Setting up Group Calls using Google Duo on my Samsung Phone

Setup Gorup Google Duo Video Call

Video calling with Google Duo on your Galaxy Phone connects faster with more clarity. You can now also create Group Calls quickly and easily via the Phone app. Follow the below guide to learn how to start Group calls using Google Duo.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. This function is currently only available on Galaxy devices operating on Android OS Version 10.0 (Q).

Prior to folowing the below guide ensure that you have set up Google Duo on your Galaxy Phone, check out our guide Video Calling from my Galaxy phone for step by step instructions. Also ensure that you are connected to a strong internet connection either using a Wi-Fi connection or your Mobile Data.

1 Launch the Phone app icon Phone app
Head into Phone app
2 Select Contacts
Select Contacts
3 Long press a contact to select then tap on other contacts to add to your Group Call
Tap and hold a contact to highlight then select other saved contacts
4 Select Duo icon Duo
Select Duo
5 You will then need to wait for your friends to join the Group Call

6 On your Friend's device tap on Join icon
On friend's device tap on Join
7 Once all your contacts have joined the Group Call, you will continue the Video Call
Group call in session
