Why is the picture displayed on a split screen on my DVD player?

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issues related to split screen on your DVD Player:

1 Press the Progressive button on the front panel of the DVD Player until the picture is correct. Chances are that the player is in Progressive Scan Mode and either the Television is not compatible with progressive scan or not connected properly to accept a progressive signal.
2 When the power has been interrupted or the DVD Player is set up for the first time, the default settings are restored. The default progressive is set.
3 Connect only the same video signal from the DVD Player to the Television (e.g. Component to Component, S-Video to S-Video, Analog to Analog).
4 You may be trying to watch a movie in 3D on a television or DVD Player that does not support 3D.
