it kept freezing up. Then at the one year mark the refrigerator quit. Had to wait a week for a repair person and after extensive troubleshooting they found the entire back panel had froze and stopped the cooling motor. After defrosting it and supposedly "fixing" the ice maker we were back in business. Ice maker froze up again 2 weeks later and has done that ever since, sometimes in a week sometimes in two. Now 8 month later we are hearing the same sounds from the motor that we heard before it quit. time to call for repair and to look for a new refrigerator.

This refrigerator is set up perfect for small household of 3. Our kitchen was not made for a normal size . Therefore, we bought the 33 inch wide. It is going to work, well. We do have a wall on the left side and can not open the door wide enough to take out the ice container. We will have to pull out 2 feet in order to do this. But, that might only be needed on rare occasions. We will just find a good container to store some extra ice for the big parties. And the refrigerator rolls and moves very easily. We had to line up right door with left door. Followed the instructions and lined the door up properly. We are very happy with this choice.

It's so great having that extra drawer between the main refrigerator compartment and the freezer. Our eggs, cheese, tortillas go in there... other flat things as well as cheese, cat food. It nice to not have to open the main refrigerator doors for that. We like how bright it is inside, and how easy it is to organize contents in the freezer section. We love that extra top drawer in the freezer too. This fridge has lots of great features & it has worked like a charm! We haven't been bothered by the effort needed to clean the stainless steel. Finger prints do show, but when it bothers us or we are having company, we clean it. Not a big deal.

This is without doubt the nicest refrigerator I have ever had or used. Plenty of room for a family of 3 and fit in a tight space of 35" comfortably with no problems opening the doors. Love the pull out drawer with its own separate temperature controls. Freezer had more than enough space with a solid bottom to catch accidental leaks. Very quiet and took only a few hours to come to temperature after installing. Crushed or cubed ice, cold water dispenser, whats not to like about this fridge. This fridge is just gorgeous also, looks great with my other stainless steel Samsung appliance and my black pearl granite, really made our kitchen pop!

We’ve had this fridge for approximately 2 years and one day the ice maker just stopped making ice. We’ve done all the trouble shooting and even did the factory reset that Samsung itself says should only be used as a last resort. No one in our area will fix Samsungs so we took a gamble with it. The ice maker works perfectly if it has ice in it. We’ve been filling it with bagged ice multiple times a day and it works great. It just won’t make any ice. I’ve tried googling but can only find “ice masters” and not “ice max’s” so they are of no use. Samsung is a huge disappointment in their products and their ability to have someone come out and repair it.

Having a small built-in space to fill, I like being able to have a 4 door refrigerator with water and ice in the door. It is brightly lit with LEDs and good use of space in most cases. Some of the door shelves on the ice maker side are odd shaped and hard to use, but that is due to the ice maker. I also miss having a built in butter storage area. My only real disappointment is the door alarm. I thought it didn't work. It turns out it emits such a quiet chirp that is basically worthless. If you are close enough to hear it, you would also be close enough to notice the door is open. In addition, it only chirps intermittently, not a continuous alarm.

I bough the 4 door Samsung from the Brick less than a year ago and I have had nothing but problems. Within the first couple weeks we noticed that the ice was always coming out crushed even when cube was selected. We were to live with this but then we noticed water pooling in the dispenser area so I called for service. The technician advised that this was typical of Samsung fridges and ordered a new ice maker. Three weeks later the ice maker arrived and I was told to install it. Well the new part did nothing to fix the issue and so I contacted the Brick again who said that it was a Samsung issue. The water issue was not too bad in the colder months but since the warmer weather, the fridge leaves a puddle on the floor every morning. I called Samsung and was essentially given lip service. They have scheduled another technician but I am frustrated beyond belief. I have to take the day off to facilitate the repair which wouldn't be so bad but this fridge is less than a year old. It is clearly defective and I am concerned what recourse I'll have once that warranty period expires. Samsung I've believed in your products and have several tv's and cell phones. I always thought you were a reputable company but my faith is shaken. Do the right thing and give me another fridge that works as intended. Nick

i bought this fridge one year and one month ago from lowes. the fridge died less than a month after the manufacturers warranty was up. i registered it online and it states the warranty was up october 2018.... two years before i even purchased it! i haven’t even paid the fridge off. i woke up to my fridge temp at 46... and the water will work sporadically. the filter gets frozen in. the deli drawer is a huge waste of space. a $3300 fridge should last longer than 13 months! samsung is absolute garbage. i bought this one to replace my last one which only lasted 3 years... i figured a newer one would be better and lowes convinced me this was top of the line.

i could not give less than one star, if i could i would have. we bought this new two years ago and the ice make has been constant trouble since the first day. go search samsung ice maker and you will see what i mean. it is a crime they can still sell refrigerators. it is too bad because everything else about this is nice. every other month i have to take everything out of the refrigerator and turn it off to get rid of the ice build up. now i have an old refrigerator in the garage to keep our stuff in so i can keep shutting this new one off, totally stupid. first chance i get this one is going and i will buy another brand.

Now, the ice maker has somehow shredded itself in the back and is spitting out sharp pieces of plastic out with our ice. My sister has a samsung and has to remove all produce, defrost it, then start it back up again. Our fridge fan started making a really loud noise as well that will stop when we open the door, then start back up again. This will randomly happen from time to time but is so loud we can hear it on the other side of the house. I would never buy samsung again..

we purchased this fridge in july 2014. we have discovered that the temperature shown on the front of the fridge is off by 15 degrees. food cannot be safely stored at 50 degrees. after doing research we found that the ice maker constantly freezing over, the incorrect temperature reading, and the compressor issues are super common and known about (google it). these issues are not warranty related and are a design defect. we are incredibly disappointed that this is still being sold and that nothing is being done for consumers. people don't expect to spend good money on this fridge for it to only last 5 years. do yourself a favor and research before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the fridge for 5 years and it is in better shape than our last LG fridge. Not happy with the ice machine. Found out from different people and articles that the ice machine has a manufacturer defect. The ice machine stopped making ice. Had to defrost the machine with the hair dryer to remove the chunk of ice. Then it happened again. We had to go on You Tube to find out the problem. If the manufacturer knew there was a problem then it should have been fixed. There are no recalls. The second time we had to turn off the fridge for 12 hours to defrost the ice in the back of the fridge and defrost the ice machine itself.

1st: no explanation of how to use the flip shelf. it looks like it's permanently attached to the other shelf. went to u tube and found a video. 2nd: you have to turn off the water supply to change the filter which they want you to do twice a year. my water supply line in behind the refrigerator on it's own line. i'm 81 years old. how am i supposed to do this? 3rd: the design of the bins on the door with the icemaker is insane. the ice maker design is awful. i had a kenmore elite with the icemaker compactly in the door. we had a power surge that killed that fridge and i had to hurry and buy something. i'm just praying that it works better than it was designed.

Have owned this 4-door French model for 1 year. Overall, it's a nice product - love the French door design and the extra drawer above the freezer is terrific! However, like several of the other reviewers have noted - the icemaker leaves a lot to be desired. I get crushed or broken ice on the regular setting. On crushed, it's a mixture of crushed and broken cubes - not what I would define as truly crushed ice. Had to completely discharge all ice to be able to remove the bucket, only to find a leak in the back - there was a glob of frozen water preventing the screw from turning. Icemaker replaced early February 2015 and I'm still having problems. Such a disappointment

A lot of wasted space, design is very poor. Finish doesn't look clean, even when just done. Shelves don't accommodate larger size containers. Shelf under ice maker in door is almost completely unusable along with the 1' wide storage on the side of each door compartment. Ice maker is extremely slow to dispense ice and water dispenser leaks after use. I've had this refrigerator for 3 days and already wish I had gotten something else. Not the one I originally wanted but had no choice because our refrigerator had gone out and we had nothing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but I am glad we purchased the extra 3 years of warranty after reading other reviews on this unit.

We have had this very expensive refrigerator for 1 year and the Flex Zone drawer stopped working properly after 1 month. It only "chills" it does not freeze at all. That was not such a big deal because we use the drawer for canned sodas, which fit perfectly. The biggest problem is the ICE MAKER. The ice maker has not worked properly at all. It freezes over and jams up. Sometimes it doesn't even make ice at all. In addition, when the ice does work for 1 day after my husband has un-jammed it, the ice is watery and drips of water come out of the dispenser making a puddle on the floor. I'm so disappointed. I'll go back to my other brands of products that I usually purchase!

I did not want to change the kitchen cabinets during our recent remodeling but that meant having to live with 33 inches rather than the 36 I would have loved to have. I wanted four doors. That greatly limited my choices! This appliance is huge, considering the available space. I love the way I can adjust the shelves inside the fridge. The middle deli drawer is great for cheese and cold cuts. The freezer is really big, too. I do not know how it was possible to pack so many features in this appliance but the result is outstanding. Best of all, it also looks stunning with all my other stainless steel appliances.

freezer not working for over a month and samsung only uses certain companies to work on their products and the companies they use suck. we have been waiting to hear back from technician for price on repair for over 2 weeks and samsung wont do anything other than continuously escalate promise to call us back and never do. never will i buy samsung again or recommend. they also recommended i use other service providers and that will cost me more money as i already paid for first company to come out and troubleshoot. samsung is the worst and don't stand behind their products or contractors they hire stay away.

We have had this fridge now for about 6 months. It has performed very well. The finger print resistant exterior does what it promises. The door controls work well. The extra flexible cooling drawer is awesome. We use it for drinks and for staging food to be packed for weekend trips to the cottage. The freezer is not as deep as we would like but otherwise works well. The adjustable shelves are a good feature and we actively use the feature. My only reservation is the ice maker. I have not had a problem with its function. The quality of the ice is not as high as other onboard ice makers I have had on refridgerators. The ice cubes all seem to have a coating of frost on them. We use the ice maker each day. A previous LG fridge with an ice maker on the door did not have this issue. Overall, this fridge has been excellent and I would recommend it.

I'm so glad I finally bought this...had a picture of it hanging in my office for 2 years! It fit perfectly in the limited space designed for the fridge. I've only had it for a couple of weeks but so far it is everything I hoped it would be. I'm still shuffling things around and learning the best ways to organize it for my needs. I really like the 4th door/drawer...so convenient. I occasionally hear the ice drop but its not loud...I don't hear the motor as I've read that some do. i am so disappointed in this product. the cost of this appliance was more than any other appliance i have every purchased. it worked perfectly until the 1 year warranty was up. the ice maker stopped working ( this is a known problem with a class action suit) today ( less then 5 years of ownership), the whole thing stopped working. i have put in for a service call but i am pretty sure i will be dumping samsung and going with another product. lg has a manufacture warranty on their appliance for 7 years. i put up with making my own ice for 3 years, i just want a product that will keep my food cold, my frozen food frozen, and an ice maker that is designed to work properly.

This Refrigerator was new when I bought my house 6 years ago. This is an huge appliance with very little space. The drawers for the freezer do not pull out. Due to lack of room in the freezer, I bought a small freezer to for freezer space. The shelves in the fridge do not move in a way that is productive to storing. After a couple years of ice maker problems. Trying to thaw and reset. I just the shut ice maker off and bought a small ice maker to sit on my counter. Today a loud fan noise started, I pulled it out and clean under it and all the openings. Now the temperature won’t go lower the 50 degrees. For a very pricey appliance, it should last longer then 6 years. Very disappointed

This fridge came with the house. Do not know the actual age but the tag inside says 2016. The whole time we have owned it (2020), it has a never been able to fully function properly. We have attempted to get it repaired and it's never anything more than a band-aid with repairmen shrugging saying "It's a Samsung" and leaving. Ice Machine always drips because no matter what they have done it will not properly seal. The drink drawer has frozen a pop to the point it blew and what we found after that is a 1/2" sheet of ice across the bottom that appears to have accumulated over time and we didnt notice. The main fridge keeps freezing over where it needs to be defrosted to cool properly again.

The fridge is reliable and well designed though there are a couple improvements needed: 1. There is no guidance offered on removing the bottom shelf above the water filter to thoroughly clean the fridge. We brought in a technician who told us we needed a special tool which was not included in the fridge purchase. Since it was under warranty, there was no cost but Samsung should put the procedure in the user's manual, a demonstration video online, and provide the tool. 2. The ice maker provides poorly shaped/broken ice cubes. The technician told us it was a design flaw and could not be fixed.

After being forced into buying a new fridge, we knew we wanted to stick with a French Door model - it seemed to work best for our family. Upon seeing the chilled drawer option, in a size that would fit our small kitchen -we went for it and I can positively say it was a GREAT purchase. Not only do I have a retractable shelf in my fridge to better hold my wine bottles but the chilled drawer is a bonus so the kiddos are not constantly in the fridge for drinks!! I've only had this fridge a week but really am enjoying it. The flex drawer is great - so nice to have a full width space in case of need & a great place to store items used often. Only thing I haven't liked about it is the ice maker - it's very noisy & slow to drop out the ice. But unlike other french door type made by other manufacturers, the ice maker is inside the fridge, not on the door which might be the reason for the delay. Sort of a good-bad idea; good since it keeps the weight off the door but bad since it takes up space inside. Samsung has provided a fold-up shelf to help with this & it does. I would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone looking for a french door refrigerator.

This refrigerator was not my first choice. I originally purchased the Samsung 4 door refrigerator which I absolutely loved.. The problem was when they delivered it the refrigerator fit in the space provided but the left side doors would not open all the way as I have a wall on the left side. Sadly it went back. I then purchased this one because it was not as wide. It is a very nice product and works well with the space I have. I love the interior lighting and I like the refrigerator drawer more then I thought I would. I would defiantly recommend this product, however I wish you would offer the 4 door fridge in a narrower width as my husband found my request to knock out the wall unreasonable.

I bought this fridge a few weeks ago. When it came it was dented on the side. Which is fine because it’s covered. But it also has a part in the fridge that is rising and corroded. This kitchen appliance seems to be a bit intuitive in its design and features. When I open it up, I can see everything inside, reach everything inside and store huge quantities of products. The storage drawer is just plain terrific in design and use. I would suggest that sometime in the future there will be two storage drawers, and not one. The freezer drawer is well thought out by the designers with a storage lip on the drawer front, and great ease in organizing what I have to store. the specifications of this say it is 24 cubic feet, but I think it acts like it is 30 cubic feet in that it is so easy to use. I am quite pleased with my purchase and encourage others to look closely at this refrigerator.

this refrigerator has been a complete nightmare and samsung has stood behind it in no way despite class action lawsuits and thousands of customer complaints. the ice maker started freezing up within the first year of ownership such that we had to fully defrost it or blow it out with a blow dryer ever 3-6 months. this reached the point that we had to do this every month. after 3 years the entire back plane of the refrigerator would have ice such that the fan would make a motorboat noise as it clicked along the ice. this required complete dissassembly and thawing every 3-6 months. this is now something we do every 30 days maximum and, to prolong this, we are forced to run the refrigerator defrost daily.

We shopped for close to a year before deciding on this model. I compared all the brands and found this 4 door refrigerator to compare favorably to all the other offerings. Now that we have had this in the house for about a week, our first impressions are: 1. LED lighting is incredible - so easy to see all over the refrigerator 2. Ice maker takes up very little room - one of the best space-saving designs I have seen. 3. Super quiet operation. I can't really hear it turn on or off 4. Freezer is very well thought out - the little shelf on the door is brilliant 5. The middle drawer (why we wanted this model) is super -- we use it for deli items, butter, etc. We love it - I highly recommend this refrigerator

We purchased this refrigerator about two weeks ago and we love it. The design is so well thought out to provide maximize storage space and the ability to customize the shelves. The dual level freezer provides ample space and easy access to all your frozen goods. The separate cooler compartment is so nice and convenient to get a quick desert or snack. The door storage will hold milk with no problem. Water and ice dispenser make it so convenient to have a cool drink. This refrigerator runs super quiet except when the ice maker is making ice. The room I have in this smaller version of a standard frig. is amazing. It replaced one of the same size and I can not believe the space I was missing with the other one. Everything about is so great, interior lights are bright and the on the door display is so easy to read. Taller glasses fit under the water and ice with no problem. and the middle draw is wonderful, it can be used to house the things you use a lot so you don't have to open the whole top and let out your chilled air. I have never owned a frig that is as quiet as this one. Thanks Samsung for a great job.

DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR! please save your money and your aggravation. this refrigerator is an absolute nightmare. there is a huge problem with the ice maker. it builds up then makes a horrible sound then eventually breaks the fan by blocking it from spinning. there is a class action lawsuit on this issue. you have to empty all of your contents and unplig it to defrost it. i did this again but this time the fan didnt turn back on. so the temperature would not go below 52 degrees. spoiling all the food. i called and was told an exemption would be made to resolve the issue again. the technician came and was looking for about $400!!! for what? so it would happen again in 4 months? I declined. Stay away!

just after a year of having the fridge the ice maker started freezing up, we would defrost the ice maker once a month, then it started to need it weekly, then it became an every other day thing. we paid to have it replaced (because we were just out of the one year warranty). the repaired ice maker lasted about a year and now we are back to the defrosting game. it's quite frustrating. i have several friends and family members that also have a version of this samsung refrigerator, they also have the same exact issue. i will say, i do enjoy the refrigerator drawer feature.

I purchased this 4 door french door fridge approx 1.5 years ago and I am so disappointed and bummed about a few things on the fridge. 1. like most the ice maker is jams, leaks and cracked 2. the fridge itself looks dirty all the time even it you clean it 3. the bottom freezer is good size but things get buried and you forget what the heck is in there 3. our filter light stays on even when we change the filter. This refrigerator is a dream. It works very well. Love the Chill drawer where you can select the coldness you desire for what you put in it. The feature on the freezer to drop the temperature to up to -8 degrees is fabulous. Love this to quick freeze items that start to thaw on the way for the store. Ice and water works well also. Storage space is plenty big and I love all the lights in side. This refrigerator runs quiet and I can hardley hear it when running. Samsung did a great job on the design and working components on this. Have recommended it to all my friends.

In addition to the excellent performance I must say the VERSATILITY is what has impressed us the most. The FLEX drawer and ability to control its temperature has been a wonderful feature that I would never want to do without. Hubby & Grandkids love the external water & crushed/cubed ice option as well. Never thought of an appliance as really being "beautiful" before, but the black stainless steel has changed that - really hides those little fingerprints between wipe downs. Only possible "con" was price & time it took for water filtration to lose slight "chem" taste.

We love this product but the ice maker is junk. We really wanted a good ice maker as we use a lot of ice. This one takes for ever for ice to come through and even though we have it set to full cubes it comes out crushed. Changing our water filter is a pain. We took the filter out to make sure we are replacing it with the correct filter and reinstalled thinking it might leak without it. When I woke up the next morning there was water all over the floor. I took out the filter and still we have water leaking all over. Very frustrating. This refrigerator is huge and holds a lot. I call it 'the spaceship'. We love the deli drawer and extra drawer in the freezer. If it wasn't for the ice and filter problem we would have a winner.

0 stars, but it forces you to at least give one star. HORRIBLE product. One week of receiving the fridge the compressor went out while we were on vacation. We came home to a mess!! Now, not even after having the refrigerator for a year the compressor has gone out AGAIN resulting in yet again another fridge and freezer full of ruined food. I cannot believe you can't engineer a compressor that actually WORKS. It's under warranty for two more weeks but 6 months down the road we are, I'm sure, going to face the same problem. This refrigerator is exactly what my wife needed.Her exact words were," it's perfect". The french doors allow for in and out access with ease.The drawer in the middle saves us on energy consumption because when my kids need a snack they don't have to open the entire unit. The way it's set up inside allows for easy organization of all products such as eggs, large gallon sized juggs,and condiments. The reason why I didn't put 5 stars is because when receiving water out of the dispenser,the water slowly drips after done.we'll have to have that serviced.

Found out after I purchased the unit that the shelves are not very adjustable. Top fold up shelf is wasted because lower shelf has to be used for taller items like milk which forces you to fold up the shelf . Can't adjust shelf on one side without adjusting the corresponding shelf on other side for stabilization purposes. Crushed ice feature only crushes a small portion of the ice. For instance, if you were dispense 10 ice cubes only 1 cube would be crushed....the other 9 would be whole. Tried a whole bowel full of ice and got the same results.

Nice design, needed a larger refrigerator in a tight space. This does project ~ 6 " from a normal counter depth. It is quiet and energy efficient. The entire kitchen is SAMSUNG Appliances in a set. As we got hem on sale, there were a good value overall, but there was a premium to buy SAMSUNG instead of others. On the personal side, I'm not thrilled with this is in a corner location, because the access to the internal ice maker is restricted. The door must swing open 120 degrees, so I have to pull the frig out from it's location. The stainless steel is thinner on this than I expected and it does press in, and can be dented easily, so a recommended improvement would be a molded rigid foam backing adhering to keep the "skin" from moving.a all.

This wasn't the refrigerator I chose but it is the one I got. I wanted one that wasn't a Samsung. Just a few days over a year old and won't stay cold. Showing 54 degrees, food spoiling, can't even keep milk and they are telling me parts can take 2 weeks. Adjustable shelves? NOT. you can push back half of one shelf which eliminates half a shelf of storage. Ice maker is terrible. Very slow and noisy. Still use my portable ice maker instead. Freezer doesn't open far enough to get things from the back and freezer drawer opens even less. Terrible waste of interior space. A one star rating is too high for this piece of garbage. Cost over $2000 and wasn't worth $200. Can't wait until I can get rid of it and buy a good brand refrigerator.

ice maker froze up about a year after we had it. advice for fixing it was to thaw it out; after a few thaws and refreezes we gave up and quit using it. worse problem is water has started dripping internally and externally. back of fridge has ice. the water leak is in the front right corner and got down into the floor without running out into the kitchen. i did not see the leak for some time and it has rotted the subfloor. looked up the fix and it is fairly complicated. samsung makes repair parts to upgrade. i saw this review section when looking up dimensions for a new fridge, and a screen popped up asking me to call when they saw i was giving a low review. i called, and was advised to disconnect power to thaw for 3 hours or call a repairman.

Wasn't sure which fridge to buy ,but had liked the features a year or so ago. A salesman recently told me Samsung had really improved their refrigerator because they listened to customers praises and complaints. So far everything has worked well. I love the 4 door. It holds much more than our previous fridge, which is very helpful. We use the water and ice machine daily. Very easy! It is well organized and shelves can be adjusted. I do wish the drawers for vegetables and fruit were bigger since we eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies.

this was a great refrig until it wasn't. the freezer died and 2 days later (while waiting 2 weeks for a tech) the fridge died. what a pain. it was 2 weeks for service. he could not fix it. now another week before the next tech can come. what are we supposed to do in meantime? i expect more from samsung. all my other new kitchen appliances - dw, oven combo, cooktop are all samsung. what can i expect from them??? i have 3 samsung smart tvs, a samsung phone and samsung tablet and an auto vacuum. i have been a samsung fan for awhile.

I only have had this refrigerator for a few days and so far everything about it has been great. I did read where there were problems with the ice maker. It makes ice as quick as I need it unless I plan on having a party and then I go out buy bags of ice and keep it the cooler. Some complained about the noise of the ice maker...when ice drops into a plastic ice container it WILL make noise(Hello) however that noise is over in a few seconds. Give me several more months and I will give another review.....having some fun in Kentucky!

there is plenty of room for every thing. i realy love my new refregerator . the sheilfs are adjustable. there is plenty of room in the freezer, the upper sheilf keeps everything aranged and organised. it’s easy to clean and take care of. the finger print resistant exterier was a great ideal. the ice maker is a real disapointment. it is the slowest as far as despencing that i ever owned. the left upper sheilf lacks what i feel is enough suppout. i am fear putting anything like a gallion of milk on it because it seems so flimsy.

Probably the worst refrigerator I've ever owned. Right after warranty ran out, ice maker started continuously freezing over. Eventually had to pay to have it replaced. Known issue with Samsung ice makers - do an internet search (with I would have). Shortly after that, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling. I don't recommend Samsung refrigerators, but if you do buy, you better get the extended warranty. I give it two stars instead of one because I like the design with the middle "flex" drawer. Too bad it doesn't work.

just google the ice maker issue and you'll see. there is even a class action suit about it. ours hasn't worked in months. you can defrost and it may work for a few days, and right back to it. on top of that, the freezer and middle drawers have handles that break easily as they connection is plastic and breaks overtime. we are on the 3rd replacement now, 2 of which are out of pocket. we are moving to a different brand now. in 4 years, we had 2 new fridges, 3 different handles replaced, 2 ice makers, and we still have no ice.

Sturdy handles are unique in their design. The ice maker works great! Interior LED lighting makes use at night so easy. Interior shelving that moves with ease is wonderful. Really like the center storage drawer that allows for four different uses, and alternative temperature control. The freezer drawers are solid construction. The lowest, largest one allows for storage of heavier, larger items, like a turkey or roast. I have purchased several refrigerators over the years. This is the absolute best! I highly recommend it.

i like that this refrigerator has a 3rd area where the temperature can be set differently from the main refrigerator and freezer compartments. i can keep meets isolated from fruits and vegetables and help reduce the risk of contaminating other foods. i ended up getting the 30" instead of the 36" because the 36" would've been a really tight fit. the 30" is a bit more restrictive for interior space, so it is a bit more difficult to place everything and still be able to see it/get to it. a 36" would not have this issue

i splurged for this nice looking fridge with ice/water dispenser. it looked great & worked great for 1 year. then the ice maker stopped working. when i pulled out the ice bucket inside of the ice compartment was frozen over. went online to find out this is a known defect that samsung did not recall. every month now when the ice stops working i have to defrost the compartment and reset the ice maker. my sister has same issue. apparently a widespread problem. disappointing, as i type this the cooling fan in the fridge is making a loud noise. again googled my issue & found people with same problem. ice build up behind the inside fridge panel. another service call. samsung should make good on their engineering defects. when i replace this appliance it won’t be a samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] while i fell in love with the flexzone drawer and the stainless black color, the infatuation ended with the ice maker in the door. every 4 months the ice maker would freeze up and stop producing ice. samsung warranty covered 3 repairs and an entire unit replacement, followed by another repair, and still, it will not function. i am so frustrated and disappointed with buying another samsung kitchen appliance only to have it fail. buyer beware. dont make the mistake and purchase any of the in door icemaking units.

Overall, the refrigerator is very nice. I love the black stainless steel and LED lights on the inside. There is a shelf next to the ice maker that flips up to accommodate tall bottles. The water comes out of the dispenser at a good pace and is colder than our previous Frigidaire. However, the ice maker is very slow and the container is small. We had to put some tupperware in the freezer and empty the ice maker from time to time to accommodate our needs. Other than that, it's been a nice addition to our kitchen.

we had a samsung and really liked it. we needed another and liked the features this model. reviews said beware of the icemaker. we thought those were just unlucky people ours will be ok. we were wrong. the icemaker started freezing up into a block of ice in the first 6 months. we took responsibility for our poor choice and now we get out the hair drier and defrosted the icemaker every month or buy a bag of ice, the dispenser still works fine. online sites show how to force the icemaker into defrost mode by pressing and holding freezer and lighting buttons. after 30 minutes of defrost mine seems the same. i think my icemaker was a lemon from the start. too bad, now no warranty. advice: wait for samsung to redesign the "ice master " model icemaker or be ready to buy bags of ice.

This refrigerator has the worse ice maker ever. Because of the poor insullation on the ice maker it causes moisture to enter the chamber therefore causing ice build up. I have had 2 repair visits and a hair dryer is used to defrost the ice and a tape to seal the side of the ice tray. The trouble not fixed. Every couple of weeks I have to use the hair dryer to defrost the ice build up and it works for awhile but the ice cubes are rough shape. No way of fixing it. I love the space inside but thats about it.

We bought our Samsung Refrigerator on 12 November 2016. Since that time the Ice Maker stopped working and 2 of the door bins broke where then connect to the door. The plastic on the door bins is very cheep and not strong. We bought this product because of the 4 door design. We love the "flex" zone drawer for our meat and cheese. The other features are great also but I can not recommend this model because of the Ice Maker and the broken door bins. I hope you have fixed these problems in newer models.

I have had the fridge for over 2 months now. I like it a lot. I really enjoy having cold, filtered water from the door. It is very convenient! I also like the middle drawer. We use it for items we access more frequently and snacks for my 7 year old daughter. Because we had to get the slightly more narrow 33" wide fridge, I've noticed that the door shelves are a little awkward, but are still pretty handy. The fridge space is perfect for us. Plenty of room and flexible shelves. Overall we really like it!

i bought this fridge due to the good looks and the slick design. unfortunately, this turned out to be my worst purchase i ever made. i bought the fridge 5 years ago.a few month after the purchase the fridge started to break down. -ice maker didn't work -cooling fluid was leaking -pressure in the cooling system not right -fan ices up every 5 month -fluid still needs to get recharged frequently -insolation not proper needed to get fixed within not even 5 years i had 7 repair guys over to get it back running again + i had to buy from my own money a small spare fridge and freezer in order not to throw away all my food every time. i was a big samsung fan and bought many other samsung products (washer, dryer, tv, phone etc.) however that was probably the last time i bought a samsung product.

Totally thrilled with the space and ease of access. Can find what I am looking for right away. Lighting is amazing. Both refrigerator and freezer were to set temp within 2.5 hours of delivery. Super quiet, had to check it a few times the first day to make sure it was running! Ice maker is loud, but seeing as I never had an ice maker before, I can get past that, and the fact everything else is fabulous! One concern is my ice is pure white not clear. It seems it may be my water and not the ice maker.

within 1 week of install this refrigerator stopped working. i immediately reached out to samsung but the soonest available appointment for repairs is 3 weeks from the date of inquiry. i'm without a refrigerator to store food and all my food that was in the fridge is spoiled. they said they will compensate me for spoiled food, but that won't occur until after the unit is fixed. as a consumer, i am disappointed with the urgency samsung has demonstrated here. i highly discourage purchasing products from samsung based on their inability to fulfill their customer obligations to deliver trustworthy and dependable products. additionally, their inability to act with urgency to solve this issue demonstrates no loyalty to their customers and has completely eliminated all trust i had in their brand.

This refrigerator was amazing at first. It was the only model that was skinny enough to fit my 33" wide opening with all the features we were looking for. Beautiful design and worked well...until it didn't. We have been suffering from a frost buildup problem that won't go away and can't be fixed due to lack of parts. My wife and I selected this fridge as the first and central piece of our appliance upgrade. It has room for everything one would need in the fridge. The middle fridge compartment is huge and has a temp select feature that is great for hosting parties, canned drink compartment, or additional storage. The Freezer is a monster in size and the pull handles to open and close are design with thought. Handles angle up when opening which is a very nice design feature that may be overlooked in stores , but when you have a full/heavy freezer it makes for a lighter open/close experience. Ice and water dispenser is flashy and quick. The look of the fridge itself is futuristic and edgy which is awesome since it is the largest piece in the kitchen. This is a must buy if you are looking for a french door fridge.

We've only had this product since December 16th, so far so good. I love the little drawer fridge we like to use it for those things you usually loose in the bigger part of the fridge, cut onion ect, also for the most used easy to find and grab. We own this model about 2 months. The major issue is the ice bin. It sits in the refrigerator section as this is French Door model. It seems there are warm spots as ice melts in the back of the bin and melts to the bottom and refreezes the bottom of the ice bin into the compartment. Also, ice refreeze in the solenoid that switches the lever from cubed to crushed, making this unusable. Right now, I remove the bin about twice a week to remove the ice, to make sure I can get the bin out, and to make sure I can get both cubed and crushed ice. As stated, there seems to be a warm spot in the rear of the ice maker where ice melts and runs through a guide hole in the ice bin. VERY POOR DESIGN. Right now I'm checking my options on returning this refrigerator. The problems with the ice maker overshadows any pros.

I bought this refrigeration 4 years ago. One year in and the back of the refrigerator had to be defrosted. It was within the timeframe of warranty so someone came out from a verified company to fix. Since then, I have had to take out large blocks of ice from the back refrigeration panel every 3 months because it completely freezes the fan and the fridge stops working. I gave up today at just over 4 years of use. I will be going with a different brand. Do not buy this refrigerator!

I have had this unit for 9 months now. Its been a wonderful refrigerator except for the ice maker. It's loud and the ice never seems to be frozen enough. In fact I filed a claim today because the ice is partially thawed out when dispensed and continually leaks water out the dispenser. This started about 3 weeks ago and is getting worse. I recently purchased the Samsung 4-door refrigerator for our downstairs kitchenette. We loved the color and features. Unfortunately, it has been a constant maintenance nightmare...for a refrigerator! Over 18 months, I have had to reset and manually defrost the ice maker at least 20 times. The "Twin Cooling Tower" in the back of the fridge features ice buildup periodically, so I have had to manually defrost that to stop the fan blade from contacting that ice and making a loud buzzing noise. For a refrigerator of this price, it is sadly disappointing.

I registered the fridge we got on Feb. 8 2017. But the latest I could go to was Dec. 31 2016 on the drop down menu. Early review. Fridge seems alright so far: 7/10 - Please fix the register warranty/product page. There's 2 of them. One is quite broken and does not have my model. A card came with the fridge with that URL. Did not work. Found an alternate page that lead me to write this review. It only half worked. Like I said, you need to add in the current year, 2017.

I've had the refrigerator/freezer for for 16 months. The ice maker started "acting up" after about 6 months. The ice cubes had a rough surface after 6 months then ice started pooling under the ice bucket and would freeze the ice bucket to the frame. I started defrosting it with a hair dryer as needed (frequently) and I even took everything out of the refrigerator and freezer and totally defrosted the whole machine for 24 hours. Leaking water under the ice bucket started freezing again and within a few days, ice was building up on the bottom frame of the ice maker, causing the ice bucket to stick. This is the most expensive refrigerator I've ever bought and it is a beautiful design, but the ice maker is not the same quality as the rest of the machine. I will never buy another Samsung refrigerator/freezer with ice maker.

This one has it, so at least twice a year you have to empty the fridge so that you can defrost the ice maker (and if unlucky, get to replace the ice maker fan). This fridge also has a problem where the entire back panel freezes over and blocks cool air from entering the fridge compartment. This happens every few months -- the solution, empty the fridge and spend 3+ hours trying to melt the block of ice that has formed behind the back panel. Customer support has been useless and every repair tech has told me that this is the norm for samsung appliances -- they look nice, but don't work well after the first year. Stay away

I bought the classic white model, and it is beautiful! It runs very quietly and has so much room for it's 25 foot cubic capacity. The middle drawer is a special bonus feature for my "grab and go" items. The freezer on the bottom is fantastic! I can see everything in it. And my favorite feature is the ability to get a glass of ice water and keep on walking! Everything stays so organized and I can find whatever I am looking for with ease. I highly recommend:)

We just received this Fridge & it has lots of room with many extras. We love the cold water & cubed/crushed ice through the door. We also love the FlexDrawer which serves many purposes. It's a deli & meat drawer or a wine drawer or for veggies or you can fit a large serving platter. The LED lighting is great to brighten all areas of fridge. We love the freezer & how cold it keeps frozen foods. With multiple drawers it's easy to organize your frozen foods.

Never written an appliance review, but I like this refrigerator so much I wanted to support Samsung designers who developed this. Looked at several competitors and took a chance on this one. Have never regretted. Worth the price. So Much easier to retrieve food both from top and bottom. Love the drawer. The lighting is great and can see everything so easily. I never changed water Filters on old fridge it was such a hassle. This one is right in front of you at waist level and takes five seconds to change. That is good design! The warning for leaving the door open is handy. I have been warned several times and appreciated it. Wouldn't have noticed. Water and ice dispenser very handy. Only wish is the crushed ice might come out faster. If you are shopping and reading reviews like I did, you can trust this product and will love it.

Just got my fridge today. Thought it may stick out too far as my last was 3 inches smaller. Looks great! Love the middle drawer. Will put all my deli items in it. Had a side by side before and there is so much more room in this. Really like the gray color on the side, better than black. Wish I could use magnets on the front, but you can't, only on the side. I have a small space and didn't think I could get a big fridge but I was wrong. So far, I love it!

Bought this fridge back when sears was still in Canada. Worst fridge I have ever owned. From day 1 the icemaker didn't work. Had the fridge replaced by Samsung 3 months later, and the same thing happened. I had purchased the extended warranty through Sears and of course Sears was gone and when I contacted Samsung they would not honor the warranty. So now I am stuck with a fridge and no icemaker, except the counter top ice maker I had to purchase.

For a 33" wide french door refrigerator, the upper refrigerator section is very room, especially compared with the 33" side by side which it replaced. In addition there is middle drawer which has additional refrigeration space (not freezer). The freezer section is not large, but adequate. I do have concerns about the ice maker. It does not hold much ice and I fear in the summer it will not be adequate. Temperature control appears to be excellent.

Had to call support to figure out how to turn it on. took about 20 mins to get it started. currently running great. problems were us the owners adjusting to the new shelves etc. so far every thing seems to be working fine. We wanted a freezer on the bottom with 2 door up top this has an extra draw above the freezer which the temp can be adjusted for personal needs a great feature. Once it was up and running we are very happy with the purchase.

This fridge is in a household with an 82 year old lady and a chronic pain sufferer (CRPS + chronic migraine). The handles on that little magic middle drawer and the freezer are so nice on the wrists! The fridge itself isn't too bad, it's just more than slightly better than other fridges, but on a bad pain day that makes a BIG difference. The LED lighting shockingly (I wish I could underscore that) is NOT a migraine trigger and the additional lighting on the sides helps with being able to see every nook and cranny. That 3 second alarm helps with post seizure brain fog (ex: "what am I doing, oh right, I'm in the fridge and hungry") In other words from my limited experience with being disabled (2.5 years) and my grandmother actually slowing down (6 moths) I think this fridge may just fit the bill for a good deal of disabled and elderly people :)

Overall, I really like this model, the drawer is really convenient, the French doors easy to use. If I could change anything, I would have had it an inch or two wider and an inch or two not so deep. Also, I have not been able to adjust the shelving where there was plenty of room for tall bottles - wine, even milk will not fit but one place. Was told to not put milk on door. Wish someone would tell me what the default arrangement of food is.

So far we are very happy with the performance and design. We read several reviews about the ice maker being an issue - it's not. Works perfect. I call Samsung before we purchased and they have some reasons for that issue. First is that they updated the ice maker about 3 years ago. If they're any issues after that it's due to the unit not being level or low water pressure. According to Samsung. All I know is that ours is working perfect!

This fridge is a pretty awesome fridge. I got a great deal on it and it looks and performs great. I've only had it for a month but it was a great addition to my kitchen. The only thing that I wish would be better is the water flow out of the water dispenser on the fridge but who knows maybe that could be a water pressure thing on my house and not the fridge. Bought a model RF25HMEDBSR SN: 0AFJ4BBH300617E Ice Maker worked great for approximately 18 months then the problems began, ice maker froze up, wouldn't dispense ice, got worse and quit. Contacted Samsung followed their suggestions which failed. I now note there is a class action lawsuit in the USA and Quebec.I just want my Samsung french 4 door fridge to make and dispense ice. The overall fridge is excellent except the ice maker.

Nice fridge, nice features and quite expensive as they made it run very quiet! Design is nice for folks like me with a bad back! One of my main selling points was how quiet it WAS. There is already a motor or fan going bad and it growls (loud) almost all the time. We will be calling customer service and either getting it fixed or replaced. I expect a $2k refrigerator to be well built and last for many years. SO FAR NOT IMPRESSED

i wouldnt recommend any refrigerator from samsung with the ice-maker in the door. it worked fine for about a year but never again. the icemaker freezes up and must be thawed out to function again. do your research and look at all the bad reviews and stay away from samsung. i have a house full of their appliances that are only a few years old that are all garbage. we bought on looks and didnt do our research. never again.

The refrigerator overall is good. I love the bottom freezer and the middle chill drawer. It is just taking some getting used to because even though the shelves are movable, there still isn't enough room for all the condiments a normal family has in their refrigerator. In order to have enough room, I would have to eliminate a set of shelves and a set of door holders so you have to turn things on their sides to fit them.

This truly is the 1st. refrigerator I love telling people about. I have an older home with an unusual space to work with, so I was more than pleased to find out Samsung made this model, and size. It's a little pricey, but I believe you get what you pay for with Samsung. This is my 3rd. appliance from them, and my first is 10 years old and running strong. We love the extra door, with the multiple temperature settings programmed into the door. It's quiet, spacious, organized, well designed, energy star efficient, and easy to use. I'm spoiled by how well the water filter works, and makes the water and ice taste. I thought everything was fine until we purchased this unit. If you buy this unit, you will not be disappointed. By the way, I am a real consumer. I just have no problem supporting a good product, because we've all been "burned" at one time, or another. Take care

i heard all the tales about the ice maker . and was worried that i would have a lot of problem. but i wanted that frig because it fit my needs. great frig way better then the kenmore elite i replaced. was not a bad refrig it just went out and i lost all of my food. so rather getting it fix i wanted to more too something new. i love the black stainless steel look . so i went for it and i was happy i did. great frig!
