The delivery team were brilliant. Unpacked everything installed and took away the old unit all without fuss. I have had the fridge/freezer for a little over a month now. The fridge internal shelving and drawers are well designed and feel like quality was in mind at design/construction. The freezer is just an empty box apart from the moveable ice making tray/device so it is easy to stack products. The temperatures set are accurate and constant and the lighting good. Doors close with a reassuring clunk (think Mercedes / Jaguar car doors) and seals good. Very happy so far with the Samsung 628L Top Mount Fridge/Freezer

Was good at the start, but the fridge is only 6 years old and for nearly two years years it has started freezing up at the back and leaks water. Every couple of months we have to take the bottom drawer out and wipe up all the water as it starts to leak out of the fridge. Tried to look up a YouTube video as there is a metal part that some people can get to help with the heating pipe to stop it freezing over. Once I defrosted the fridge and pulled the back off there wasn’t even a pipe to attach the little metal clip too. So I’m still left with a fridge that freezes up and leaks.

we initially wanted a smaller fridge but they were always on back order, and so we were offered this one. We are so glad we decided to accept this one. It is very large, the front door had to come off the hinges to get it in the house, but once in, it is brilliant. It holds everything we need and so much more... The quality is of a high standard. The only thing i dont like is the little alarm that goes off if you leave the door open to long.... This is annoying if you are packing away shopping or cleaning the fridge. Apart from that, love this fridge and highly recommend it.

I needed a new fridge and saw this. So I bought it and was happy with the size of it. Be prepared to take the doors off to get it through a normal door frame! It was easy enough to do and move by myself. Once turned on it made a loud noise up until it hit temperature and then has been silent ever since. The outside remains clean even with young children, there is so much usable space and the idea of converting the freezer to another chunk of fridge is very helpful. Id certainly recommend this product for any upgrading.

I've had this for approx 12 months. Excellent size for a family fridge. Do make sure you have measured your space and allowed room for door to open, it JUST fits in a regular fridge area. Loads of room, easy to keep clean.

Man is this a big deep fridge. Had literally only millimetres to spare getting this one in through our hallway and kitchen space. The black chrome looks incredible. Getting this fridge allowed me to down size to just this fridge to save on power. It feels solid as a rock. Only one thing, it makes lots and lots of different noises and its not exactly quiet about it. Funnily enough the manual even gives you run down of all the noises it makes and their volume. So far though, great fridge.

Ordered online Friday and was delivered Monday morning. No one else even had this in stock. So straight up i was pretty happy. The delivery guys took the fridge up to the kitch in our split level house and helped set it up ready for use. The fridge itself is great, looks sleek and stylishly, quiet amd heaps of room. Doesnt look that much bigger than the old 530l kelvinator but when you open it, there is a lot more room in both fridge and freezer section.. so far, very happy.

We purchased this to replace an older, smaller Samsung fridge that we had outgrown as a family. The reliability and design of these fridges is excellent, the older one never missed a beat in 15 years and the new one appears to be built the same way. It seals tightly, is spacious and internally adaptable, and cools and freezes quickly. Highly recommended if you have a large family but are too limited in fridge cavity space to install a larger double door fridge.

Over the years I've purchased many products and appliance from these guys and gals. Apart from the mostly unbeatable prices, what I really love is that delivery to our regional city is included, is very fast, is carefully handles by the courier, is installed by the courier, and they even take away the old unit if required. They also seemlessly handle warranty issues and replacement of a faulty item was no problem. This business is hard to fault.

I bought this fridge not quite a week ago and we already love it. Our old French door fridge stopped working. This was simple, spacious and was everything we need including the price ( affordable) I also love the options of making it a whole fridge- not just fridge freezer. Change which way the door open to suit where the fridge goes and the built in handles so I don’t have to replace them incase they break over time used!!

We absolutely love this fridge! I was looking for a full fridge as we didn’t need another freezer, but the only ones available were either too small or too expensive. The best thing about this Samsung is that you can turn the top freezer off and override it as a fridge! So we store all our drinks etc in the top part and then the rest of our food and veggies etc in the main body of the fridge. Fantastic design!! And it’s very sexy too! One thing to note that we have an older house and this thing is so big that we nearly didn’t get it through the front door. We had to take it out of the box and open the doors of the fridge…. Lots of pivoting later, we got it in, but it took three furniture removalists to do the job. Then it another struggle to get through the internal doorways. But, same deal, open fridge doors, pivot, done. I definitely recommend this fridge.

We bought this fridge about a month ago and we are super impressed with it! Love all the room the fridge and freezer has and especially love that we can remove the ice tray box if we want. There is so much space in the door for bottles and jars its perfect! Our lounge sits within 1.5m of the fridge and there's barley any sound at all, it runs so quietly. So far so good, would definitely recommend.

Only things which needs to be added in this fridge is More Shelves Specially in the door ....Not enough shelves no egg tray Need digital temperature .. there is no temperature to see ... over all i am happy ... Love the size, colour and it's so quiet .The stainless steel black exterior looks stylish, the interior is so roomy .Perfect size for a big family or monthly shop. The freezer section also has a ice maker that can be removed if needed. I find this fridge which is a replacement for a side by side 700L so much more practical and efficient to utilize.

One small complaint is the LED light inside the fridge, does not illuminate properly the rear of the fridge, but plenty of light towards the front. Really really good size!!! Very odd that theres nothing to cover the screw-feet at the bottom of the device. I’d expect better from a good quality brand such as this. This is not our permanent home/not a fancy new kitchen, but if it was I wouldn’t be happy with seeing the screw-legs (particularly the one on the huge side) so much.

Only problem is we had to take rear sliding door off to get in the house. It does NOT fit through a standard door frame. Delivery guy almost wouldn't leave it! Plenty of space inside.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and very happy with it. Just ensure that you can get it in the doorway as it would not fit through 3 possible access points on the front of the house, had to take it around the side of the house (remove a gas bottle) and then in through the back sliding door. Delivery service was excellent.

Solved the biggest problem for us, which was space. Looks great at the same time, so why the 4 star review? It's a little on the loud side when cooling, but becomes almost silent when it reaches the desired temperature. It's also listed as fingerprint resistant but do note that fingerprints still do show substantially.

Just love my new fridge, it is HUGE inside. Good lighting & shelf space. Only one problem is it doesn't sit upright level. It leans to one side but l will keep it, all l did was place small pieces of tile under the footings and levelled it up myself. I do recommend this fridge to anybody.

The doors have some kind of coating on them - this has already been scratched & seems to be peeling, which I am not impressed with. To remove items from the refrigerator I have to bend or squat down & when I straighten up I very often hit my head on the Freezer door which juts out.

Just bought this fridge and so far it is fantastic! The only thing I find odd is the leg adjuster thingy. I know technical right! The right side black wheel sticks out! Just looks weird. But alas a small thing! Love the size of the interior. Would recommend to anyone.

The fridge itself is superb. great size and looks sharp in the kitchen. If i had my time again i would probably go for the fridge on top and freezer at the bottom but that was my decision. the fridge itself is awesome, and i will probably use it as a fridge 100%.

So moved house old fridge didn’t fit so had to go looking for a new one. Stumbled across the Samsung black layered 599L fridge freezer looked great great price. Got it home all plugged in and set up its fantastic chills drinks and food fast and looks fantastic

Huge space in a reasonable price. Love the feature of changing freezer to fridge to have more space. As I have a separate Freezer so using top and bottom both as fridge which is very handy for a family with kids.

I love it, it's spacious, looks modern and matches our kitchen and it suits our needs well for 1 adult and 5 children. Only downside is that it's not fingerprint resistant but it's not a huge deal

I bought this item because my 526 litre Hisense stopped working properly and the seals had worn out a long time ago. Also the doors didn't close firmly enough. I chose the Samsung because it's a very large capacity fridge (I think it's one of the highest capacity top-mounts). It's also efficient (4-4.5 stars). Plus it's Samsung and it also has many great features (eg. at some point if we decide to get a separate chest freezer, we can turn the freezer compartment into a refrigerator at the touch of a button). The only problem with this fridge: too big to get through the front door. However I'd read some reviews where they said it could be passed through narrow doorways by taking off the fridge doors first. The delivery guys were kind enough to wait for a few minutes while I took the doors off outside and then brought it in. If you are buying this fridge, make sure to measure your doorways (mine was about 78 cm wide) and be prepared with some tools. The delivery guys won't necessarily have the tools to do it. You'll need a set of allen keys, philips screwdrivers of various sizes, and a wrench to get some bolts off. It will also help to download the manual beforehand so you can be prepared and so the delivery guys won't have to wait too long. Huge thanks to the delivery guys for being patient and not flipping out!
