We took our time to decide on our replacement washing machine and our new Samsung 9Kg front loader is just perfect. Ordered online from Samsung direct, the machine was delivered and the old one taken away, four days later. Installation was easy guided by the installation guide supplied with the machine, we knew we had a winner after the first wash, this is the best front loader we've ever had and I totally recommend this machine. With a wide range of pre-set washes, cold, warm, and hot, and the ability to set your own washed the flexibility is excellent. One other point, you only need to connect this machine to a cold water feed, no hot feed required!

Seems ok, just wish I could find out what some of the buttons do. The only manual online for this model is generic and shows a completely different control panel with a manual round dial that isnt on my newer model. Samsung you no longer provide a proper printed hard copy manual, so surely you can update the digital one so that it is accurate and reflects the exact model.

Positives: It has many washing cycles. Its extremely quiet when on. Hardly any noise when it spin cycles. Sends a text to your phone when its completed. Negatives: Touch screen buttons, so you have to hit it in the right spot to actual turn it on or off. The cycle options only allow for a minimal amount of washing load, even though its a 9kg machine. We have 4 kids, so brought this with the hope it would be good for us, but having wash cycles that allow you to only wash a small 2-5kgs at a time for specific loads, its just a waste of time/water/power

If I could give this Samsung washer dryer ZERO stars, I would. We’ve had it for less than a year and already had two major leaks. The most recent one (just two weeks ago) was catastrophic. It leaked so much water that it flooded my entire house, ruining my carpets, damaging other appliances and leaving us with a huge mess and expense to deal with. This product is a complete nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. The experience has been nothing short of disgusting. Samsung support is just as bad as the machine itself. You have to chase them over and over before anyone bothers to actually do something. They finally offered me a refund or store credit, but I’m still waiting for it to be processed, it’s been 5 days already. Meanwhile, we’re stuck without a washing machine, with piles of dirty laundry, destroyed belongings, and zero resolution in sight. The support team act like they don’t even want to do their jobs. It’s beyond frustrating, it feels like Samsung simply doesn’t care about their customers. Wake up, Samsung. This is NOT how you treat people. Avoid this washer dryer at all costs.

I bought this washing machine 3 weeks ago, it was delivered very quickly and easy to install (except the hose was a little short but my husband got an extender which did the trick). It washes cloths well and easy to pick the settings, and has all the smart features like you can turn it on with your phone when you are away. The only thing we find is it does not do very small load well, we just wanted to wash our toddler's sleepsuit by itself but it just keeps spinning and spinning and still doesn't dry up.

so I've been using this 9kg smart front loader for a bit now, and it's pretty solid. The steam wash cycle is a definite plus for getting stuff really clean and fresh, especially for those slightly stubborn clothes. The smart features are handy for starting a load when I'm out, though I don't use them every time. It washes well and handles big loads easily. My only minor gripe is the cycle times can be a bit long, but overall, it gets the job done without much fuss.

The good things first: Easy to operate, quiet washing, quiet spinning (after 2 levelling attempts). In short, great performance. I got a good deal online through Retravision too. Now, the bad and the ugly: The most important step in installation is levelling. But the instructions, both on pdf and online, are flimsy and confusing. No wonder a good number of users complain about spinning noise and vibrations (For those who have this problem, suggest you level the darn thing again). The first problem I had was, out of the box, the lock nuts stuck with the rubber levelling feet. When a lock nut was turned, the rubber foot moved in tandem. I had to use a plier wrench (can use locking pliers) to hold the rubber foot while turning the lock nut to separate them. Here's my note: Turn lock nut clockwise to loosen, counterclockwise to tighten. Turn levelling foot clockwise to extend/raise, counterclockwise to lower. When levelling is complete, tighten lock nut by hand first, then tighten with spanner. Levelling was completed, front back left right. Spinning sounded fine. However, problem was not over yet. After using the machine for a week, its components settled and the level was out of whack again. Had to do the levelling one more time. Finally everything is all OK :-)

I recently purchased this product. The online experience and delivery was seamless. The washer was fitted and the old one taken away completely hassle free. The machine is so easy to use, super effective in washing and most impressive is a just over 30 minute wash which gets most things clean fast and efficiently. I upgraded from a 7.5kg to a 9kg and while I may never use it to that weight, the extra size does make it so much easier and efficacious.

I love the integration with Smartthings (it set itself up on Smartthings, not sure how, but it was easy), allowing me to setup the wash on my phone with ease and monitor its progress and then Alexa annouces when the wash is complete so it doesnt sit around in the machine for hours. The machine is so quiet even on full spin and a lot more efficient than my old machine which saves on electicity.

I was delighted to receive my new 9kg Samsung bespoke AI washing machine. This is my second samsung washing machine, the other is an 11kg but its not "smart" and i dont normally have a full load for that. I love that this one uses the smart things app where i can choose the program and tweak the temperature, spin speeds and number of rinses on my phone. It allows me to search for the most appropriate cycle for the fabrics I want to wash and send the program to the machine. The machine checks the load and adjusts timings to suit and the display shows time remaining for the program. There is a speed cycle that takes just 39 minutes which is great and a shorter 15minute quick wash. A cotton wash is done in under one and a half hours. The appearance is good and there is an audible signal when the program ends and the app also sends a notification. It is really quiet and my laundry has been washed well.

Have been using this washer for 2 months and it's fantastic. Delivery and installation was simple and quick (and I live in an apartment without a lift). I love the simply display, and all the cycle options (esp Cloudy Day cycle, perfect for winter). I also really enjoy the features you get when you connect the washer to SmartThings like getting notifications and viewing energy use.

I purchased this a month ago as a replacement for my old Samsung machine that lasted 8 years and worked very well. The machine says it has a 9kg load capacity which it does but only on certain programmes. The Eco wash takes a 9kg load but I am unsure how it can be eco as it takes nearly 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete. There is a speed wash about 45 mins but that only takes 5kg. The wash for bedding only takes a load of 2kg and is on for about 2 hours. I am not convinced that my duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillow cases don't weigh more than this which means splitting it into two loads (I am spending lots of time jumping on the scales weighing baskets of washing!). There is a time delay on the machine but this is controlled though an app om your mobile, not just simple press buttons like my old machine. Sadly after owning this for about a month I am not entirely happy with my new washing machine, hopefully this will improve.

I’ve been using the Samsung 9kg Smart Front Load Washer with Steam Wash for a few weeks now and it’s been great. It’s quiet, easy to use and the clothes come out really clean. The steam wash is a nice touch, helps with getting rid of wrinkles and feels more hygienic.

Early days but the 15 min and the 40 minute quick wash are really useful. The WiFi informing us of when the washing is done on a phone has now made our timer redundant. Only issue is the age old one of small socks getting caught in the door seal.
