My six year old Breville microwave broke down and I was super disappointed! Would have rebrought it if it was available. I brought this one got home sorted it out and it was a dud. Door wasn’t level, door had to be slammed shut like slammed to be able to shut and the whole microwave wobbled so within 5 minutes of it being home I was getting a replacement. The replacement still had problems with wobbling and the doors plastic is warped but I wasn’t going back for a 3rd time! I do have to say the service was great, there was no questions asked about replacement they were happy to do so. Fingers crossed that this lasts as long as my old one did!

Had a LG 40L microwave which I loved but after three years it rusted out so bought this instead because it was only other 40L microwave we could find and it was a Samsung. Can't see a thing inside it while it's going so don't know if anything overflows etc. The open door button sticks pretty much every time and defrost stops all through cycle making you get up to press on button again and again. (Yes I know I'm spose to turn things over but I just want it on defrost for a certain time frame) so far hasn't rusted out from the inside but is very wet after each use so will probably happen soon we have had it for four months and will be going back to the LG.

Good slick looking. Note there is the more silvery vs metallic black option. Works as expected. I only wish you could just press Start and heat 30sec for each time you press start automatically. Instead, you need to press the 30sec button and then press start. Also, the buttons are not that sensitive and requires a pretty firm push exactly in the middle of each button for it to register the button press (and the buttons are pretty small!). This can be annoying as sometimes I'm pushing slightly off centre and need to really slow down to target the button!

The Samsung 40l microwave is a very well-built unit and thought has been put into the design to make it very easy to clean, no nooks or crannies that will accumulate muck over time. Ours is a modern kitchen and the unit looks very good. Having said all that, it also works very well. I find the control panel easy to use. I read comments about not be able to see inside when heating, but frankly I can't think of when I do this, so it is not a downside and even if it was, the good far outweighs the perceived bad.

We bought one of these Samsung MS40J5133BG Microwaves from Harvey Norman and within a few weeks it stopped heating. Took it back, had it assessed and they replaced it. 2 years later the start button has stopped working (you can press it as hard as you can about 50 times and then it might start) it's driving me mental not being able to just pop something in and then eat. I've only ever had Samsung phones, but I will be avoiding Samsung appliances from now on

I bought microwave, fridge and washing machine online . Fridge came with dent mark and microwave something wrong with it so noisy . We called customer support and asked us to pay to fix microwave. Seriously brand new microwave for us to fix it on extra cost again. And refrigerator doesn’t cover and again Samsung delivered not us . They are just ridiculous. I won’t recommend anyone to buy Samsung products. Please people don’t buy anything from them.

We got this microwave from a friend for our first home, and, when the second-hand finally died, we bought a new one because we loved it so much! The light is a little dull inside, so if you're a microwave-micro-manager than you might struggle. But if you don't watch the plate turn and turn and turn, you'll have no issues like we do! Its the perfect sleek microwave.

This is a beautiful and easy to use appliance. A lot of the reviews I've read online complained about the dark glass. However, I have not found this a problem at all. I love this Microwave, works really well. Except for a few things. -The light is to dim, needs to be 2x brighter. -The buttons are annoyingly difficult to push, works better with a hard object. -The microwave doesn't tell you the door is open when you push start. -At least twice the microwave has not registered that the door was opened when to was on.

The microwave is great. The only feedback I would provide is the door does not have a 100% reliable close. There's been a couple of times when I couldn't figure out why the micro wouldn't start, and it was because the door was not full closed/closed properly. You need to really push the door or secure it when closing. Other than that, it is great!

Our previous Samsung microwave lasted us 15 years (the only one we ever had!) so it was a no brainer to get another one. Love the black style - looks really nice in the kitchen. Performance wise, it’s perfect. Love that most options are very similar to our old microwave too so was an easy transition.

Great microwave, probably worth 4.5 stars. It's quieter than our last microwave and is well featured. The only thing I don't love about it is the fact that the buttons require precise, firm pressure to work. Sometimes I miss the exact spot or don't press hard enough for it to register my input.

A nice sleek looking Microwave. It's quiet and I like that the beep sounds can be turned off. The steam clean feature is also a plus for me. It has a child lock system you can turn on so little fingers can't press buttons. Overall it is a great appliance and we are very happy with it.

As a general use microwave it's fine, however the defrost feature is annoying - by design it stops halfway through the cycle, meaning that you have to keep an active eye on it for when to push start again. If you get distracted and miss pushing start again, it will reset

Only problem I have found is that the 30 quick cook button you have to hit then press start after, making it not very quick. Yet other microwaves I have used you hit the 30 second quick cook button and it starts immediately. May sound trivial but it bugs me.

Well it's definitely 40Ltrs! It runs fine, not loud, zaps fine. The only downfalls is the viewing window is quite dark and the buttons are a little stiff. Might just be breaking in the microwave but worth the mention. I do recommend it regardless.

I purchased to replace LG 42L unit and had other Samsung products I was happy with. Touch buttons need some force vs soft touch LG and unit is noisy. Controls are not intuitive. Like a unit from 10 years ago. Rubbish
