Dryer stopped heating after 3 or 4 cycles. Service technician explained the heat pump has failed and needs to be replaced. I requested a replacement unit as it's basically brand new and I've been told that they will only repair When ordering the site said 2 weeks and it took 2 months to deliver, we ordered the washing machine and dryer pack so nearly 3k and haven't been able to dry out clothes for months now. Definitely would not recommend buying

I have had the dryer for about 18 months now and it’s okay for drying clothes. Okay, not great in any way. The main issue is it cannot handle a set of sheets. It rolls them into a bowl every single time. The inside of the ball is soaking wet, the outside is hot and dry. After months of back-and-forth, Samsung have advised that I must pay a technician to come and look at it. I’m heading to The department of fair trading. For the cost of this Dryer and supposed “AI smarts“ it should be a lot better than this and so should Samsung‘s response.

Deciding which heat pump drier to get was hard. There are posts online deriding every single option, but after comparing a lot of reviews I thought the Samsung was the best bet (and came in black). It is not a traditional drier, heat pumps take a bit longer to dry clothes but use hardly any energy (relatively). Other advantages are a water receptacle (so it doesn't need a plumbing connection to get rid of water), it does not heat or steam up the room, and has lots of smart features (which I don't use, but which ostensibly work as intended). Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because the heat exchanger needs to be cleaned of dust more often than I'd like. As a drier, it does exactly what I want.

I really wished I took note of the other reviews. Honestly one of the worst products I've ever purchased/used. It should be illegal for any business to sell products that just don't do what they're supposed to. The dryer is super difficult to use / select the correct drying intensity and time. Drying sheets is impossible, as there is no setting or scenario where the sheets don't get balled up into a really tight ball (one sheet, or many). You'll have to stop the dryer every ten minutes or so to take everything out, unwind, then put everything back in. Ten minutes, you'll need to do the same thing again. Even drying smaller items isn't great. Anything with a pull cord (eg: hoodie) will get caught in the lint filter (it has a series of triangles in the plastic) and again, will twist into a tight ball. This is a very poor product.

I had very bad experiences with old technology where i had to keep the ventilation/windows open to let all the steam out. But with this amazing technology and AI i can control my dryer on smartphone and don't even require leaving the vents on. Linking the hose directly to the drainage does all the job. Great Technology that saves time and energy.
I recommended this product.

So happy with my Samsung Bespoke AI Heat Pump Dryer! It comes with great features that I have found very useful. I connected it to the app and have turned off the notifications sounds from the dryer, instead I get a notification straight to my phone when the cycle is complete. It dries very fast and efficiently, much better than my last heat pump dryer (of a different brand). Bedding does not tangle. I am so happy with this purchase that I will be looking at Samsung first for my future appliance purchases as well.

This dryer with it's AI ability to determine how long a load needs to be run is fantastic. The heat pump technology is fantastic. Rather than create a lot of humidity in the laundry, the water gets captured and can be disposed of instead. This keeps the mould and musty smell out of the laundry.

Been using my dryer for 2 months and it's the best thing I've ever bought. Being able to wash & dry my clothes at any time, regardless of the weather, has been beyond convenient. I grew up being told to never use the dryer because it's so expensive to run, but this dryer costs me $1-$2 a week to use, running 4-5 loads. I also paid for delivery with installation, which I highly recommend if you can afford it.
I recommended this product.

I bought this dryer a week ago. I was worried about reviews concerning bed linen going into a ball and needing multiple cycles in the dryer. I washed bed linen and doona cover and put everything in dryer. I did check mid cycle and rearranged linen but it all came out dry at the end of the cycle. There are so many cycles to choose from and easy to use. I love the quietness of dryer.

One week ago this impressive dry, stacker shelf & a 12kg front loader was delivered directly from Samsung. An installation service option needs to be available as unpacking the units & lifting the dryer into place is a two person job. The dryers performance is outstanding and features everything I was expecting. Just beware of the inconvenience of installation.

This is the best dryer I have owned. In last 5 years have owned Miele & Bosch dryers. This is by far better. Actually dries the clothes the first time, time efficient. Would highly recommend if you are after a new dryer.

I'm really happy with my new dryer. It is a great size and can dry a big load of towels fairly quickly. Very easy to use and great results. It is so good not to have to worry about condensation in the laundry anymore.

Very happy with the Samsung heat pump dryer. It is very quiet. Its estimated time to complete is usually about 2.5 house but is finished in half that time. I like that I can turn off the beeps and tones too.

Not only is Appliance online cheaper to shop than anywhere else they also give you free next day delivery annnd they take packaging away plus your old appliance. The Samsung dryer is pretty good too.

I have experienced nothing but issue after issue with this dryer, despite the high end price! Throughout winter, it was impossible to get clothes to fully dry without running it for hours and hours and hours on multiple cycles in desperation to get my family of four’s clothes dry (I usually have to do at least two loads a day in our home). After all that drying, the thing that was persistently noted was a constant damp / mildew / mouldy odour that, no matter what I tried, either from the Samsung manual (NO, it is not th heat exchange - I have cleaned that MULTIPLE times, along with the lint trap AND using their self tub dry mode), I have never been able to eradicate. Which means that unfortunately for my family, we have the option of waiting endlessly for Landry to dry on clothing wracks around the house or put up with clothes that come out of the dryer smelling like wet dogs and / or mildew and mould. Needless to say, I am extremely unsatisfied with this product and I honestly think they should discontinue making it. I will never buy another Samsung laundry appliance again. I have the washer that goes with this and that deserve a 1 star review all of its own! DON’T BUY THIS DRYER!!!
