Bought brand new in 2013, Fridge section stopped cooling as ice formed in the back area from where the cool air is blown due to dodgy sensor.. got the whole fridge replaced in 2016 and in 2 months same problem, got the parts replaced this time. Fast forward 2021, same problem again and this time according to samsung not in warranty.. and what i find out from the engineer samsung has improved the part and also instructed engineer to move the sensor. So they know of the problem they have a different fix now but they want to charge the customer for it.. stay clear...

We owned a Samsung fridge with water filter for 17yrs prior and it is still going well and was gifted to my parents as a spare fridge for use when we updated to this new Samsung fridge. We took a look at other brands with similar configuration, but competitors had plastic shelving and were less practical. We like the glass shelves Samsung offers and the door shelves are more practical in layout and sizes. Easy to clean with less marking by fingerprints, and the ergonomic handles for freezer and top drawer are gentle for the wrists. The motor is VERY quiet compared to a similar model of Westinghouse that we trialled. We are thrilled to own a Samsung fridge again.

I purchased this fridge from new. Nothing but issues. Ice maker stopped working and every two weeks it ices up and needs defrosting. I've had it "repaired" four times. Called Samsung as I'm absolutely jack of this. All they can offer is another friggen repair. Samsung need to take some ownership of the garbage they are producing. Taking this further

Ice machine stopped working after about 18 months of purchase, Samsung were no help as only 12 month warranty. I purchased new part to repair myself and it lasted just over 12 months also. New part installed again and now constantly freezing over rendering it useless again. Freezer seals don't make contact all the time, so the compartment freezes over. Rust on door where water drips from water dispenser. Seems crazy to need to buy a new fridge after only 3 years, gone are the days where you would get 10+ years out of an appliance. Same happened with our samsung microwave, wouldn't but their appliances again.

Bought this fridge 3 years ago and have had 3 service calls because of the fan freezing in the ice maker. I have the opportunity under extended warranty to replace the fridge for the newer model. How do I know wether it will have the same problem. I love the fridge but very unhappy with this fault.

after 2 years we have an icemaker that after 2 calls still doesn't work, the shelves got very brittle and the bottom shelf is cracked badly the water leaks out under the stainless steel affect outer , leaving a blistered look this is the second Samsung refrigerator we have had over 8 years and i don't think i will buy another, very short life

We bought this fridge about 5 years ago. 2 years in and issues started. I have manually defrosted the ice maker countless times and have had to reset it so many times. The ice maker leaks like a dripping tap both in the fridge and under the water dispenser. Now the fridge has stopped working and I have packed what I could into a portable fridge freezer until I can get a repair person out. This thing has given us way too many dramas - won’t buy Samsung again.

Had this 4 weeks. main reason was the dimensions fit perfectly but very happy with it. Quiet when in operation. The odd ice cube drop noise when the ice-maker is on but quieter than the JennAir we had before. It has WiFi so the online app tells you the fridge and freezer temp, how many times the doors/draws are open, the daily power consumption and you can turn on/off the ice-maker or set the system to power cool. It also alarms you if the door is left open. The only negative I can think of is that the fridge doors are very lightweight so you have to shut them rather than swing them to close themselves. Although not advertised Samsung has told me there is a 10 year warranty on the compressor. Cost was approx $2,431 plus extra 1% off via Cashrewards

Just bought this fridge recently. I was a bit worry about all the negative reviews I read online but took the plunge anyway. So far I love it. Much more spacious than my previous fridge, also a Samsung. I love the WiFi function of the fridge, it connects to the SmartThings app on my phone and alert me if the fridge door is left open (with two little kids and elderly parents at home, this happen quite often). It also let you monitor the fridge temperature and also let you set the fridge temperature as well.... great features.

Same as everyone else, bought this fridge about 6 years ago and it lasted about 2 years before having problems with the ice maker. About every 2 weeks it has to be pulled apart and defrosted and the fan constantly makes a loud noise. Have had it repaired twice and as usual as soon as the warranty runs out thats it. Do not buy.

The service was great from the team. They had to get the new fridge upstairs which was a challenge in itself - but they were great (team of 4 to do this) at no extra cost - so thank you. However bit disappointed with the actual Samsung fridge. The water dispenser does not flow. The water is a very painfully slow trickle. Have put in a maintenance request but still waiting. I'm sure once this is resolved it will be great. Love the look of the fridge and heaps of room inside.

So far so good. Great value for money, best price for this model. We updated from our old Samsung fridge with water (plumbed) & ice that we had for over 13 years (it was till working, but too small), and decided to stick with another Samsung. This was exceptional value through AO, and it was delivered, unwrapped, and installed buy a couple of really nice guys. l would recommend purchasing through AO for all house appliances, as they offer extra warranties.

My fridge is 6 years old and have not had ice for probably the past 4 years after having numerous technicians coming to "fix" the problem. Can only get it to work with a hairdryer and considering the price paid this is just not acceptable. The reason why I came to the site was to look how I can decrease the fridge temperature because water from the water dispenser isn't cold either.

We bought this fridge 6 years ago and it has ceased working all together, We like others have had to constantly defrost the fridge to get the fan to work- and had the thermostat replaced a month ago. Now it does not work at all. Its wonderful to have to throw out your Easter seafood and all your frozen food on good friday. The layout of the fridge is fantastic , it is a shame about its shortcomings

We have on e of these fridges. It has been fixed many times when under warranty but continues to be a lemon. The freezer drawers do not slide. The ice maker freezes up and does not dispense.That caused the ice maker to break which is then considered physical damage and not covered. It is by far the worst fridge we have ever purchased

I bought this fridge a couple of days before Christmas on Appliances on Line had it delivered and installed in no time. Super friendly and helpful delivery guys and customer service. Love the mid drawer feature, keeps the wine chilled and a great to reach height for the grandkids to reach their drinks and snacks.

I bought this fridge three years ago, and was very happy with it for the first 12 months. Then it started to have issues with the fan. A very quiet fridge turned into one that was constantly icing up and causing a grinding noise. I am disappointed as we were particularly fond of the design.

We purchased our Samsung about a year ago. Water constantly drips from the icemaker to the extent that we need to have a cloth sitting there to soak up the water. We have had other Samsung fridges that never had this problem. Love all the features, just a shame they dont work properly.

Bought this fridge as we had a few family members who had this fridge with the 'drink draw' and didn't want anything else. We love the 'drink draw' as well as the spacious fridge. The freezer has 2 draws which also has plenty of room. We love the french doors and the whole look.

Great Fridge / Freezer easy to use double the space of our old Whirlpool French door. The service from Appliance Online is fantastic orderd 8pm delivered by 9 am next day fully installed removed old fridge and took all the rubbish free of charge brilliant highly recommend

This refrigerator is replacing my old units of a pigeon pair - one all refrigerator and it's twin all freezer. I am still adjusting to the smaller amount of space available to me now. The unit itself is lovely and it keeps its temperature and it is quiet.

Replaced my Jen-air fridge due multiple failures and lack of parts availability. The Samsung was the only one that fitted nicely into the kitchen frame. All working well so far. I was happy with the deal from appliance on line.

I rate this fridge 5 stars because it’s well built, good quality and worth it’s price. I like the sizing of it and how it looks on both the inside and out. Overall I love this fridge and it’s extremely helpful for me.

I bought this a month ago and absolutely love it. Everything fits, lots of different shelves for all the different groceries/bottles and its so easy to clean. Saved on space as the water/ice dispenser is amazing!

Looks great. Ice maker constantly freezes up. No ice is dispensed. I have had 3 repairmen out to fix it. Ice Maker freezes up again within days. Repair men agree that this fridge is a $3000 lemon.

We’ve had it a month now. Much better than the Westinghouse equivalent. Love the customisable drawer which we use for drinks. Doors are light and easy to use. Water features are great too.
