Does Altitude affect Plasma TVs

Altitude does affect Plasma TVs. Plasma TVs do not operate properly above 6500 feet (approximately 1950 meters) and in most cases will buzz loudly at or above that altitude. Consequently, Samsung does not sell a Plasma TV designed to be used above 6500 feet.
