How do I run calibration mode on my Samsung washing machine

After your washing machine has been installed or moved it is advised to run Calibration Mode before starting a wash. This will calibrate the weight sensors in your machine to provide the best experience. 

 

The steps to activate Calibration Mode will differ depending on the washing machine model that you own. Follow the steps below that correspond to the buttons or display on your washing machine. You can find information and manuals for your specific model with Samsung Support

Please note: make sure that washing machine drum is empty and nothing is on top of the washing machine before running Calibration Mode

Using the Temp. and Delay End (+) buttonsClick to Expand
1 Turn the washing machine off and then on again
2 Hold down the Temp. and Delay End (+) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds

CB or CLB will appear on the display

Please note: if nothing appears on your display, turn off your washing machine and turn it back on while holding the Temp. and Delay End (+) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds

3 Press the Start/Pause button to begin Calibration Mode

The drum will rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise for about 3 minutes. When your washing machine has finished calibrating, 0 or End will appear on the display and the washing machine will turn off automatically.

Using the Prefer Mode or Smart Control buttonsClick to Expand
1 Turn the washing machine off and then on again
2 Press and hold Prefer Mode or Smart Control for 3 seconds
3 Use the Up/Down arrows to select Calibration
4 Press OK
5 Press the Start/Pause button to begin Calibration Mode

The washing machine door will lock and the drum will rotate clockwise and anticlockwise for several minutes. When your washing machine has finished calibrating, it will turn off automatically.

1 Tap Settings on your washing machines display
2 Tap Calibration
3 Tap Start
