I have owned and used many dryers in my lifetime and this by far has been the worst. From the first use it would not fully dry clothes, but I put up with it and made sure I took good care by cleaning the filter and emptying the water every cycle. Now it takes 3-4 cycles to dry a 6kg load. There is water condensed on the inside of the door panel and clothes remain wet. Regardless of which setting I use, it doesn’t work. I’ve cleaned the sensors, and used the brush to clean the grill as instructed. I don’t know if it’s the brand or the technology, but either way it will need replacing.

I bought this just over 18 months ago, it's great, I have it hooked up to drain with a hose so no issues with emptying the water cannister - it works really well, sometimes heavy sheets stay a little damp but that's all dryers, unless they're too harsh. I find this doesn't shrink good quality clothes but you do need to be mindful as with any dryer. I suffer from dust mite allergies and asthma which other dryers releasing dust and humidity didn't help, and the dryer really helps with this. Only weird thing is that when stacked with my matching washer the doors open opposite ways lol.

Our Electrolux heat pump dryer stopped working after 4yrs, but our Samsung clothing machine is still going strong. So based on that we brought this dryer, my wife said its a much better dryer, quieter, less moisture in the laundry and drys the clothes to perfection. The AI setup works well and the Wifi app is a bonuses

Brought this dryer with washing machine which can stack on. Use stack kits. Works amazing.Quiet. Easy to maintaining. Black colour looks great !!! Other brand had black colour too but this dryer is budget friendly than the others!!!

I bought this a week ago but can say compared to my other heat pump dryer which wasnt a samsung product by the way, it is awesome it drys much quicker and finishes when it says it will finish, I'm not sure if it has a sensor in it as I'm still exploring but so far so good. And the aded WiFi that you can control on your phone while your out is an added bonus, it also let me knows when the cycle is finished on my TV so there goes relying on someone else in the household to empty the contents for u

Love our new dryer, it's quiet and very energy efficient, drys well and the samsung home app is very easy to use if you want to monitor your machine. Only thing I would add is to hook the dryer upto a water drain hose to save yourself emptying the water canister. I haven't done that yet Its really easy to pour out the water container into the sink, that will be a summer job, for more efficiency!! :)

Love this dryer, it's big enough to fit the entire wash load in . It is incredibly quiet, stacked on top of the washer there is no vibrations. Dries really well and uses very little energy. I love the look as well. Only downside is it scratches easily, I have a scratch on the door already. I found the same problem with my washing machine, maybe it is because they are black?

Always had vented dryers before - never again! I am so, so happy with my heat pump dryer. Its really easy to pull out the tray and I'm always amazed by how much moisture hasn't gone in to the laundry. All the options are great and I can really tell the difference with the towel mode. Also if you are interested, the wi-fi connection to my phone has been a nice feature too.

I bought this recently due to weeks of rain. I prefer to dry clothes outdoors but need the convenience of a dryer. The 8kg model is a fantastic size and the unit is very sturdy and quiet. There are many cycle options and I love the AI function which is efficient and smart. This dryer exceeded my expectations and I am pleased I didn't go for cheaper option.

Great dryer with easy to use functions. Connects to your phone and smart devices throughout your home for up to date information on when it's done or cycle settings. Lint trap is easy to clean and can either plum the water drainage like a washing machine or still use the catcher. Fantastic product would recommend 👌

I bought this 10mths ago. I was originally happy with it. Now it has a terrible smell. I empty the water tank, as well as clean the filters. I've also started putting fabric softner dryer sheets to stop the stale smell. Other dryers I've had in the past which weren't heat pump dryers never had a smell like this

Overall it’s a good dryer that looks good too. It is quite noisey and there is a bug with the SmartThing setup that means you need to power it off after first power up for the WiFi connectivity to work (a real issue for me as I have no access to the power socket without pulling out both my washer and dryer).

Dries clothes with ease, and it’s a very well-made product. Did a lot of research before buying this, and I’m pleased with the result. Don’t get this if you want to use the app though, it’s touchy as, and it’s hit and miss to set up. The app is pretty useless though.

Very happy with this dryer. It is a bit different being a heat pump dryer so you have to take this into account when you are getting used to it. It is going to save me money which I like and no need for heaps of ventilation which was my main reason for buying it.

I bought this a few months ago and I have nothing but good things to say about. Love the AI feature where it weighs the clothes and decides how long it will take to dry the load. The lint trapper is great at trapping all the cat hair on our sheets too.

I bought this dryer couple of months ago. It has worked as intended for the clothing. However, linen still comes wet and needs more than a cycle. Plus linen and pillows case all gets in to a ball and tangled. Need some time to sort it.

I bought this mostly to dry sheets and all it does is roll them into a ball, so they can’t dry, you can put one or two or three or five sheets and the same thing happens dryer balls don’t do much - I’m thinking of sending it back

I bought this dryer in January 2024 OMG it is wonderful. I really love the wrinkle free function. Drys the clothes so well and they are so soft. Amazing

We've been using this dryer for nearly two months and we love it. Excellent dryer. A breeze to install, simple to use, and does the job. Our European laundry is a bit squeezy and we weren't keen on placing the dryer on top of our washing machine and while we were initially concerned about placing the dryer in a room with no drainage, the water collection reservoir is large enough to collect water for one drying cycle, possibly two, depending on how dry the clothes were out of the washing machine. Cleaning the filter and clearing the water reservoir are so simple. The machine is quiet, doesn't cause any condensation, doesn't vibrate, or get too warm on the outside. Brilliant. We use mainly the AI Drying option, and for our use, that generally takes a little over one hour. We've tried the Delicates cycle as well, and that seemed to keep changing as the clothes were drying, and that was a little inconvenient if you're planning your day around when the machine stops and it keeps going even though it's supposed to be done 10 minutes ago. Everything dries perfectly, except for larger items like cotton bedsheets and quilt covers. I find I need to repeat the cycle with sheets even after using the AI option. Overall, though, this has been such a timesaver and we love having a dryer. Haven't tried the app yet, but looking forward to it.
