Dual Ring includes 2 concentric rings, which can be combined into one large 28cm zone* so you can cook with different pot sizes. Dual Ring even auto-selects** the best ring size to suit the cookware.

We upgraded from a 7 year old ceramic cook top and were totally blown away by this induction cook top's performance and ease of use. The features this model offers coupled with it's Value for money proposition is too hard to beat. Very sleek frame and almost bends in with our counter top which happens to be a deep black granite! The magnetic control knob, although gimmicky at first, is a real asset to have while operating the appliance, as it gives a more tactile surface to grip instead of touch sensitive controls - which are also available as backup. Overall I am very impressed with this cook top and very happy with our decision to buy.

This product replaced a 5-ring gas hob which operated well but cleaning it was a job in itself. The Samsung Flex is a revelation, so quick to heat up, very responsive and the clean up is a breeze. Worth the money for the time it saves cooking and cleaning, plus the bonus of how streamline it looks vs the bulk of the gas rings.
I recommended this product.

Responsiveness is instant, heating is far better than my previous Indesit hob, ceramic finish feels durable. Happy with my 5 years guarantee included, hopefully won't need to use it. Also connecting to my smartthings via wifi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't a cheap product and Samsung is normally a reliable brand. However, this product is a let down. It claims to be wifi and "Smart Things" enabled, but the functionality is so pointless, it's a gimmick, and definitely not worthy of the premium price tag. The "Smart" functionality is limited to viewing whether the appliance is on or off, and viewing how long is left on any timer you set. There is no control functionality whatsoever! You can't set a timer via the app, you can't edit an already running timer via the app, and you can't turn off the hob via the app either. Making it pretty redundant and non-functioning imo. How many people want to see that their hob is on or off when they should know that if they already started cooking? And the hob turns itself off automatically anyway if no pan is on, or if the power level isn't changed for some time! So like I said, the "Smart" claims by Samsung for this product is a gimmick. I also bought the NK24C9804WB hood to go with this hob. But the connectivity between the 2 isn't that good either. Moving on to the normal functionality of what you'd expect from a hob. It heats up pans very quickly. But my main gripe is with the flex zone plus. There are 4 joined heating zones which you're supposed to be able to control individually. In reality you can control the top 2 zones as one and the bottom 2 zones as one. So it's effectively like having a standard 4 ring hob. It says in the manual you can use the middle 2 zones, the top 3 zones, bottom 3 zones, or all 4 together. And you press a button to cycle through these various options, but there's no visual indicator to tell you which zones are on and which are not. So you're left guessing and hoping you selected the right option, or the hob has recognised that you have a compatible pan there. All in all, Samsung could've done so much better with the design of this product considering the price. 2 stars cause it looks sleek and I like the magnetic control knob, as opposed to a digital touch slider. And I didn't receive an incentive? (i.e. Received a free sample, Received compensation, or participated in a consumer research study).* but there's no other option than "YES" for thar question. Unless they're counting the 5 year guarantee as an incentive.
