Replacing a fridge is often urgent and sudden - finding the right size / features is important. Changing from top to bottom mount can be daunting.. The Samsung 427L bottom mount looked good online, but you can’t really tell until it’s installed and working. My first new fridge in 15-20 years - my first bottom mount. And it’s OUTSTANDING - great capacity; NO noise in operation; annual estimate to run only $100 or so; bottom mount is GREAT - freezer drawers make the best use of available space, and make the frozen food SO easy to see and access. I couldn’t be happier with this fridge - great size for a small family / couple - highly recommended!

I was hesitant choosing a new fridge so i spoke to a product and shopping expert on samsung online chat. He was patient with all my queries and i finally decided on this. I chose it because of the smart features and can integrate it with my already established samsung smart home. It shows me everything about the fridge like degree of lighting, how much Kw its spending, temp adjustment and more. I chose this size because old fridge was same size and exactly fits the fridge compartment in our kitchen. Other than that it functions as a normal fridge and freezer and does that well.

People say a fridge is a fridge, doesnt matter what brand it is and what it does, its meant to cool and freeze. Well i disagree with this. Coming from a old fridge that firstly is extremely noisy that you can hear it from the back yard and also no cooling efficency and a power drainer we decided to buy a new one and settled on a samusng smart fridge. It was a good decision. Now fridge is barely noticable in terms of noise, it has a good energy rating and its efficient in cooling. The smart features are a bonus too for the price we paid. We love our new fridge and would like to thank samsung sincerly for such a great fridge.

I'm totally in love with this fridge! It's huge, the lighting is great, especially up top – it gets so bright. The light comes on gradually when you open it, which is a nice touch. The display's awesome; you can see the temp and change the alarm and stuff. It's frost-free, quiet, and works perfectly. The freezer's amazing for quick freezing. Plus, you can fold the glass shelf to fit big stuff after a party – that Samsung flexibility is killer. And get this – SmartThings! I control the lights, temp, and alarm from my phone, and it even alerts me on phone if I leave the door open.

We’ve had this fridge (in matte black steel) for just over a month now and have been really happy with it. It looks modern and stylish in our kitchen, and even though it’s spacious enough for our family of four, it doesn’t feel oversized. One thing we noticed straight away is how quiet it is. Being able to adjust the temperature, lighting, and sound from our phone, as well as keep an eye on energy usage, are really cool smart features. The build quality feels solid, and the shelves are laid out really well, making it easy to organise and store food. Overall, it’s been a great purchase and we’re really satisfied with it.

I bought this fridge on 15/01/26 so I have had it for one month now and I can tell you that it makes a terrible whining noise. I do not recommend this fridge. If I knew this before I would not have bought it. It is very annoying! Everything else about the fridge is fine. The black colour is nice.

I bought this fridge less than a month ago, and I’m absolutely in awe of how amazing it is! The design is sleek and modern, making my kitchen look even better. When we arrived from overseas we did not have much time to shop around for a fridge. Having owned samsung in Malaysia, we decided fo stick with the brand. We hoped on the website and bought this. We are not dissapointed. Enough fridge space for the family. Chills our food. I can put my large wok in it while i prepare other food. It does not make any annoying sounds. Freezer fits large items like tubs of 2L ice cream and larger packs of frozen food. We are so happy with it and made a good decision sticking my samsung.

After our other brand fridge dying after 2 years we bought this one based on out research that it saves electricity and is efficient. We also wanted a larger fridge to reduce shopping time. This fitted the budget. It suited our decor. It was spacious and has many useful features. We also noticed our electricity bill was slightly lower. Its also very quiet at night, not like our old one that sounded like an angry fridge. We are happy with our purchace ans would recommend any samaung appliance any time of the day.

Already into my cart. This fridge just fits in our new apartment. We consider bigger one but, in view of energy consumption, we take this model instead. Silver is ok, but black looks modern. However, in consideration of paying extra, I would rather take silver colour.

Simple medium sized fridge that will impress any family looking to upgrade. It has a overall capacity of 427L divided between the fridge and freezer. I think it would be sufficient for a family up to 5. It already has 3 awards so you know its a fridge you could trust. It is sleek , elegant and will present as a nice addition to any kitchen. It cools food evenly inside the fridge so it wont spoil. It has strong led lighting which is great for dim kitchens. It has a reversable door design so you can adjust as needed. Freezer has 3 drawers and rapid freeze feature is eworking well.

Fridge Works ok no idea why it has to have wifi I bought 2 of these to have side by side. These fridges has a wine and a ringing that gave the whole house hold a migraine and noone could figure out why ungil a few friends came to stay. as soon as i turned them off all of out headaches went away. what a waste of money that was.

We've had this fridge for a couple of weeks now, and it's been fantastic. So much quieter than our old fridge! The design is very sleek and stylish, and even though it occupies similar physical dimensions to our previous fridge, thanks to advancements in technology it has a greater capacity. The adjustable shelves in the fridge and on the door are very versatile. Although please note that unless you remove a shelf you will not be able to stand up a cider/beer bottle in the main fridge - these will need to go on the door. That's the only drawback so far (and the reason for four stars on design). The freezer is great, and the drawers are capable of holding a significant volume of items. Would definitely recommend!

I recently purchased the Samsung refrigerator in silver, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The sleek, stylish design fits perfectly in my kitchen, adding a modern touch to the space. We managed to score this fridge on a sale for a good price. I chose this color because dust shows on black or white . Its chills really fast and keeps our fruit and veggies nice and fresh. The freezer is of decent size, however i wish they made it a tad larger. The freezer is frost free and temp is adjustable but we have it a minus 18. It fits large pots too when im lazy to empty out the food in containers.

Loving this fridge so far, it was a big space upgrade from my last one but was one of a handful of fridges that actually fit in the specific fridge nook in my rental property. Some great features and functions that are usable with the Smart Things app, love how classy it looks, and it's pretty decently energy efficient. Only thing is the 2-part folding shelf is a little flimsy and not the most user friendly, but not a dealbreaker and I'm sure it'll be useful when we need some more space - it's just not as usable as the standard glass shelf.

We purchased the Samsung SRL4200B less than two weeks ago during the EOFY promotion and were delighted to get it at a great price. Although we’ve only owned it for a short time, my aunt has had the same model for several years and has been extremely happy with its reliability, which gave us added confidence in choosing it. It turned out to be the perfect size for our kitchen, fitting our existing fridge cavity without any modifications. We also love the brushed black finish, which gives the kitchen a modern, premium look, while the bright white LED lighting makes it easy to find everything inside. One feature we’ve particularly appreciated is the ability to independently control the fridge and freezer temperatures using the digital display. Had this fridge a few weeks now and very happy so far. Bought because it was the only reasonable size fridge, with great energy rating, that fit into my kitchen alcove. It is almost identical in size and layout to my old (‘other branded’) fridge, but somehow the internal capacity is so much better. I.e door and shelving storage looks the same, yet holds far more. Also pleased that the 2cm shorter height means I can now open the overhead kitchen cabinets. Happy days indeed. I would have opted for the cheaper priced silver model, but it was sold out. Lucky me, as the black is fantastic. Finally have a fridge that looks good and has functional storage space. As always, Appliance Online service and delivery was brilliant. Saved my bacon. Thanks AO.

He is tech savvy so he chose a smart fridge so we can control it within the app. It cools well and keeps our food fresh. Our old fridge had a top freezer but after owning this, i think i preffer bottom freezer because it fits plenty of food. It is not make much noise and cools well Thank you father in law and samsung

I bought this a few days ago. On unwrapping, the front of the refrigeration door has a dent in it. Hopefully Samsung and the retailer it was bought from will be able to solve the issue. I had to accept the item as it was rather than wait for a replacement since this was an emergency purchase after my previous system had died and much food needed to be saved. The system itself appears to be working well, the fridge and freezer were fast in chilling. The freezer drawer is a good way to store and easily retrieve items.

Basic features I wrongly assumed all fridges had, like a recessed grab handle on the side of the door, are inexplicably missing and make for an irritating user experience. Likewise the bottom freezer drawer doesn't pull out past half way making access to items at the back difficult. It also seems shorter than it needs to be, compromising internal space. Overall just a poorly designed product.

Its so good buying a new fridge. I has my previous one for a long time and one day i just said to myself its time for a new one. I already have sammy tv and mobile phone so i decided to stay in the ecosystem to take advantage of the smart features the fridge offers. I am not dissapointed at all and am very happy with my choice of fridge. Its one of the larger medium sized ones in the market but the way they designed the interior shelving makes it fit more food than you think, same applies to the freezer part.

Not so happy with the noise. Can hear the noise from 7m away. Especially for the first two days. Third day is better. The noise down but still can hear if close by. So I'm not sure for long term. Design inside is better compare to the other brand. Samsung more flexible and can adjust the height. Handle grip definitely not for a tall person. You need to bend to grip to open the door. There are moist or water drop stick on the fridge rubber and around the fridge. I exchange it with different brand in the end.

When i was ready to buy a new fridge, i jumped on a few websites to see what the market offers. When i browsed samsung i got a pop up message "Want exclusive offers? Talk to a Product & Shopping Expert now!" so i proceeded to talk to an expert. They are very knowledgable and they guided me until we chose this fridge. This is my our first purchase of an samsung fridge. A little apprehensive but Its a all round great refrigirator with cool features like keeping fog out but blowing excessive air out, and being able to control the fridge temp and lighting via wifi. The colour finish is the best of any appliance I had ever bought and much easier to clean than regular white. Its a large fridge with a reasonable size freezer. Keeps my veges i buy weekly tasting crispy and fresh. Great service and delivery by samsung

Our old fridge died 2 weeks before Christmas, but we were able to replace it within 3 days from Samsung. The delivery process was quick and easy. The replacement fridge needed to slot into set smallish space and this one worked perfectly. The fridge is streamlined and has height adjustable shelves that work well for us. Easy to clean inside and out. Love the digital temperature readout on it and the warning beeps if the door is left open for too long. (excellent reminder for absent minded kids!)

Far more room in the fridge compared to my old Westinghouse, love the feel and colour. The bottom draw of the freezer though can't pull out far enough if the good inside are larger than the amount the door will open, (the basket is bigger than the allowance to open it), you can pull it further out but then it falls off the tracks on to the floor and has to be placed back on the rails. A bit frustrating. Still it is better than what I used to have. The recommended Freezer setting will make ice-cream rock hard, so you may want to adjust down a little. The ability to access via phone is nice, but I haven't yet figured out if I am missing something on the shopping list, it seems you just manually make a list like you do online at the supermarket. Would be good if could it scan the items and add the date.

Fridge is very suprising good but i rate 4 because i find it is look smaller than 427L. It also a tiny bit noisy every now and then when compresser turn on but no much worry. My husband connect to my smart home and now we can control fridge anywhere even from work, very good idea to add wifi to fridge and very smart from samsung. It is no frost fridge , i dont see any ice anymore not like old fridge always make ice. This is good fridge and high recommend it for every body.

My kichen tiles are black and gold and cupboard doors are black .To complete the design, i bought this fridge to blend in with the background . And yes it did. Looks great in my kitchen. I am also very satisfied with the size of the appliance @ 427L and the efficiency of the cooling, freezing and preservation of out food. Its backed by a long warranty and i reckon we paid a good price with a slight discount. The delivery guys even took my old fridge to recycle it.

I have been researching for a bottom mount refrigirator for a long time within a big enough freezer to suit my narrow kitchen in my studio appartment. This fridge works well for now, but unfortunately we were forced to purchase a brand new fridge, after Samsung Australia failed to support us and fix our last Samsung fridge that stopped working - claiming that there was no international warranty of products purchased in NZ. (even though it's exactly the same product). Samsung NZ asked us to bring the fridge into their service centre, which clearly wasn't going to work, given we were in now Melbourne.

I was having reservations about buying a samsung appliance. I have always owned samsung tvs and mobile phones but never an appliance. But i wanted the latest in fridge tech. So we decided to upgrade from a smaller fridge and to our suprise so much practical space in this fridge and it's so easy to store huge trays/dishes of food and of course lots of beer. Love the build quality, its so premium . Multiple family members share this fridge and there's plenty of fridge space for everyone to more or less separate their own food and drinks. With the twist ice maker, we can never run out of ice cubes so cold summer beer.

This samsung fridge is so cool because it has lots of cool features. It is huuuge compared to my last tiny one so im so excited evertime i fill it up witj healthy food and it always keeps the vegetables and fruit so krispy and with freshness. The freezer freezes super quickly which is good for the meat and chicken we buy. The drawers and shelves are organised really well and thats why we are able to fill it with lots of food. A good fridge with some drawbacks. The distance between the shelves means you cannot put large pots in the fridge. The door shelves could be organised better to create more space. The fridge can be a little vibrating at night , but its not too bad to disturb our sleep. The freezer takes a while to freeze meat and fish. I have noticed some condensation at times inside the fridge. I hope samsung can fix these in the next revision of this fridge

I bought this a month ago to replace an older Fisher Paykel fridge that had a lot of issues of late including cooling and incessant beeping at night. There were a lot of sleepless nights. What i like about this fridge is that it has wifi. You can use the wifi via smart things to monitor energy usage. It also gives you real time alerts and you can even control the lighting inside the fridge, that so insane. You also get an insane 20 year warranty on the compressor, thata how confident samsung are with the fridge. We alsi like the inclusion of the ice cube compartment in the freezer so you get your ice cubes with a twist.

Fridge that suits a big family. We are a family of 4 and the boys are all big eaters. So we need a large fridge to keep full so they dont starve. I was able to fit $400 of groceries in this. And still had space. I was amazed at hpw quickly the fridge was able to chill all the groceries in less than an hour, it must be the smart AI sensing and controlling the temprature. Overall, we do recommend this for anyone with a big family.

Refrigirator is average imho , thats why i rate it 3. I replaced my old one because my husband always complain its too loud and wakes him up at night. This one still makes loud sound at nighty. It has smart fridge features but i will never use them so not useful for me. It also sometimes has condensation on shelves so then i have to clean the fridge to remove it. But it does work as a fridge should do cooling and freezing food.

A fridge worth every penny. I was looking to replace an old fridge that was noisy and not cooling properly and one of my best friends recommended this. We bought it based on that. What a big difference from out old fridge. No more noise. Cools very well. Its a large size. Freezer has nice compartments. It is a smart fridge however have not used the smart features yet. Its a universal fit if you have a standard size kitchen.

Twist ice maker is a life saver. My husband like cold beer and sometimes he forgets to put in fridge so the ice maker is so handy. I like the matt silver color, it is easy to clean and does not leave fingerprint marks. It is very spacious inside with plenty of led lighting so you can see food clearly at night if you dont want to open the lights. Smart is awesome to have to as it gives me more control over the fridge.

I bought the Samsung refrigerator to fit the available small space in a rental. The phone app is very cool and the unit works a treat.. My only concern is the fridge leans back more than any other fridge I've had. Looks excessive and the available adjustment is limited.

I like thia fridge very so much. I also like the freeser very so much. Both are very much space and i like to fill them with all the food and drink i love to buy. It cools the things we buy very fast and keeps them cool. I like the ice cube trays inside the freezer because sometime when we have guest we need more ive to cool the drink. It is very nice color finish and so easy to clean. It is a very nice fridge.

This is a excellenr product choice. IT has great features that fits a lot more in it that you would expect. Great features and has an option of fast cooling which is supet help when you load the fridge with the newly purchased groceries. Very Quiet , Plenty Of Space, So Easy To Set Up, Works Well. After having a noisy fridge, this ones main bonus is its quietness. I don't hear the compressor at all.

I've only recently purchased this fridge so can't give it 5 stars yet. So far, it has done a great job keeping to temp and I love the app feature. Its also a great size for singles or couples. The only negatives I have is the ice drawer, I wish it was a little bigger to gold more ice cubes and the bottom shelf on the door is a bit of a waste to use for storage, there isn't enough room for large items

Good fridge, space and layout is good. Good mat black colour. Can’t fault it. It was delivered with the door already reversed which is so much more convenient! The only issue was installation which was done rather poorly, with the fridge tilted up significantly. I had to get my brother and father to help fix it in the end - turns out one of the adjustable leg wasn’t put on correctly.

We recently bought this fridge and it was a great deal. The fridge works perfectly as expected and is very quiet. We love the black colour that goes with our kitchen and Appliances Online, as usual provided amazing service. The first delivery of our fridge came damaged (in transit) and Appliances Online promptly rescheduled delivery for a new fridge two days later.

Bought it as I had to, quickly, without much attention to detail. The power plug should be flat not straight as it does not allow for the fridge to go 5cm deeper. The missing door handles are stupidity for the sake of slim design. I am using shower suck-on grab handle. The drawers system without guide rails is a cheap rubbish, have already lost some nerves on it.

I bought this 5 months ago and has been working really well. The best feature I always use is the folding shelf which helps in storing taller pots easily without completely repositioning the shelf each time. Used Samsung finance to order which was easy and smooth as well. The delivery was fast and careful. Overall buying and usage experience was good.

Powerful big fridge made by big manufacturer samsung electronics. Comes with 2 years warranty, we used it once and they came next day and fixed our fridge. Cooling and freezing is good. Has alot of space and shelves. Smart is helpful but not necessary. You can adjust temp zones manually. Looks like quality when compared to a cheap generic fridge.

I will have to rate this low. I have had some problem since buy this. It does not cool enough. Food is always cool but not cold. Even water is always cool, but i like my water cold. It also make loud motor sound. Maybe something wrong there. I contact samsung support and they will send tech to look at it , but customer service very helpful.

Im in love with my new refrigirator. I am upgrading after 10 years and i feel like this one has all the new tech in it. It has good energy star rating. I love the stainless steel look as it gives a nice glow to my cooking space. I do like how they designed the interior as it lets you store more food. All material seem of high quality. Thanks

So far very happy with the fridge freezer especially with smart control feature and when compressor warranty is 30 yrs! Service centre also effective and efficient with regards to 1 replacement inside door shelf that cracked upon delivery. My only other comment is that the in box/out box compressor warranties could be made clearer.

Several deficiencies: 1) Chosen by overall height, but then discovered that it is 5 cm shorter than the upper compartment in our previous fridge. 2) The shelves are pulled less smoothly than in our previous fridge 3) We did not appreciate that the absence of the door handle was inconvenient. Wifi capability is an unneeded gimmick.

The samsung refrigirator is genuinely fantastic I am so pleased with my purchase. We were a little concerned how good it would be for the price but it is perfect. Cools and freezes well and has a decent energy rating, definitely a good choice. It's incredibly spacious and looks really luxurious. Definitely worth the money

Our old fridge died and we bought this one in a hurry based on reviews. At first I thought it was a bit small on the inside but I actually really love the design. And it looks nice as well. I would prefer a dozen egg tray rather than 6 but that’s something we can easily replace. It’s super quiet and loving it so far!

The fridge is very good, although the door handle is not conveniently located. More importantly, the fridge was not levelled upon installation. A back corner leg is low and allows the fridge to lean back if pushed. So, it is balanced on 3 legs and needs shim to take up the slack, which I admit is not a major problem.

This is a really good fridge. I love the smart features and AI. Cools the food nicely and temp is accurate. The size will fit a small kitchen as the fridge is not too bulky. The compressor is quiet. Fits alot of food. Freezer is a good size for family on 4. Guys delivered and unpacked it for ua which was a bonus.

A solid fridge with good storage and smart cooling. The bottom mount design makes it easy to grab fresh food without bending too much. Twin Cooling Plus keeps things fresh, and the fridge runs quietly. Energy-efficient and looks great in the kitchen. Freezer space could be a bit bigger, but overall, a great buy.

This is good fridge. Very large fit so many food. We chose samsung because all electronic samsung in house. Very good warranty, very good service, all very good. Fridge quiet and baby can sleep no interruption. Husband happy i can buy all his favourite food and all fit in fridge. Eveything cool very fast.

We liked this fridge because it was spacious and allowed us to do shopping once a fortnight. It also looks good and enhances the decor of our kitchen. It has smart features that are very useful. Had the new unit for 3 weeks now and we are very pleased. It is our first bottom mount refrigerator and we will not be going back to a top mount unit. The ice maker is far better than our old appliance and I appreciate the ability to manage the compartmnet temperatureswith thr "Smart Things" app

I am so happy with this refrigerator, it looks small on the outside but has so much room on the inside, it is deeper and broader than I thought. Also, it has a great capacity for the door. It runs quietly and has a large vegetable compartment. I am also pleased with the freezer and its ice maker.

We bought this approximately 3 months ago. Its bigger than our previous Fridge, has so much more space in it and I still haven't managed to fill it up full. The only down for me is the fridge door handle being underneath with the freezer handle, would of liked an indent on the side.

Fridge is well built and has a stylish design. Came with egg holder which we will probably not use because we prefer to keep our eggs in their cardboard container. Would have liked to see some variable draw options for the freezer. Overall very happy with the purchase.

4 Weeks into ownership and I know I chose a great fridge. Roomy interior with smart storage ideas (see folding lower shelf), the fridge is quiet and frugal to run. The door is robust but not heavy. I would recommend this fridge,I think it's a real looker too.

I bought this fridge a month ago for our family of 4 with 2 young children. We were limited to this size by our fridge cavity however find it spacious enough. Modern clean appearance and functions as expected. Note only 1 fruit/veg drawer and no wine rack.

We needed a fridge. We bought this. Compact size. Excellent build quality. Spacious inside. Quiet operation. Good price. Good energy star rating. Keeps food chilled. Freezer is bottom mount so fits more than traditional fridge. Good customer service

I would say this appliance is average at best. It cools and freezes as per specifications and have some kind of smart functions but its still too noisy for the house. I wish it was less noisy then i would give it 4 star review but it is what it is

I recently moved and my existing refrigerator wouldn’t fit the new space. The SRL4200S fits perfectly. So quite I have open it to make sure it’s on. Plenty of space in the fridge and freezer compartments. I would recommend this fridge.

I’m impressed with the clean appearance, without handles on the front. Both the fridge & freezer are easy to open with hidden finger pulls. Spacious interior & twist ice maker is great.

I live this fridge. I have a bad back and find the bottom freezer draws much easier. Its shelves are light weight and easier for me to remove for cleaning. Very quiet and cold

Good product for the Price. has all the features and plenty of room for food and drinks having a ice maker tray is a big bonus when most brands don't offer that anymore

I haven't had the fridge long enough to give an accurate review of its performance, but the finish is better than I expected (the silver colour is a brushed stainless steel look). It looks and seems good. I was expecting a light in the freezer too, but there isn't one. However, I was not impressed with the way it was packaged (or delivered). Samsung needs to become more environmentally aware! There was a huge amount of polystyrene around the fridge – corrugated cardboard is a far better alternative. Also, getting it off the polystyrene base packaging would be impossible for someone on their own (it wasn't easy even with two of us). The delivery was by two men in a hired van (not very professional!) who brought it into my kitchen. A better solution by Samsung would be to have the delivery people unwrap the fridge and take away the packaging for recycling, as polystyrene can only be recycled in commercial quantities (that a consumer has no access to). That would also solve the difficulty of getting the fridge off its base packaging. I now have a huge amount of polystyrene that I can only slowly put in my bin, destined for landfill. Not satisfactory! Also, on the SmartThings app, it only displays the set temperature, not the actual temperature of the fridge and freezer. Surely one of the main purposes of the app is to check that the fridge is at the right temperature, which it fails to do!
