I just wanted to update my last review - the air purifier is epic now, just like my AX60. Turns out, it needed a month or two of running to pick up certain smells. Now, it's detecting fragrances, which is why I got it in the first place. Our neighbours laundry detergent smell was killing me, but this air purifier detects it out and cleans the air as it should. My only complaint is I wish I could purchase wheels for it. I might have to visit bunnings and come up with my own creation. Otherwise, if it wasn't for that, it would work really well.

I purchased two of the largest air purifiers Model AX90T7080WS/SA and upon delivery found that they do not come with the "concealed wheels for ease of movement". Given that the air purifiers are large, heavy and expensive at $999 recommended retail. I am not happy that I am now obliged to contact a Samsung Service Centre and buy two sets of wheels (if they are available). I would NOT recommend this product as it is not supplied with the concealed wheels, as the units are far too heavy to easily move from room to room.

I bought our first AX90 air purifier in January, hoping it would help reduce the dust, pollen and pet dander in the air as family members suffer quite badly from allergies. The results have been excellent so far. We were so impressed that we purchased a second unit in February so we can have one at each end of the house. They are easily moved so we can temporarily use one in the guest bedroom when family visits.

I purchased this air purifier to replace an old ionizer. Instead of drawing dust particles to the floor, they are removed from the air via the new filter. I've noticed less smells in the air from all kinds of sources and my partner has almost stopped coughing in the mornings. It was not an inexpensive purchase, however, the unit covers our whole house, does the job extremely well and I expect years of use.

The purifier works great but the app is not so friendly or intuitive. Setting the on off time you get no indication of what is set neither on the app nor the purifier so you don’t know what’s set. The app also doesn’t display the pollution figures in real time like the unit does. Also the instructions to link the unit to the wifi with your phone don’t work giving password error and the Samsung help desk were not much help either. The user guide needs to be rewritten with clear instructions that actually work. I ended up connecting the unit to the wifi and the app by using the app which is not the method shown in the user guide. Wasted a lot of time trial and error to get it done.

Our house is not really in a dusty area as validated by the Air Purifier readings. The readings have not changed at all from the moment we turned the units on. They have been effective in clearing my wife's mild asthma symptoms. I too seem to be breathing better and have not had any issues with hay-fever since we bought the units (touch-wood). The first unit was placed in our bedroom, and after seeing its benefits we bought another for the music room. Definitely recommend purchasing one if you have dust allergies. Nice looking units too. Bought the units after reading "Choice" recommendations.

We have had our air purifier for a few months now. We have pets and my daughter always had some light allergies from them. The Samsung Purifier is removing the pet hair and significantly reduced her alleges. Its quiet and easy to use under normal operation. When the air is poor the fan is quite loud but it docent last long as goes back to normal.

I’m truely disappointed after having an ax60 the lower model. I had high expectations since the ax60 is everything!! The ax90 has no wheels so it’s extremely heavy and hard to move, secondly it does NOT detect fragrances which the ax60 does (it doesn’t make sense) the neighbours strong washing smells come in through the window and the air purifier doesn’t do anything, but yet my AX60 would turn red with high speed. I I also noticed a coil sound when it’s on night mode that I can hear even from a distance. My ax60 has 0 sounds only of blowing air without any other sound. I can sleep perfectly with my ax60. I wish I could return it so I can buy another ax60 :,( too bad the ax60 is now discontinued. I could buy a used one but, I’m highly sensitive to fragrances, I get bad sinus migraines and cannot live a normal lifestyle. Please bring back the AX60.

This unit was purchased because we have a wood heater and occasionally the smoke from the wood heater gets into the room and the air purifier does filter it out. Replacement filters are a little expensive. :(

Bought it to better manage pet hair, dust and allergies. Free delivery was included and so far I have found it easy to unbox and setup. The unit is easy to operate, with 6 large and reachable, self-explanatory buttons on top of the unit. Or one can use the optional remote via Samsung mobile app, which works well but isn't necessary, although that may depend on the particular house and placement. It has large capacity filtration (701m³/hr or 90m² room size) and it's very quiet at low speeds. As for the particle and gas sensors, they are colour coded and change their colour according to sensor readings (blue/green/yellow/red where blue means great and red is not so good). All in all, a very positive experience so far, thumbs up from me.

Within 24 hours i & others noticed an improvement in the house air quility. I leave it running on 'Auto' 24/7 now & it takes care of itself & the air. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 story open plan town house.It takes care of the entire intererior both upstairs & downstairs. Even the bathroom smells fresher. I recommend buying one bigger than you need, that way it isnt running at maximum all the time & you will get longer filter life. Highly recommended. Expensive but worth it to date.

I bought this if purifier about two weeks ago before my daughter arrived home from Japan. My daughter had said that her allergies had been amazing while in Japan, so I thought it best I buy an air purifier to purify the air in our home before she gets back and hope that it helps her allergies. I bought two, one for the living area and one for her bedroom, and other than the fact, they blow cold air and I don’t know what I’m going to do in winter. I have found them to be amazing.

I have it on 24/7 because I am sensitive to smell and because I have a big dog and she often farts. Once I burnt the pot and what’s inside and this air purifier helped to get rid of the burnt smell. By opening the windows and using air purifier it got rid of the smell faster. I live in a big two level house so I have 3 air purifiers as one for downstairs, two upstairs- one for my son as his room has teenager boy smell!!

I bought this last year and while it generally sits around 5 it has been up to 374 on Christmas day when my neighbours got a smoker for Christmas and had it on for 12+ hours. It's also great in winter when ALL my neighbours are burning wood. Most importantly it is listed as 'life saving equipment' with my electricity company, because my asthma is so bad. A little pricey for pensioners but worth it.

I bought this a couple of months ago and we are so pleased with it. It is a tall unit but on a small footprint. The lights are blue and not disturbing at night. It is so quiet I have gone up to it a couple of times to make sure it was working! It is easy to operate and we can notice the difference in the air in the room. The price was better than some small models from other brands. Very happy!

Wow, why didn't I get an air purifier earlier. It's great, we can definitely breath easier than before we starting using it. We had some work done in a bathroom and you could feel dust in the air from it. After we turned the air purifier on, you almost immediately feel the air start to clear. It's going to be great for pollen season and when we have smoke in the air. Definitely recommend it.

I received it yesterday and couldn't wait to try it out and oh my gosh what a fabulous looking purifier, very stylish design ,very easy to use and set up. Last night was the best night sleep i have had for a while. No coughing throughout the night and waking up refreshed ,so in my opinion it's the best investment that i have made. The fan is more powerful than I expected. It has lots of levels so you can make it with strong wind or quieter. I like it alot. It is easy to set up and has pretty colours. It tells you if the air is good, or if it is a BAD one. You can use the app if your feeling lazy on the couch to change modes and everything. I used mine on the couch because I was watching the football finals.

After several weeks of use, my partners moring caugh has all but disappeared, smeels in the house are quickly removed, and the whole house is covered with this large unit. Not an insignificant price tag, however, good value. It's cheaper to run than the ionioner that it replaced. Particles are removed from the air and not brought to the floor as before. All in all, very happy.

I have had this a few weeks now and I've noticed how better I feel. The air I'm breathing is now more crisp and fresh than before I had this product. It's very quiet on sleep mode which I'm very happy with because I'm a light sleeper. The one suggestion that I have is that they should of put the wheels underneath because it's heavy and awkward to move around from room to room.

I was never convinced of air purifiers in a house where the air was clean. The air purifier confirmed the cleanliness of the house. However my wife’s asthma symptoms seem to have disappeared and my nose not as congested at nights. They work so well that we bought another for the house. Choice recommends this model. Definitely recommend getting this model.

I purchased this item on 12/12/222 and am astonished how sensitive it is in picking up pollution in the air. I burnt a slice of bread in the kitchen at least 15 meters away from the unit sited in a bedroom and it picked up the pollution/smell and the air quality level went from blue to yellow in approx 10 seconds. It then reverted to blue within a minute.

We have the medium-sized version of this series in our bedroom and decided to get this larger one for our main living space. Even with heavy traffic outside and windows open it keeps the air quality at maximum, and if we make something smoky in the kitchen it's strong enough that it clears the air within about twenty minutes. Definitely recommend.

Really like the night time mode because the fans run in a quiet mode and only 1 small blue light to indicate the purifier is on. Unfortunately a purifier of this size requires casters so it can be moved between rooms. One hand grip on the back of the unit is not sufficient for lifting. A big design failure Samsung on these 2 problems.

Purchased this air purifier to help with seasonal hayfever, has been a major help ever since it arrived. The unit is very powerful despite being positioned slightly suboptimally (in a corner) and runs incredibly quiet. The night mode on this is quieter than most other air purifiers I have used. I purchased this particular unit because of it's great 'Choice' review and primarily to remove cigarette smoke (I know, it's a disgusting habit). Schedule can turn OFF and ON only. You need to be able to schedule Sleep mode. If you set the device to turn off at night, it goes BEEP BOOPBEEP at full volume. I'd rather adjust the mode rather than turn off since it's so loud. Great device, unfortunately not enough features in the app.

It's been more than 2 years since I bought this air purifier. One if the best decisions I made. It does what it says exceeding expectations. The sensors are very effective and picks up specified PM partials and smells accurately. We use this in a open plan living/dining/family/kitchen with is quite large. The color light indicators show the air quality and if in auto mode it automatically speeds up until air is clear. Very useful to clear air from cooking. It is very quiet and discreet even at highest speed setting it isn't too loud. Filters would last 6 months on continuous usage but we have been using mostly in summers and on specific occasions like clear air from cooking. I didn't had to replace the filters yet. Apart from all these it is designed beautifully and compliments the modern furniture setup in the house. It has wifi and smart things app makes it easy to control remotely or schedule timing to run for 15mins 4 times a day to maintain good quality efficiently without the need to run 24/7. Alexa compability makes it even more ease of use. I would highly recommend this.
