Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Budget Tablet This tablet is absolutely amazing for the price, no lag whatsoever has run everything I have thrown at it without problem, feels solid and exceptionally well made, doesn't feel to big despite the glorious large screen. This tablet even sticks to the front of my fridge without any additional case, can watch TV, listen to music or follow a YouTube recipe by just placing it on the fridge door. I cannot recommend this tablet enough, great screen, enough ram to keep everything running, excellent battery life, and of course being able to plonk this on the fridge without a clunky case, absolutely excellent, this maybe my first Samsung product but it will not be the last. Exceptional, buy it you will not be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Value 10.1" Tablet 1) Price: Good 2) Performance: Good 3) Positioning of Speakers: Bad! 80 of the time, we use tablets HORIZONTALLY to play games and watch movies! What is the designer thinking?! 4) Need dual Sims!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Model Number in About Tablet (settings menu) I bought this tablet as a 2018 sm t 585 and in tne menu it stated Tab A (2016) as the model. That is 2 years difference in the dates. Why is that? Samsung were not very helpful when asked. If it states 2018 model it should surely be 2018 in the about tablet menu. This looks like miss-selling to me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Memory My issue with this tablet is the internal memory. I've bought a memory card thinking I can store every single app onto it, maybe except 1 or 2. A lot of the apps that come already onto the device can not store o to the memory card which socks as it takes up ALL of the device memory, which makes me unable to even download apps as it automatically stores onto the device memory. Another issue is the security, I have to enter my pin everything I want to unlock it, unlike other devices where they can simply do a fingerprint or push down on the home button to unlock the device. I therefore wouldn't recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful, just awful. I have had this tablet for a little over 6 months so have had plenty of time to see its strengths and weaknesses. Firstly the good points, the screen is a nice size and a definite step up from my previous Tab e. Now the bad points. It struggles at anything more than reading e books! Playing online games on it is so frustrating with the amount of lag it has coupled to the random loss of WiFi connection even if sat next to the router. Compared to my iPad and iPhone this is like playing games on an old BBC micro or Commodore 64. Also as mentioned by a previous reviewer, the touch sensitive buttons are a real pain and can ruin a game very easily. So in short I would definitely NOT recommend this tablet for anything other than a slightly bigger Kindle or expensive paperweight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design makes this a no-no I can't think what the designers were thinking of when they put buttons exactly where your hand will be if you're holding your tablet - result: deep in whatever activity, you twitch a muscle and that's the clue for your tablet to change pages, or whatever. Plus they're not back-lit, so you can find yourself watching a movie and wanting to adjust the sound - you have to fuss a bit to find the button and wham - your tablet takes this as a command to revert to the home page. Whatever amazing features it might otherwise have, I totally regret buying it.
