Samsung Washer Rinse Temperatures

Last modified : Feb 27. 2019

Samsung washing machines generally rinse with cold water, although some models will rinse with hot or warm water if a high temperature cycle is chosen.

The washer may rinse with hot water if the hot and cold taps are connected the wrong way around. Check that the taps are connected to the correct input. Leaving a cold water input connected to a hot water tap will use more energy and potentially damage clothing that isn't supposed to be washed in high temperature water.

A washer that only has a cold tap input will heat water with a built in heater. If your machine doesn't have a hot water input but the machine is rinsing with hot water, please get in touch with our Samsung care experts on 1300 362 603 (Toll Free in Australia) or contact Samsung Live Chat Australia. We can organise a technician to come and inspect the machine for faults that may be causing a hot rinse cycle.
