This fridge has a major design flaw that makes deep cleaning nearly impossible without professional help. The glass above the vegetable drawers is fixed in place, and any liquid that spills can seep through a gap, becoming trapped between the glass and the plastic. Once inside, it cannot be accessed for cleaning. After contacting support, I was informed that this fridge requires a technician to remove the glass in order to clean it properly. This is an unexpected and frustrating limitation, as proper cleaning should not require a service call. Had I known about this before purchasing, I would have chosen a different model.

I bought this fridge on 29 July 2022, but did not have it delivered until mid October because I was doing major renovations. When it was delivered, I did a cursory inspection and it appeared to be ok. I plugged it in to make sure it worked, which it did. I then unplugged it since I don’t live there and it wouldn’t be in use. I’m renovating the home to put it on the market so deliberately left the plastic wrap on so when showing the home, it will be obvious it’s brand new. I was very busy dealing with various contractors getting flooring, cabinets, countertops and bathrooms done it was almost 3 weeks later I noticed the plastic interior was deformed on the bottom, as if the plastic had been melted at some point. I contacted the store I bought it from on Dec 16th and was told someone would be in touch with me within a couple of days. 2 weeks later I hadn’t heard from them so called them to see what was happening. I was told they were still waiting to hear back from Samsung. I called Samsung myself and was told they hadn’t heard anything from the store. I described the problem to Samsung and sent a couple of pictures and the agent agreed the fridge was defective, in his words “DOA” and should be replaced. I have a transaction number for this conversation. I asked them to contact the store to approve the replacement but was told they couldn’t and would have to wait for the store to contact Samsung. I then called the store again and asked them to contact Samsung about this. The next day I contacted the store again to see what was happening and was told Samsung would not authorize a replacement because it was “only cosmetic damage” even though a Samsung agent had already agreed with me the fridge was defective and should be replaced. They’re now refusing to do anything because I did not report it within 7 days of delivery, despite it having a 1 year warranty against manufacturers defects. The warranty info on the website when I bought it, and my conversation with the salesperson when I asked about the warranty made no mention of this 7 day period. This requirement was only mentioned to me when I tried to make a warranty claim, and long after they had my money. Samsung’s quality control should have noticed this defect and it should not have been sold in the first place. Avoid this fridge, and any Samsung appliances, at all costs. Their warranty is meaningless.

I bought this fridge 4 years ago and 8 months ago it started freezing every thing in the fridge from the bottom shelf to the produce drawers. I tried everything suggested on line but I am not restricted to the 2?shelves. Midland knows about this problem and referred me to Samsung who told me they will have nothing to do with it and all repairs ( if it can be repaired) are my responsibility. Not even an offer to give me a discounted price if it cannot be fixed. I definitely do not recommend this fridge. It looks good but has a serious defect. There is even a class action on it. BEWARE!!

We purchased this fridge just over a week ago. At some point over the last day, the fridge and freezer both stopped cooling. The temps inside the fridge and freezer displayed 3 and -18 but when I put a thermometer inside the actual temps were 21 and 3, respectively. Everything in the fridge had spoiled and everything in the freezer defrosted. We had to manually unplug it for it to start working again and are now waiting for a Samsung service technician to come. Nothing is being done to reimburse for all the food that was spoiled as a result. For a brand new fridge that was just purchased over a week ago, extremely unhappy with the reliability.

We like the finish, the large units on the doors and the reduced depth on the shelves which means items don't get buried in the back. The refrigerator is much quieter than the Fridge faire it replaced. The one thing I would redesign is the bottom section of the freezer. The freezer is two levels with a sliding unit on top of a deep pit. The bottom deeper part is basically a pit. You have to dig through layers a frozen goods to get to those on the bottom, which is inconvenient. The sliding section on top needs to be deeper, which would make the pit shallower and less of a graveyard for frozen food.

It cooled quickly and starting making ice quicker than I had expected. There is tons of space inside, and the LED lighting makes the entire fridge illuminate so nothing gets hidden. The handleless design makes it look very sleek and the hand holds at bottom and top make it very easy to open. It doesn't get covered in fingerprints and with toddlers around that is a plus! On top of that, if one of them leaves a door open it dings to let us know. It continues until it is closed as well as flashes the lights inside. No more unknown open doors!

we've owned the fridge a little over a month now. we've had numerous cases where the door gets left open because the left door has to be pressed shut. not just pushed shut (like it will close like a normal fridge door) but pressed shut, otherwise it sits ajar. the 'smart' fridge thinks the door is closed, though, so the alarm never goes off. the ice tray is nice, but it's pointlessly large. we'd prefer they left the small cube out, providing for more usable space. the stainless looks nice but the large, thin panels will inevitably dent. overall a fantastic fridge with a few shortcomings, but in this price range you expect perfection.

It has given a modern and upgraded look to our kitchen. It is spacious and we were able to fit everything we had in our previous (larger) refrigerator and have room to spare. The app is so easy to use and I love that it tells me when the door is left open. This comes in handy since my daughter tends to do this all the time. The ability to turn on/off the ice-maker from the app is also a nice feature. There is no fingerprints on it and having the handles hidden. We love the smudge-proof, it keeps it clean and looking beautiful.

as many others have said it will just decide to stop cooling/freezing; in my case the problem has been the freezer specifically. the unit is less then a year old and i have had to defrost the freezer once already to get it working again, saddly as of today i worry ill be defrosting it a second time. we lost everything in the freezer the first time and just never used it again the second time luckly. the ice maker is the worst design i have ever seen. you will knock ice behind the drawers when you open the freezer every time assuming the ice tray is full. the ice will all pile up and then upon opening it will hit the icemaker and get pushed behind.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to move the door shelves as well. Drawer space was amazing and holds plenty of meat, veggies, cheese and other produce. Freezer is very efficient, thought it would be small going from side by side but everything fit. Ice maker is quiet and produces plenty of ice. very easy to open and slide moveable compartments. The outside design is sleek and very modern. I love the no handles. Smart wi fi is nice, but don't need to use it much as it regulates temperature well. Highly recommend this appliance to anyone.

It looks fabulous in my kitchen and is already saving me money. It was easy to set up a nice start to updating my kitchen. If you leave a door open a bell will ring to let you know. If you need to freeze something quickly you can set the freeze quick mode and just like that your item is frozen. You can use an app to manage. It is so easy to find what you need or stand and view because of the bright interior LED lighting. And the Black Stainless Steel Finish is fingerprint resistance. This is a good purchase. .

i got the refrigerator brand new and have had it a week and 2days. today it stopped cooling. the refrigerator read it was 37 degrees inside and freezer was 0 degrees but this wasnt true. i had read the reviews after i bought the refrigerator and saw that they have a cooling issue, so i bought a thermometer and put it inside so i would know if it stopped working. thankfully i had my own thermometer because it saved my food today. i had to reset it a few times to make it cool again. now im wondering how many times this is going to happen to me. i am going to try to return this refrigerator and will not buy a samsung appliance again!

I was in the market for a non-ice maker fridge , which apparently is harder than it nowadays given that it is a default option. I needed a counter depth fridge and this one didn't disappoint—I am unsure why many industry folks are against Samsung refrigerators. It is a very sleek look, ability to customize between freezer and fridge is an added bonus. The wifi and mobile app is helpful especially if one is worried about the current temperature of the different sections. I usually use the power freeze function when I purchase frozen meat from the local supermarket.

bought this refrigerator may 2021. i have had to throw away frozen foods at least 4 times due to freezer not shutting. i have 2 children so i have blamed them for not shutting it the 1st time or 2. however, it's not my teenagers, the freezer is awful it doesn't shut properly. the refrigerator is great at letting you know if you left it open, however i've purposely left the freezer ajar and it doesn't alert you at all. i absolutely hate this refrigerator and have to buy a new one after only having this one for a year, can't keep throwing good away in this economy - also it's not finger proof resistant & makes loud noises

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we received our new samsung 19.5 refrigerator in a timely and professional delivery. i am pleased at the look and size of this refrigerator. while it is smaller than we have ever had it seems so spacious. within a few hours it was making quality ice. it makes ice quickly and can keep up with our family of 6. the black stainless steel is fabulous, as it doesn't show fingerprints. this is a smart refrigerator and let's you know if the door was left open, off temp and so much more. i only have a couple things that would make this a perfect refrigerator. i wish it had handles as it's hard for 5 year old to open . it would also be nice if it had a water dispenser.

Is pretty quiet and does what it’s supposed to. Wish it had a deli/cheese drawer, but it only has the two crispers. Would also be nice if it had door handles. Stainless steel is supposed to be fingerprint resistant, but that’s not accurate, especially since it doesn’t have door handles. It’s a little resistant, but not fully. I also don’t like that the doors don’t automatically shut and the left side door you really have to force push close. Thankfully I don’t have younger children in the house or that would be problematic.

I have had this fridge for about 3 months. So far, I am happy with it. It is just the right size for two people. The only thing I do not really like is the shelving. I knew it going into the purchase so I was not surprised. The three shelves are very close together. No tall things at all. My work around was to put my own brackets under the bottom shelf. Voila. I used very sticky rubber stops. It helps that my Breta water jug holds up half of the shelf. However... it would nice to have a split shelf system. Then it would be perfect. OH, The ice maker takes up too much room. I dont use it. THEN the freezer is plenty big.

We purchased this fridge in May 2021 and within weeks we had cooling issues and lost all of our food. Samsung finally sent a repair company after 2 weeks of having this issue. After waiting another week and a half for 3 different parts we are still having the same issue. Samsung refuses to refund us or replace the fridge. They have no idea what the causal part is and want to keep trying to replace the same 3 parts. Samsung does not care about customer service. A case has been opened with the better business bureau in order to try and get a working fridge after spending over $1700 on this garbage fridge and over $1000 in lost food. Never buy a Samsung appliance!!

It's also really sleek and rhe lack of handles and an external water/ice dispenser makes this very modern. That said, there are some negatives. One, the internal water pitcher isn't big enough, it should be twice the capacity. Two, the pitcher constantly doesn't fill up foe one reason or another. It happens A LOT. Very annoying. Three, while stainless steel looks nice, this particular finish shows EVERY LITTLE SMUDGE. No joke, I could clean it 5 times a day, and there would still be smudges at the end of the day. I haven't had that issue with other stainless steel appliances in the past.

The Samsung fridge features a modern exterior with trendy flat door design. There are easy to open recess handles that contribute to the stylish look. The entire surface is fingerprint resistant. I have a 1.5year old at home and do not need to do any extra wiping and cleaning which is AMAZING! Moreover, you can use a Samsung app to control the temperature remotely. If the door is open too long, you will hear an alarm but also receive a notification on your phone which makes it super convenient. Gorgeous fridge. I'm extremely happy with my Samsung fridge.

I wasn't sure if I would like the water and ice inside instead of outside, but I absolutely love it. No more mess on the outside of the fridge and the water pitcher instantly refills and is always cold. The ice trays are large and hold way more ice than my old fridge. The freezer has more capacity than it looks. The slide out shelves are a nice feature so you don't have to bend way down and dig in the back of the freezer. I took a chance on an open box item and I have no complaints. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I like that it has interior LED lighting and that it can cooperate with my local energy provider to save energy as we are on one of their smart energy plans. I would say the downside is that within a few months some of the plastic door trays for holding condiments and such are cracking and that the black stainless steel finish immediately chipped. We are careful with our appliances and yet the finish is not quite perfect and we've had a few dents as well. I love the look of it overall and the ease of use.

From day one, the compressor on the unit was bad, making a loud humming noise. We thought it was a fluke and just got a bad unit, so we went to order another one, but it was discontinued. So we thought we would have a Samsung technician come out to check the issue, and he said the unit was fine, that the sound was normal. Very disappointed in Samsungs customer service as well as the rude technician who came to service the unit.

The storage space seems much bigger than my previous refrigerator that was 5 cubic feet bigger. The model I bought does not have the ice maker in the door so it provides more internal space. My previous refrigerator had a light hanging down in the middle taking up space and this one has grteat lighting via LED's. The refrigerator keeps the temperature constant, and the WiFi feature is great to control the refrigerator. We have it set to reduce energy consumption during peak hours set by my utility provider. This refrigerator is perfect for the garage to be used as a 2nd refrigerator.

Bought this three years ago. At 2 years the icemaker (large cubes) started having issues, leaks, poor performance. Thawed it out and it started working again for only a little while. Switched to the small cube maker. After 6 months it self-destructed. The cube tray actually fell out of it all cracked to pieces. Finally quit using the ice makers (fun). The doors seem to dent extremely easy. It has 4 or 5 door dings. It is just me and my wife that use it. Neither of us can remember anything that happened that should have dented it. One of the dents was in it when it was delivered. This is the second Samsung in a row that we have had that the icemakers have been awful.

Fours doors ensure easy of access and the smartapp feature lets me know on my cellphone when my son forgets to close the door, which happens all the time! I love the bright interior LED lighting that lets me see everything. The quick cool feature is very convenient when I want to cool off some beer or ice cream that soften up. Wide shelves on the doors allow for storage of even the largest jars and bottles. The greatest thing about the fridge though might be the smear and touch proof exterior; no finger prints ever! Plus it looks great in our kitchen! Highly recommended.

You can also download the app to monitor, design meals, and even be reminded when food is about to go bad. I also like it has controls inside to change the temperature and to turn on/off the ice maker. This refrigerator stays super cold. The only complaints I have is that the shelves are not tall enough to accommodate a jug of milk. So you have to store it in the door or add something to lift the shelf slightly. Other complaint is that if the ice maker is full it can thrown ice in the back of the refrigerator when you open the freezer drawer.

I was in the market for a new fridge as part of my kitchen remodel and this fits very well. I love having the freezer on bottom and the french door aspect. There is so much room and the LEDs make it very easy to find things at night. The sleek color is absolutely amazing as well, I left the peel of plastic on until the remodel is done. Did I mention it has a ice maker that too is a nice added edition compared to my old fridge. I also love that I can hook it up to my Samsung Smart things app and control the temp of the fridge and freezer from my phone. This fridge has already exceeded all expectations.

This refrigerator is amazing! I love it! However, the ice maker,,ummm..who at r&d thought that this ice maker was a good design. It's horrible but I'm learning to live with it. When making the ice it falls behind the tray into the rest of the refrigerator freezer. So every month or so we have to empty out the freezer and remove all of the ice. But so far it makes ice wonderfully which is surprising for a Samsung refrigerator because those seem to be the things that break the most on them. Make sure that you get the extended warranty because your ice maker will eventually break because it's Samsung.

Other than the water pitcher not automatically refilling a few times (I remedied this by removing the cold water droplets off of the pitcher's sensor) the fridge has consistently maintained refrigeration and provided loads of ice. If you are afraid that this fridge has the capacity of WiFi due to a potential Terminator scenario, you should be pleased to know that this fridge doesn't need to be connected to the internet to function. If you do decide to connect it, you unlock cool perks like being able to receive a phone text notification if the fridges senses you left a fridge door open. Overall a solid purchase.

Pros: sleek design, freezer is super easy to organize and bigger than I thought (we used to have a drawer style freezer and much prefer this), the water pitcher is actually super convenient, and the fridge is magnetic which is a small plus but fun. Cons: the article that convinced me to buy the fridge said it had Sonics ice - but it doesn’t. They have “ice bites” which are just smaller ice cubes. It was weird getting used to ice in the freezer, and a few ice spills trying to get it out into cups, but overall easy enough to get used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we just got our new samsung refrigerator and it is so beautiful and spacious! right inside the fridge on the lower right side is the temperature settings. i can adjust the fridge and freezer temps separately and i can also turn on and off the ice maker. it also is a smart fridge and there is an app and you can set up the refrigerator with wifi and keep track of different things and adjust as you need too. also, the fridge will beep this pretty dinging sound repeatedly if you leave the doors open for too long or they don't shut all the way. which is nice. i love the way it looks. and the outside is fingerprint resistant which is nice with 3 kids! and it is easy to clean. definitely recommend.

just like others have pointed out here as well, i had all of my food thawed out and ruined twice. i really do think this is related to software issue because wi-fi anomalies seem to be related to it not cooling. this smart fridge is so dumb it doesn't even warn about the temperature being too high. for others having this issue, its just like any computer if you unplug it and plug it back in it starts working again. support has been good, and will have first service appointment soon. if they can't figure it out i'm just going to have to put this on a lamp timer to hard reset it everyday. also, the non-fingerprint finish is in fact thee most un-fingerprint resistant surface i have ever touched.

I wish I had never purchased this refrigerator! We've been using it since June and recently something spilled on the bottom shelf. It should have been easy to take out the shelf and clean. Not! After reviewing various YouTube videos and looking on the Samsung site itself we finally figured out how to get the shelf out but the glass does not come off so that you can clean under it! What a stupid design for refrigerator! It should be designed to be easily cleaned and taken apart without having to look up directions! We have this model with the internal water dispenser. No where in the directions did it mention the bottom shelf glass was clipped in. It took an engineer 45 minutrs to find this out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have to say this is by far the best refrigerator i’ve owned. the amount of space in this samsung four door is incredible. the draws are roomy, the shelves have so much room to put all sizes of items, the door shelves are some of the biggest i’ve ever had. love the two different sizes of ice cubes, the pitcher is the best it is always full and cold. there are so many features including the uv deodorizing filter, filter replacement notification, door alarm so you know if door was left open, and also connect this to smartthings so you can control your fridge from your phone. i am just so amazed and please with this refrigerator and i get so many compliments when people visit. happy customer!!

i like the sleek design and fridge space. i dont have to worry about the handles sticking out and the ice/water maker on the front and that taking out space from our fridge. i like the drawers in the freezer, so i can actually see everything i have. the fridge part is a little higher than i thought, so my kids have a hard time reaching much of anything. also, the "nugget" style ice was very misleading. i was expecting nuggets like sonic and chic-fil-a ice, but it's actually just smaller regular ice cubes. where this wasn't the only reason i bought this fridge, it was a huge selling point.

I despise this fridge. My landlord bought it to replace the previous 20-year-old fridge in my apartment after it failed. While there are numerous issues with its design, the biggest problem by far is that this fridge is so loud I can't exist in the same room without it driving me insane. And not just when it's making ice. ALL. THE. TIME. The noise is CONSTANT. I'm literally in the process of buying another fridge, with my own money, to replace it. I cannot exist with this monstrosity in my living space. I would rather not have a fridge at all than have to deal with this auditory torture.

I was pretty excited to get this beautiful looking new fridge for my new kitchen but was quickly disappointed when a 4 ft crack appeared just a few months into owning it on the front door making it look much less appealing. I opened a service ticket only for the rep to tell me I likely bumped the door on the edge of the counter when I opened it. If this indeed happened as they hypothesize, this is a poorly designed/made product that I will never purchase again. They sent me to the parts department to order a new door...for my brand new fridge...ridiculous. Don't wastey your money!!!

We love the freezer on the bottom and not having to kneel to get into the fridge any more. The only mark against it is the left-hand door. There is a kind of catch that flips and locks when pushed, but you have to push the door closed. I just think opening and closing a fridge door should be effortless. The door is constantly being left ajar and the fridge has a chime that goes off after 2 min. Kind of annoying. Other than that, this is an excellent fridge. I would still recommend it.

1. no water dispense according to the online specs, the model is with a water dispense but it's not. don't waste money on ordering the water filer suggested upon checkout. 2. bad storage design the only space for standard gallon sized or litter sized containers is the bottom shelf on both sides of the door. (one gallon-sized milk at each door and that's it). the height of the bottom shelf in the center is not tall enough for any standard gallon-sized milk/juice and liter-sized drinks. this is super inconvenient for a big family unless you have another fridge to storage milk/drinks

Integration with SmartThings is great (I just wish there was an option to see the current temp, not just the set temp). When I first got it, it cools down/got to temp extremely fast thanks to the PowerCool modes. I thought I was going to miss the auto ice dispenser like most refrigerators have but having the ice in the bottom is even better, you have more ice and two types all the time. There is a model with just the water pitcher and no water dispenser, and the outside door doesn't open, I am so glad I got this model instead. Also, customer care/reps were all super friendly and polite to deal with. Thank you, Samsung, for everything!

It has many many features I love the turbo cool for the fridge and the turbo freeze it freezes freezes really fast and popsicles if you make them at home. I love the twin cooling I love how they how big it is As well It's very efficient The temperature stays perfect and I do have noticed that my produce is lasting longer than normally . Our guests loved the no handle look and the black stainless steel and no fingerprints! Win win win. Cannot go wrong here. My wife added bins and lazy Susan's inside to maximize space and accessibility. The kids love it too they don't need to ask for help anymore to reach something. This also results in less food waste because we can easily see everything and remember what was purchased. Overall amazing experience.

If you don't need water dispenser this a a great refrigerator for you. The shelfs are strong. I would suggest putting more options for making shelfs higher or lower. It works great for us but some people would like to change based on their needs. I love the fact that i can connect it to my smart things and it will notify me if we leave the door open(which we do a lot). I also like that it doesn't have the handles to open the door which makes it look even better. I did have some trouble setting it up and adding it to my smart things app but i was able to add it. Over all a great appliance. I would buy again if i need to.

I like the fact that when the door is open too long it starts dinging to let you know, it's nice when the door isn't shut all the way, but is a little annoying when putting groceries away LOL. It is easy on the electric bill which is nice with the rates going up like they have. I like the no handle look, and the fact that you can use the grips on the top or the bottom. The stainless steel looks great, and no fingerprints or smudges from touching.

Easy features and no handles on the front make for great asthetics, however the freezer compartment will ice up if there are any items blocking the vent holes and I mean any items. We don't even put anything on the top freezer drawer at this point because of it. Everytime this happens, samsung service tells us we have to let the fridge defrost for 8 hours and then plug it back in to get it to start freezing the correct way. Other than that though, it's been good and we have a lifetime warranty on it.

Inside open up the two french doors beautiful . This has a good amount of space. The refrigerator notifies you if you left a door open for fridge or freezer. Since I have 10 year old who constantly goes in and put for snacks and has the tendency to leave the door open. The ice maker is great but, can drop ice on our floor when not full. I love that it is easy to clean. I also like that they freezer has a top drawer inside for quick easy items. I love the no handle look on this refrigerator modern you open it up by grabbing from the bottom instead of the insides.

I love the feature that can connect to the phone so I can have notification if the fridge door is left open for quite some time and the temperature raises too much. I like that the cooling system are two for the fridge and the freezer and independent from each other which keeps the food fresher. I like the fact that is fingerprint proof so less cleaning is needed. The LED light in the fridge is helpful to see what’s stored in the rear of the compartiments and the fast cooling option is a great addition to the fridge. I like the modern exterior and flat-door design and easy-to-open recessed handles. The fridge is ENERGY STAR Certified and has an alarm and starts to beep if it is left open.

I’ve had this refrigerator for 4 years. So far, no mechanical issues. The 4 door design is excellent, and the ice maker does a very satisfactory job of providing for my 3-person household. The miniature cubes work great for smoothies. The internal water pitcher is also a great option. It can be a bit finicky on auto-refilling, but keeping the niche wiped down and the pitcher fully inserted solves this. The pull-out drawers are very functional. My biggest complaints are that the aluminum finished doors dent incredibly easily, and the dark finish is starting to rub off at the common touch points. There seems to be no way to remove dents or touch up the finish, and this is disappointing on such an expensive appliance.

The black stainless steel looks beautiful and is very resistant to fingerprints. I really like how smooth it looks with the hidden handles. The fridge is very spacious, with no useless spaces. everything is open and the shelves inside and in the door have flexible spacing to fit your families needs. The freezer is actually very deep and can hold alot of food. The Icemaker is a nice addition without taking away from precious Fridge space. I also really like the French doors because the doors aren't as heavy and block my cabinets like my previous Fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do yourself a favor and research ice make issues with Samsung fridges. There are several class action lawsuits pending. Don’t risk your family’s health!! The fridge will randomly stop cooling, but still display a temp of 34 degrees. Keeping the ice maker permanently off does not solve the problem. Fridge must be completely restarted (using breaker) to get the correct temp readout. Worst part is, it can randomly stop/slow cooling for hours and then start back up, leaving you completely oblivious to the fact that food items inside have started to spoil. Of course all this will start up literally 2-3 months of the 1 year warranty expiring. If you still don’t believe me, look up the countless consumer complaints on CPSC website!

The stainless steel finish along with it being fingerprint resistant makes it pop and stand out. The french doors make it easier to get into it. The LED lighting is bright and vibrant. I love the slide out bottom freezer as well. You have the automatic icemaker that keeps you ready for any company or parties you have. With the power freeze or power chill you are able to get your items cold in a short period of time. I also use the Smarthings app to control the temperature or turn the ice maker on or off. Its nice when your not home and can do it while your away. I have two kjds at home and having an alarm sound aftwr two minutes of the doors being oprned is a big help

we just bought this refrigerator and had it delivered 3 weeks ago. since we got it, it has completely stopped cooling in both the fridge and freezer sections. the display will say that the fridge is at 37 degrees and the freezer is at 0 degrees, but everything is melted and warm. after unplugging and resetting, it will start cooling again, but this happens for no reason and with no warning. you just wake up and, surprise! all your food is ruined and your refrigerator has decided to stop refrigerating! this has happened to us 4 times in the last couple weeks.

i had the fridge a week when it stopped cooling one day. electricity still running and still conncected to the app, it just stopped cooling. the digital monitor inside read 37 degrees f and the app also read that it was currently 37 degrees f; they also read that the freezer was 0 degrees f. however these were wrong as the fridge and freezer were now warm. after unplugging and re-connecting the fridge, it then reflected the true temps which were 62 degrees f and the device started cooling again. a hundred dollars of groceries spoiled because of this glitch.

Easy to setup and to use with the handless doors. The doors open wide and it has plenty of space for everything, Easy to put everything together just side things and use. The door alarm is a great feature, never have the door open again because the smart things app notify my phone. You also get to control the temperature with your phone with the app. The lights are bright and make everything easy to see. I am so glad I got this.

Also love that i can make the one side of the freezer a different temp zone for when i need more space. I can fit so much in both the fridge and freezer. We love the dual ice type maker and the water pitcher in the door compared to the fill option on the outside of the door. The only thing I will say, is make sure you are washing the water pitcher weekly; it will start to get slimey. You wont regret this purchase.

I expected the same quality again. I have had this new refrigerator for less than months. It arbitrarily turns itself completely off, but the light is still on and the temperature reading says all is well. In the meantime, my food is thawing and being ruined. This has happed 6 times now. I am waiting on a repair person. The soonest I could get one was a 2 week wait. All I can say is that I will never buy Samsung again.

Update from an earlier review.* Wanted to like this unit. But it is unacceptable that every time there is no electricity for any reason for a moment, unless I manage to both catch this and joggle it into restarting it just sits there. There is no excuse for such a poor design. *Review titled "Lemon". This unit had a problem originally-Samsung service came ahead of schedule and dealt with it quite well. But this is now the THIRD time we've had to throw out the contents of the refrigerator because it would not restart after a momentary power loss.

It's shockingly larger than expected. Delivery and haul away were great and no issues at all with that! There is so much room in the refrigerator! I do wish the shelves were more adjustable because I had a hard time finding a water filter that would fit (ended up using one of the side door compartments and a smaller Brita filter) so that's the only drawback. Overall, everything from delivery to set up to size have been nothing but stellar! I also set up the device to work with my smartthings so I can see when the door is open or closed which a nice feature. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!

Let's begin by the additions this fridge can give to you; it has well rounded options like auto-fillable water dispenser. There's water that can already be dispensed in a jug, by far a really helpful way to immediately get water instead of waiting for a while to get water. Thumbs up. Some features that I love: +The fingerprint resistant finish is REALLY fingerprint resistant (as tested by two boys and a distracted husband). +The lights inside of the fridge are on the side so they never get blocked by what is on the top shelf. Never really thought about this before, but it helps so much. +The fridge will tell you what temp it is at, so no worries about food not being kept fresh. +So many features, it will be a long time before I run out of fun discoveries for all of them. Can't wait to set up half of what is now the freezer to hold drinks for my boys as they start sports. So Convenient!

Although this refrigerator is advertised as finger print resistance, IT IS NOT TRUE LOL!! Our fingerprints are still appearing on the fridge. Not having a handle is a lot to get used to. I think I'd prefer a handle here and there But then it would ruin the sleek look the fridge has. The main reason I made this specific purchase was for the freezer section. It has shelves and looks really clean and neat when all of my freezer items are in it. I don't have to search for items at the bottom any longer. The refridgerator section could have used another shelf rack. Like a deli draw or something. I find myself always rearranging the racks to accommodate my purchases for the week .

It performs excellent, keeping everything cold as expected, runs quietly and has plenty of room compared to traditional RV refrigerators. Using the app makes turning the ice maker on and off a breeze, something needed when dry camping with no water hook ups. A really nice part of the app is that it alerts you if someone leaves door open, and for some reason guest seem to not pay attention and do that. I am very happy with this product and delighted that Renegade chose it.

Many others have mentioned this, I will mention it also. I’ve had this unit 4 months, and it has stopped working many times despite diagnostics on the app saying that there’s nothing wrong. It looks nice in the kitchen, but I hate it. We lost a full freezer full of food and ice when the freezer temperature went to 50° one day despite being set to 0°. This led me to invest in an alarm thermometer for the fridge and freezer that will alarm me anytime the freezer creeps up over 15°. The alarm goes off at least every other day. I then unplug the unit and plug it back in and everything works for a day or two before repeating the process. Meaning I need to plan food storage around any trips I take. Owning this fridge is an extremely frustrating experience.

we've had this fridge for about a month and everything has been fine. last week we replaced our internet router and then the next day i realized that everything in the freezer had defrosted. i didn't know what was happening. i reconnected the fridge to the wifi. the app said that everything was fine. the temperatures were reporting as correct but clearly they weren't. after panicking and getting everything still edible out to my neighbors i turned the fridge off for 20 minutes. when i turned it back on the temperature reading was correct and the fridge and freezer started to cool down properly. this is so stupid. the smart fridge crashed and defrosted my freezer just because it lost the internet!! this needs a software update. not good enough samsung.

Move the floor between the two sections down a few inches and it would be perfect. Love the 4 doors. My previous refer had the slide out bucket on the bottom and I hated it. Things would fall down behind the bin and prevent the door from sliding back, so the freezer would start to thaw. Also think the 2 sizes of ice are great and the bins have their own shelf. Also use the water jug a lot.

We moved to brand new house with all samsung appliances. But our fridge isn't cooling properly. Every week I have to unplug it or defrost manually. Too much ice buildup near fan and it start making loud noises. I call customer service and they said I have to pay to fix this because I don't have receipt. It's brand new house with brand new appliances. Very disappointed. When I search online every 2nd person complaining about same issues with Samsung. It's manufacturer issue they should fix it for free or give us new one.

purchased the 29ft3 4-door flex and love the looks! unfortunately, the sleekness disappears with the first touch as any touch shows on the stainless. it hides nothing. i'm cleaning it every night. my frigidaire professional hid everything. i was concerned about not having a water and ice dispenser. i must say i love the constant fill water pitcher and find myself drinking more water. however, the ice maker is not as nice. it doesn't make very much ice and the ice it makes you push out the back when trying to get some. the flexibility of the fourth door is perfect for us. we have 3 chest freezers in the garage and needed more refrigerator space. this accomplishes it well. our refrigerator was always overflowing but not anymore. it's nice to see everything you have.

i am very pleased with the french door i purchased. it us not manufactured well. the display control panel did not work and has been replaced and niw all the refrigerator does is make a clicking noise all day. i looked and it is manufactured in thailand. they assembly plant is certainly not producing a quality product. i was told it was made in south korea. unfortunately, i was unable to buy whirlpool or kitchen aid due to space restrictions, which are american made. i did not want to renovate just for a refrigerator.

It’s one less thing to smudge. Also the shelves go straight across, so it’s easy to stow away large platters. The shelves don’t have many positions, which could be improved on, but it’s overall a really good options for people who don’t want an ice maker to take up space in the door or main fridge area. The doors hold plenty of space too. The ice maker is loud and the noise can be jarring.

The best part about is it has smart capabilities which you can control temperature and if you have it connected to smart things, you will be notified that you left the door open(which we do a lot) so it is a great feature for us. It is very spacious. It might not look as big but you can put a lot of stuff in there. The shelfs are strong and look great. The freezer is also very nice. It has the fast cooling functionality which can come in handy when needed. I really like the white LED lights. It matches all the white lights we have in our house. The stainless steel finish is great looking and finger print resistant. We dont have to keep cleaning as we did before. Over all very good appliance. I would recommend to someone and would buy again.

Repairman was excellent! Finish shows all dirt and fingerprints and needs to be cleaned daily. Ice maker container poorly designed. When pulling drawer out, ice falls in back and accumulates to the point that freezer will not close properly. Limited space for taller items such as milk and bottle drinks. Even the smaller soda bottles do not fit on shelf, but must go in door.

The icemaker is great and keeps us in too much ice but it is too easy to push the ice into the back of the refrigerator; a higher back on the tray would be helpful. We were disappointed that there is no section for the butter dish. But the wider door shelves are wonderful. Since the drawers don't all pull from the same place, you waste time trying to pull one from the top only to find that the handle is at the bottom; consistency in this would be helpful. The only other complaint is that the pitcher is too hard to get out of the door. It seems that children might have a bit of trouble with it. All in all, this is the best refrigerator we've ever had.

There is plenty of space in all areas we are using the flex zone as soft freeze for ice creams and such. The water pitcher fills very quickly and auto shut off when either of the top 2 doors are opened. The ice cubes took a while before making ice but they finally started once it was primed. Make sure to wash the pitcher and dump the first couple same with the ice maker. The Samsung fit right in with out any problems and looks amazing with the hidden handles. The Samsung RF29A9071SR/AA is also extremely quiet. We have kids in the house and the front still needs cleaning sometimes but it is a huge improvement with the finger print resistance.

have had it about a year. every few months, it just stops cooling. we discover it when we realize that stuff in the freezer is thawing - the thermometers inside still show the proper temps, even as everything melts. after much searching, the best fix we could find is, of course, turn it off and turn it on again. so we turn it off at the fuse box, turn it on, and it resets. if we dn’t notice in time, or are away, i guess we’re just screwed. will replace soon, as supply chains recover. don’t buy it.

major buying points, smooth front for easy cleaning, no water dispenser we never use & no ice maker taking up space in the main compartment. i’ve been dreaming of this fridge. i like that there are two removable ice buckets for a party or opt to turn it off for more space. the flex zone is a must: have a party, use it as a drink fridge or like wine….chiller or use it for raw meats for colder safer temps and to reduce risk of cross contamination or use it for deli-meats and cheeses. we currently have a drawer but the space is limited to very specific sizes. the pitcher is genius. we cold brew tea every night which takes up a huge amount of space. with the pitcher all i have to do is toss a tea bag in overnight and the fridge will do the rest. i hope they never discontinue this design.

The only things you can do in the app are change the temperature of both the fridge and freezer and ensure the door is closed and it sends notifications if the door is open for a while. It cools well and has plenty of racks, but I wish it was a little more adjustable on the shelves. I have to store some things on its side like tall juices because they will only fit in the side doors, but as I buy new things I am conscious of height to fit. Overall like it!

We've had this fridge for just over a month. I wipe it daily with a soft cloth because it shows fingerprints every time someone opens the door. I bought the fridge thinking the no-handle design would look sleek, but it just makes it so we have a fridge bordered with fingerprints. We also just put a weak/flimsy magnet on the fridge and it scratched the finish! Don't buy this fridge if you're looking for something durable that will look nice for a while. Did not meet my expectations from Samsung.

The controls are digital and intuitive for easy customization. I had to purchase one of the smaller options due to size constraints, but I am still able to get gallon containers in the lower shelves in the doors. I would like to have had one more drawer for deli items, but that’s okay. My one dislike is the lack of fingerprint resistance. While it’s not a horrible issue, it’s still is frustrating. Other than that, I love it! My food stays at the temperature I set. I can see the temp of the unit when I open the door. The freezer drawer glides easily and there is quite a bit of room there. Love this refrigerator! I received this refrigerator at a discounted rate in exchange for a review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another excellent Samsung products. Very elegant and highly functional, simple and stylish design. Easy to install even if you are not professional and works seamlessly with Smart things app with WiFi connectivity that allows full control of this Fridge right on the smart phone or tablet., this allows to use features like power cooling when you need it. Very quiet when it works and I can hardly hear the compressor working, it is also very fast to cool down what's inside it. Few colors to choose from which makes it very easy to fit in any kitchen, it is designed for a small family and does not have a huge space for tons of items which makes it the perfect size for small to medium size kitchens. The chambers inside are well designed and the ice making function is a plus. Highly recommended.
