I've got two units - a commercial grade machine (not Samsung) and the new AX5500K I recently bought online. I've got to say I'm loving the Samsung for its intuitive features including AUTO mode which senses the air and adjusts its operation accordingly. Easy to keep clean, it's easy to move this device from room to room - its got wheels ! Lightweight too .. At night time this machine is better than my more expensive commercial machine - it's got quiet mode. The fan noise on my commercial machine is annoying unless you manually turn it down to the lowest setting. Well Worth It ... 75% less dust ... cleaner air ... lovin' it !

Bought the AX60 during the 2022 "click frenzy" sale, and was not disappointed. The only thing I regret was not purchasing it earlier. Set-up was straightforward, the wheels make the air purifier highly portable (I can move it to different rooms as and when I need it), and most importantly, the air purifier works. As a long-time sufferer of hayfever, I found that I woke up with a less itchy nose most mornings when I turn on the air purifier. It's also relatively silent and compact, and sits well at the corner of a room or along the wall. The only downside is the filters are quite expensive, but they are worthwhile for cleaner air.

Well its good, does the job, well built, uses less than power than a light bulb to run, quiet on low speed, easy to move around and easy to use, just press ON, however lets face it, it is expensive. It can be controlled by an app on your phone and show data about the dust its collecting, BUT the app is useless because as soon as you unplug it to move to another area it forgets all the settings, the fan speed, lighting mode and that WIFI was turned on! To enable WIFI again requires holding the sleep button for 3 seconds, then pressing it again to turn off sleep mode. Samsung engineers: if you hold the button for 3 seconds to enable WIFI that doesn't mean I want sleep mode. I shouldn't even have to do this, if it can remember the WIFI password then it can also remember the last status, come on. Please fix the firmware.

This is great in night mode, just a whisper of air movement, so perfect if you find a fan distracting like me. I checked with Samsung about the HEPA filter rating. They confirmed it was an H13, which is medical. It has a good read-out for impurities/particles, which picked up smoke from a burn-off one evening and turned the digital read-out red, then quickly cleared the air. I opted for this size which does a bigger area (with wifi which I’m having trouble setting up because it can’t find my modem) than the smaller room model just to have a bit more flexibility in use given there’s always cat and dog fur in the house.

I purchased this unit a couple of weeks ago after previously owning a different unit which I handed on to my daughter for her newborn. I bought this AX60 6 days ago, and I compared this with the AX90, which is the larger version of this, and researched between Samsung and Dyson air purifiers and other brands. I didn't choose the bigger one as it seems heavy and doesn't come with concealed wheels, and I didn't choose Dyson because it has negative comments. They use different techniques in testing the air purifier. However, I will not explain in detail the comparison as this is about the one I bought. The delivery doesn't take long. Once the product arrived, I opened the package and set it up. I also registered the product in Samsung Members. The product isn't weighty and has concealed wheels, making it easy to move around without hassle. The setup isn't complicated, and it is also integrated with Wi-Fi. You can download SmartThings from your mobile device through App Store or Play Store to control the device from your phone. What I noticed after using the product is that the dust disappears, and the air is clean (obviously). I can feel the difference. Of course, if there is a cooking smell, you must ventilate the room and open the purifier in High mode. As it is the process of purifying indoor air, I suggest you close the air purifier for awhile while cooking and open it in a high mode. Once done for a couple of hours and it will remove the odor, but it requires air circulation. That is why ventilation is recommended. While in sleep mode, it is pretty quiet, and I barely notice the noise. It also has features such as child lock mode, lighting, timer and PM digit (which shows the amount of pollution). I like the design, and it just depends on people's mindsets. Because of SmartThings, is convenient for me. I can control with voice and setup automation which saves time and energy usage. Overall, I would recommend this product to people thinking or looking to buy an air purifier. Well, you cannot experience how clean the air is in writing, but you can feel that when you have one. I don't regret buying this air purifier AX50. I am pleased that I chose the right one. I am not paid to write this. This is a review of my experience using this product. Happy breathing the new air! I bought this item on a whim, but now cannot live without it. It does exactly what it said it does in the advertising brochure. The purifier has changed the living space in a good way. It is very response and powerful enough to sense changes in air quality for majority of the apartment. Since getting it, one of our cats allergies has miraculously settled down. It can be programmed to turn on and off at specific times or it can be just left on Auto. When we cook, it can pick up impurities from across the living spaces and then remove them quickly Very happy with its performance

I bought this product a month ago and it's mainly on almost all day on auto mode. The quality of the air improved since day one. Usually the particles of dust can be seen on some of the furniture prior I bought the air purifier. Now I noticed that that there are none! The AP comes with Wi-Fi so you can download the Smart Things app (compatible with Apple) and control remotely from your device. Comes with different modes such as different fan speed with an option of Auto or Sleep mode. Another factor that was important for me was the power consumption, but so far I haven't noticed any increase on my electricity bill which is also a very valid point. Definitely the air quality at home is fresher and more pure, and I believe that regardless of the price this is an amazing product I am very happy without any hesitation to endorse. Thank you Samsung for creating such an innovative good quality product which can make our lives better!

Been looking for this but horribly short supply. Compared it to an Aussie made purifier (8 week wait time) but this unit better spec for the money especially air flow capacity. Both run H13 HEPA with as far as I can see silimiar surface area size I use it in my medical consult room. Prof R Macintye quoted these units dramatically reduce covid virus concentration from the air.

I purchased my first air purifier around 8 months ago and am so happy with it I just purchased a second unit for the office - along with several extra filters, which were currently on a special discount offer. It works extremely well. I have the fan on auto and it speeds up whenever there is anything in the air that needs purifying - even the occasional bodily 'methane' escape, which really surprised me. I'm a smoker and it takes care of not only the smoke smell but also the lingering nicotine haze that will eventually stain everything around it.

This purifier just works. Easy to assemble. Very effective and interesting to learn just how poor air quality can be. The app also connects easily and works well enabling you to control the unit when away from home. Only downside with the wifi connection is that when you unplug the unit you need to turn the wifi function on again on the unit. You do need to clean the pre filter every few weeks as it fills up with dust depending on your conditions. The main filter should last about 6 months through normal use. Do highly recommend this unit.

I have a few other air purifiers and this one beats them by far. It is quite large, however, it fits in well in the home anywhere and wheels make it convenient to move. It is also not very heavy. I love the Wi-Fi on it and ability to add the app to your phone. I didn't think that I would use this feature at all, but have found it is really good. It shows you when the air quality is not good and I tested this by lighting a match and blowing it out and the air purifier detected the smoke and then cleared it. It has quite a few features such as sleep mode and auto. I find it simple to use and for me with small children the winning feature has to be that I can put a child lock on it. It is well worth the money to buy this one over the several smaller ones that I have.

The filter is beautifully made and can be controlled with wifi. unfortunately Samsung took over two months to deliver it in spite of many promises. They also failed to deliver the complimentary air filter that was promised as part of a promotion at the time. That argument is still on going

Great item. Easy to set up. Slightly difficult for one person to remove from the box so make sure there is someone there to assist you. The front panel is removed easily to reveal the filter. Make sure you remove the packaging from the filter before turning it on. It is a slightly large unit but it does have wheels which makes it easy to move around. Have used it only for a few hours but, so far, so good. It is also fairly quiet. Bought it for half the price so I am extremely pleased.

I was a little sceptical about how good this would be, but I shouldn’t have been concerned. It works so well at clearing the air of cooking odours, doggy smells and bushfire smoke and so much more. The air is left crisp and fresh. Easy to use and although reasonably large it is easy to move and It runs much quieter than other brands. I did extensive research before making this purchase and it was worth the effort. A great product that’s worth the outlay.

We recently purchased the AX5500 to help control all sorts of dust in the air in our room while we sleep. My wife suffers extreme asthma and slight allergies from our two cats, and even though we never let the cats enter our bedroom, the affects of dust, wind blowing in from outside through the gaps in windows and pet dander in the air, all makes her suffer on occasion at night.. and she’ll reach for her simbicort inhaler for relief. However we never had an air purifier before, we decided to go all out on this one, and it has had a profound effect on ability to sleep better and the amount she wakes up from shortness of breath, as well as her allergies appearing to be under control more so than before. When we aren’t using it in the bedroom, we wheel it out to the lounge room-dining space and turn it on to help the air there when we are simply enjoying our time sitting on the couch spending time relaxing to a book or eating lunch. Though I think for the outer living area the bigger unit would be better, the ax5500 is doing an amazing job and I’m really surprised and happy about the money we spent for it. It’s running 24/7 and it hasn’t skipped a beat. The sensors pick up all sorts of things quite quickly, and we notice it when fluffing a blanket, opening a door, dusting the room. Noise wise, it’s working.. we can hear it on low, it’s not a whisper quiet unit; but we don’t expect it to be, we expect it to be sucking in air! Haha.. Anyway, great device! Samsung nailed it. Once we have saved a bit more, we will get the bigger unit or the living space in the house.

This is our 2nd Samsung AX60. We were so pleased with our first purchase. The machine operates well, removing dust & smoke from air. Only complaint - this unit has noisier castors & the plastic of 1 is irregular near the axle. A little lubrication has mostly improved it, but one castor is not great noise wise. The sound of air passing over hepa & charcoal filter is louder on this unit, but still acceptable.

Whether it be seasonal allergies, the occasional smoke or pesky dust in the air this air purifier does a great job of making my air breathable. As someone with really bad allergies I bought it to help out and it's honestly worked wonders and I don't regret buying it one bit. It also has some cool features which allow you to schedule it to turn on and off automatically to whenever you need it!

Living on reclaimed sand hills has its benefits, but we have to put up with high levels of dust and pollen, add to that, we loud our animals but they do have the occasional whoopsie. The Samsung Air purifier is now providing us with clean air, dust levels are much lower and no animal odours. I only wish they provided a better description on how to connect it to our Wi-Fi network and iPhone,

Apart from its size (it is "huge"!), it works as expected and better than the replaced purifiers. :-) Would very much like to be able to turn down the displays brightness manually, besides using the sleep mode. I needed an air purifier for a kitchen/dining area (7 x 9 sq.m) approximately. 1. Purchase - I bought this item from Harvey Norman. The package was well packed and the air filter was fully sealed, so I had to remove the filter cover before usage. Installation was easy and the connection to Smart Things was also very straightforward. 2. Usage - Stupidly, I used this air purifier without removing the sensor-protecting stickers on the side for around two weeks. So, I thought this AX60 was not that responsive even after cooking. As soon as I removed the stickers, it started to work vigorously on auto mode. 3. App - On Smart Things app, you can control wind strength and set up a schedule. So, I always set up the wind strength “Auto” and programmed it to work from 5 pm to midnight when I am most active at home. It worked beautifully and I touch this machine once or twice a week when I want to switch it off earlier. So, the automation was great. 4. Performance - I have been using it for the last 8 months and it doesn’t have any issues with the performance. I always set it up “Auto” mode, so it worked fine. I left this next to TV so it can be noisy when it runs on the strongest wind strength, but most of the time, it doesn’t bother you at all. The only problem is when I start to cook, the particle reading goes higher, sometimes to the maximum, so I switch it off If I need to do pan fry. Also, even on the weakest wind strength, you can feel the wind flow well. So, if you are sitting on a sofa on a chilly night, you will feel like there is a breeze at home. In overall, it is quiet, powerful and robust. After using this, I am not suffering from sudden sneezing and nasal congestion. 5. Maintenance - I can see that the washable pre-filter becomes dusty after 2-3 week usage so I vacuum them every two weeks. To sum up, this AX60 does what it has to do and I am satisfied with this so far.
