This fridge has a major design flaw that makes deep cleaning nearly impossible without professional help. The glass above the vegetable drawers is fixed in place, and any liquid that spills can seep through a gap, becoming trapped between the glass and the plastic. Once inside, it cannot be accessed for cleaning. After contacting support, I was informed that this fridge requires a technician to remove the glass in order to clean it properly. This is an unexpected and frustrating limitation, as proper cleaning should not require a service call. Had I known about this before purchasing, I would have chosen a different model.

I bought this fridge on 29 July 2022, but did not have it delivered until mid October because I was doing major renovations. When it was delivered, I did a cursory inspection and it appeared to be ok. I plugged it in to make sure it worked, which it did. I then unplugged it since I don’t live there and it wouldn’t be in use. I’m renovating the home to put it on the market so deliberately left the plastic wrap on so when showing the home, it will be obvious it’s brand new. I was very busy dealing with various contractors getting flooring, cabinets, countertops and bathrooms done it was almost 3 weeks later I noticed the plastic interior was deformed on the bottom, as if the plastic had been melted at some point. I contacted the store I bought it from on Dec 16th and was told someone would be in touch with me within a couple of days. 2 weeks later I hadn’t heard from them so called them to see what was happening. I was told they were still waiting to hear back from Samsung. I called Samsung myself and was told they hadn’t heard anything from the store. I described the problem to Samsung and sent a couple of pictures and the agent agreed the fridge was defective, in his words “DOA” and should be replaced. I have a transaction number for this conversation. I asked them to contact the store to approve the replacement but was told they couldn’t and would have to wait for the store to contact Samsung. I then called the store again and asked them to contact Samsung about this. The next day I contacted the store again to see what was happening and was told Samsung would not authorize a replacement because it was “only cosmetic damage” even though a Samsung agent had already agreed with me the fridge was defective and should be replaced. They’re now refusing to do anything because I did not report it within 7 days of delivery, despite it having a 1 year warranty against manufacturers defects. The warranty info on the website when I bought it, and my conversation with the salesperson when I asked about the warranty made no mention of this 7 day period. This requirement was only mentioned to me when I tried to make a warranty claim, and long after they had my money. Samsung’s quality control should have noticed this defect and it should not have been sold in the first place. Avoid this fridge, and any Samsung appliances, at all costs. Their warranty is meaningless.

I bought this fridge 4 years ago and 8 months ago it started freezing every thing in the fridge from the bottom shelf to the produce drawers. I tried everything suggested on line but I am not restricted to the 2?shelves. Midland knows about this problem and referred me to Samsung who told me they will have nothing to do with it and all repairs ( if it can be repaired) are my responsibility. Not even an offer to give me a discounted price if it cannot be fixed. I definitely do not recommend this fridge. It looks good but has a serious defect. There is even a class action on it. BEWARE!!

We purchased this fridge just over a week ago. At some point over the last day, the fridge and freezer both stopped cooling. The temps inside the fridge and freezer displayed 3 and -18 but when I put a thermometer inside the actual temps were 21 and 3, respectively. Everything in the fridge had spoiled and everything in the freezer defrosted. We had to manually unplug it for it to start working again and are now waiting for a Samsung service technician to come. Nothing is being done to reimburse for all the food that was spoiled as a result. For a brand new fridge that was just purchased over a week ago, extremely unhappy with the reliability.

We purchased this fridge in May 2021 and within weeks we had cooling issues and lost all of our food. Samsung finally sent a repair company after 2 weeks of having this issue. After waiting another week and a half for 3 different parts we are still having the same issue. Samsung refuses to refund us or replace the fridge. They have no idea what the causal part is and want to keep trying to replace the same 3 parts. Samsung does not care about customer service. A case has been opened with the better business bureau in order to try and get a working fridge after spending over $1700 on this garbage fridge and over $1000 in lost food. Never buy a Samsung appliance!!

It has many many features I love the turbo cool for the fridge and the turbo freeze it freezes freezes really fast and popsicles if you make them at home. I love the twin cooling I love how they how big it is As well It's very efficient The temperature stays perfect and I do have noticed that my produce is lasting longer than normally . But the only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that This fridge is not smudged resistant unfortunately I clean it two or three times a dayBut at the end of the day I don't regret my purchase

We moved to brand new house with all samsung appliances. But our fridge isn't cooling properly. Every week I have to unplug it or defrost manually. Too much ice buildup near fan and it start making loud noises. I call customer service and they said I have to pay to fix this because I don't have receipt. It's brand new house with brand new appliances. Very disappointed. When I search online every 2nd person complaining about same issues with Samsung. It's manufacturer issue they should fix it for free or give us new one.

I have been using this 33” Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator with Twin Cooling Plus for a few months now, and it is just an average appliance. It successfully keeps my food cold and frozen. The Twin Cooling Plus feature does seem to keep the humidity levels balanced. However, the overall user experience and features could be much better for this price point.My biggest complaint is with the design of the doors. They are poorly balanced and do not automatically pull themselves shut. If you give them a gentle push, they frequently bounce right back open instead of sealing. You have to physically push them firmly until they close every single time. Furthermore, the door seals and magnet feel cheap and could provide a tighter vacuum. It gets the basic job done, but it lacks the refined build quality you expect from modern counter-depth models.

Less than two years old and I’ve had so many issues with this fridge. This fridge was installed by the home contractor and now I am awaiting my new Whirlpool fridge to be delivered. Getting the fridge fixed is impossible as there is only one service provider in my area and they thought a three month wait was appropriate. Whirlpool delivery takes less time. Samsung should stick to making electronics and not appliances.

This refrigerator has given us trouble from day 1. The unfortunate and more troubling part is Samsung not being able to fix it. Their warranty is by far the worst in the business. It takes forever to connect with someone on the phone. There is no email address for customer service or it is hidden somewhere on the site( impossible to find). I am very disappointed with Samsung product and after sale service.

We bought this fridge for our new house on a Boxing Day sale through Home Depot. Our new home had to be gutted and redone and it sat in the box for about 3 months before we fired it up. So far, very pleased with it! I love the ice maker and it keeps everything very cold! The freezer isn’t huge, so it’s a lot of Tetris to get everything in that you want but we’re okay with it as we have a deep freeze

After only two years, we began experiencing cooling problems. I observed that some food items spoiled prematurely in the refrigerator, followed by partially melted popsicles in the freezer, and now, we've noticed water accumulating in the refrigerator drawers. Given that Samsung's warranty does not cover evident defects after one year, they do not seem to be taking responsibility for this issue.

I have been very happy with the fridge that I purchased over a year ago. Temperatures are spot on. Set it to the recommended temperature and never had to change it. In the beginning the fridge had a cold spot but it has since adjusted to the actual temperature. Freezer is perfect. Ice maker works great.

We purchased this unit from Costco and after about 5 months of use, it just stopped cooling and we lost a full fridge/freezer of food. It's like the compressor wouldn't turn on. We were told it happens with this unit and to unplug and plug back in. It started working again but after two days is not working again... To say we are frustrated is an understatement. There is no way we can recommend this product and are waiting to see what Samsung is planning on doing for us. I do not want this fridge anymore and would prefer if they replace it with a comparable model at no additional cost to us. We lost a lot of food because of this issue, something I have not experienced with an appliance, ever. It's not worth the risk in my opinion and Samsung needs to address this issue as based off the reviews, it's a common issue with this fridge. We are still within a year of owning it so thankfully we should be covered but I don't want them to try to fix, they need to just replace it as fixes aren't working long term based off reviews. Not worth the hassle.

I love this fridge, its a sleek, counter-depth two door fridge. The stainless steel finish is the best part as it doesn't show smudges or marks easily, and cleans up easily when it does. It also has great storage with plenty of space.

The fridge stopped cooling. The display said 3 C and -18 C. But the fridge was warm and ruined food. The fridge is only 28 days old... I unplugged it 5 mins and back in it started working again. But Really... This is not acceptable.

Bought this fridge a while ago and it works great so far. Switched from single door to French doors and place every day item on one side and you don’t have to have the whole fridge open. Would buy the same one again.

I like the conter space Idea but the self hight design is not really for me it's difficult to have taller stuff upwards ever thing is laying side ways and had to buy clear bins to put things in

I bought a Samsung fridge 3 years ago. Within the first year, one of the shelves in the doors cracked and broke. I super glued it back together, and then a few months later another one broke. I super glued it again and by the end of my second year, five of the six shelves were broken. I had bought the extended warranty from Best Buy and of course shelves were not covered. A few weeks ago I was putting some cheese on the bottom shelf and the whole shelf gave way. The plastic along the edge had broken in small tiny pieces. Now the crisper drawers won’t open and close properly. I got angry and spent an hour online with Samsung chat for them to tell me that this was my fault and that I had damaged the fridge. Seriously? How do you damage the inside of a fridge?! I was promised I’d be contacted within three business days to escalate my complaint and it’s now been two weeks. I am insulted and disgusted that a refrigerator I spent good money on won’t even last three years. Without the door shelves or crispers, it’s basically useless for my family of four. Thanks Samsung for your poor customer service and your cheaply made product. Unfortunately, I’ve also bought a stove and TV from Samsung but will be looking for a new companies to make future purchases and will warn everyone I know to steer clear from Samsung.

I had the 2010 Model of this fridge and it stopped cooling. But it lasted about 15 years. Personally I feel these devices should last 20+ years since I do have a fridge build in 1970 that works perfectly. So lets see if I get 20+ years on this fridge. The older model had handles. This on does not and the pull is on the top of the French doors. So you need a reach of at least 74" to open. It has an app feature that allows of basic controls and notifications if the door is left open. I have owned other fridges (Whirlpool, Amana, GE, etc.) and they all have failed long before their life span. The Whirlpool lasted 5 years just when the compressor warranty expired. So the Samsung has so far been the best out of the more recent fridges I have purchased. I would by this product again. It would not be suited for a large family, capacity is only 18 cubic feet. I would think best of a family of 2-3. I do like the integrated ice machine. It is robust and makes ice frequently. Gave a 3 stars on value since I feel, based on the last model, these should last 20-30 years. Also the older model I had only cost me $900 new. Maybe there is an engineering limitation with the new technologies but my 1970's fridge works perfectly and all I need a fridge to do is freeze and cool. I don't need it to talk to me or take inventory of when I open and close the door.
