Ghosting refers to when the image on the screen seems to be following itself around or is blurry at the edges.
Using a feature called Auto Motion Plus is best used when watching sporting events or shows that have fast moving images to reduce distorted or unclear colours on your Samsung TV.
If you are experiencing clouded effects while watching movies, it is best to have Auto Motion Plus turned off.
Below are some tips on how to reduce ghosting on your TV.
- Try connecting the TV to a different source (e.g. change HDMI ports.) to identify whether the issue is with the TV or the source.
- Power cycle both the TV and the source. Make sure to unplug the TV and the source from the power point, wait at least one minute before plugging and turning them back On.
- Check to see if your TV has the latest version of firmware. If not, update to the latest firmware.
- Reset the Picture Settings.
