I bought this fridge 2 years ago and two shelves shattered and I no longer have door inserts as they disintegrated. This is not a fridge for families to use. We haven’t been hard on it, in fact I really loved it when I first got it but it has literally fallen apart. Not a good buy. I bought a kelvinator for half the price 10 years ago and it’s still in one piece. Don’t get me wrong, I have a Samsung washer and dryer and they are brilliant. I thought because they were so hard wearing the fridge would be the same. I’m so disappointed. I will look into the cost of buying new door inserts and shelves but I’m guessing they’ll cost more than a new fridge. Super disappointed with this one.

We purchased this refrigerator a while back, and it has proven to be an incredible addition to our home. Its advanced cooling system keeps everything fresh for much longer than we expected, which has been a real game-changer. For instance, milk stays fresh for several days even past its expiration date, which speaks volumes about its efficiency. Not only does it help us reduce food waste, but it also ensures that everything stored inside maintains its quality and taste. This refrigerator has exceeded our expectations in both performance and reliability!

I purchased this fridge in mid-August 2025 and, from day one, the freezer has failed to reach proper freezing temperatures. Using a fridge/freezer thermometer, I confirmed that even on the maximum freezer setting, the temperature never drops below –12°C to –14°C. A standard freezer should reach approximately –20°C to –24°C. These readings were taken during winter and spring—not even the hotter months—so the performance is especially concerning. As a result, ice cream remains soft and partially melted, meat and higher-fat poultry don’t freeze solid, and seafood is effectively off the menu. I contacted Samsung support, and after four technician visits, no specific fault could be identified. Despite the repeated inspections, Samsung ultimately informed me that the appliance is operating “within specifications” and that no remedy will be provided. It appears that this model simply isn’t built to meet normal expectations, and I doubt it will cope with the Australian summer. As a long-time Samsung customer—with all my home appliances, from phones to TV, vacuum cleaner, and washer—it’s disappointing to write such a review. I genuinely wish I hadn’t been tempted by the secret flash sale and had kept my 12-year-old (also Samsung) fridge instead.

Lot of space great value for money good for small familiesBought this fridge about 6 months ago and its going great how ever the freezer flap door broke easy causing a ton of ice to form on the fridge freezer and drip on my food in the fridge part fine if your broke but I would recommend to get a regular fridge

This is the largest crisper I've seen in a fridge, love it! Top loading is great, the price of the fridge was good, too. I only wish the meat keeper was a slide-out drawer. It's a great little fridge that works!

Great fridge with a good compacy size for smaller spaces. Would definitely recommend if you have a slightly smaller fridge space that is efficient to use.
