Bought the machine in Feb 2020. In May 2022, the drum bearings started to die and as the result the drum began to eat the rubber seal around the drum and door. The replacement of the seal is only a temporary solution and to replace the bearings one need to disassemble the entire machine (including the tub and the drum). This is the first machine I had that failed after just 2 years of use. I would expect better bearings being installed into a unit that is supposed to work for years (or at least make it much easier to maintain -- Samsung expect you to replace the entire back half of the tub instead of just the bearings).

Bought this item 4 months ago on my 2nd washer dryer and the front door has started leaking again i do not recommend this item i will be contacting Harvey Norman for a full refund - contacted Samsung and they would not give me a refund just a repair how can you justify that? I do not trust the system WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

With apartment living space can be an issue sometimes and its a luxury to have a laundry at all. My place is not the best for storage so i make use of my european laundry to store things away which is why i opted to try a washer and dryer combo. Im glad i did its the best thing i ever did. Not only does it wash everything perfect the first time if i forget to put something in the extra add door is pure luxury (im always forgetting stuff). My one little down fall is that there is no lint catcher and the lint sticks to the door etc until the next wash. Im ocd with cleaning so not a huge issue for most people im sure.

I bought this washer/dryer combo 2 years ago. The door has leaked the entire time. They eventually replaced the WHOLE door and a couple weeks later started leaking again. Dryer has had issues. I am so tired of calling every few months. I have done extra cleaning, wiping and small loads. It has not helped to stop it or stop it from starting again. Drying takes ages and doesn't dry clothes. It was my ignorance to think this was a good idea. Please consider your options. It is pricey and does not function responsibly :0). Samsung please consider the products you put out. Would love a separate washer and dryer due to the trauma and time I have spent with this one.

Excellent, I’ve used three of these for the past 6 months in two airbnb apartments. Absolutely fantastic. Completely drys 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 8 pillow cases to perfection not damp at all and to perfection 4 times a week. I see lots of bad reviews saying it takes a long time and have ignored them because that’s how washer/dryer combos work. It’s in the specs! Maybe write a bad review for the shop for not advising you. It does take a long time about 5-6 hours and I knew that before purchasing. My only comment is that I would like to buy 4 more of them but unfortunately I’m choosing two of the 8kg LG instead and one more of this Samsung because I want to buy from Betta and they can’t give me the same price that Harvey Norman gave me. So the LG 8kg at $1750 works out at a lower price per KG of washing dried than the Samsung 6kg at $1350. I think the Samsung is probably more efficient because of the 1400 spin cycle. Fantastic product!

I absolutely love this washer dryer. Delivery was by far the easiest and most professional I've experienced, Kudos to Appliances Online. The machine was installed within minutes and hooked up to my home wifi in no time at all. The app covers everything you could think of, from the type of cycle (Cotton, Synthetics, , etc) to how many rinses and how fast it should spin. You can also set up the Dry Options if you want the washing machine dried. I regularly set everything up before leaving for work, then during the day, start the wash cycle so it's finished by the time I get home and ready to hang everything up to dry. If you want a smart washer/dryer, you can't go wrong with this one.

I have no issues with the wash functions and love the airwash, add wash features etc. But the drying component? Nonexistent! If I had have known the drying component would be so useless, I’d just have bought a washer. I go to the laundromat and use their dryers and my sheets are crisp in less than 15 mins. With this machine, I swear my things come out wetter than when I put them in! Maybe if I left it on an 8 hour cycle they’d be dry but how much water and electricity does that use?! Sorry Samsung, great washer, shocking “dryer”!!

I'm so in love with this machine, from the look, features, the way our clothes smell & SILENCE! My poor old LG washer dryer machine was over 10yrs old & doing the best it could, I actually enjoy doing the washing now that I never have much to do at all haha my towels & sheets are now dry in an hour or 2 and come out smelling like motel quality! I use the bubble wash as an added piece of mind for the more dirtier work clothes. Our house all passed a cold around at 1 point so I got to use the hygiene steam as well on our sheets as well. I knew I was going Samsung for my next machine so all my appliances would match so I did alot of reading and comparing before I bought 1 & I'm really happy I went with this 1!!

Worst product I have ever purchased. I spent more thinking Samsung should be best. I miss my washing machine and dryer that I gave away in order for this machine and I made sure I got a larger capacity. One load of clothes I put in this morning I am still waiting to dry after 8 hrs! Most times after a load finishes it stays locked until I turn it on and off again. One time that didn't even work and I had to drain the machine manually. So disappointed.

I have never been more unhappy with a washer/dryer in my life. the dryer function takes hours and doesn't even work, the clothes still come out wet. Samsung has sent out 2 different repairers and the machine still isn't fixed and is showing other issues. the digital display lights died within a month of purchasing the machine and even when the techs were looking at it they never fixed it. first technicians took 3 months to return my machine so to get it back still having the same issues was just insulting. this same company has just come out again today this being their 2nd time and the technician was so rude and tried to make out that I had no idea what I was talking about, couldn't accept that they didn't fix the machine the first time and even broke the filter door off what was meant to be my brand new machine. My machine won't pause in a cycle to use the add to wash feature, it remains locked even when it's off, the machine now has a beeping fit if the door is left open and I have to reset the machine to start a new load of washing.

I’ve had this over six months nothing but problems wish I never brought it! Washes are super long. I only really use 15min quick wash or 59 min one. The rest are all like 2 hours + ?! We had to get a tech out because the 59 min wash was taking an hour and a half to finish - he said it was the sensor. Those were replaced and now it’s been leaking when larger washes like heavy towels are put through. will have to get someone to look at it again! The only positive is the trap door that allows you to add after the wash has started - do yourself a favour and just buy the washer version of this it has better wash cycles to choose from and probably works better! We used to have the standard non dryer version and it was great!

I purchased this machine 2yrs ago, and have unfortunately regretted it ever since. I bought the washer /dryer combo to save time as I have small children, however it takes up too much time! The washer component is great, but the drying cycle can take up to 5hrs!! This may be great for couples but for families I would not recommend. Disappointing to think I could've purchased 2 separate machines for less than what I paid for this.

I bought this item a year ago and has been a total waste of money. The dryer function takes 5hrs and clothes can still come out damp. Samsung do not care as this is how the product is made however no-one discloses this upon purchase. Much better to buy seperate washer and dryer. Electricity bill will also go through the roof as it takes so long to dry. Just an overpriced washing machine and. Very disappointed.

Worst product ever! Save your money! The only good thing is the space you’re saving. It’s take for ever to wash and dry and the dryer is terrible! The only way your saving time is by doing a short cycle and it’s very mediocre! The rubber seal broke after only 3 months and Samsung doesn’t even cover it! Very poor customer service and poor quality product!

I brought my Samsung washer/dryer combo almost 18 months ago and I have almost no faults with it. The only fault like one other has said, was that there is no lint filter. But its not hard to take it out by hand where it gathers. I find the machine to be perfect for our family because both my husband and I work full time. I can put a load on in the morning and its done by the time we get home, and again overnight. I don't have to remove from a washer and put into a dryer, and therefore eliminating double handling. The wash and dry cycles are both extremely quiet. It washes and dries perfectly. Yes, it takes longer, but that doesn't bother me at all because it gets the entire job done on its own. I have absolutely no complaints about this product. I love it.

I bought this a month ago and was excited to find a combo with 5* reviews. I'd seen other Samsung reviews on the dryer smelling funny so tried the wash dry cycle out first and it was bad! Like a strong chemically small that gave me a headache. I read the manual prior to use and the manual said it might have a slight smell the first few times using the wash/dry (up to 4) but I've used it quiet a lot and it still has a smell. It is far less but when u wash clothes u want them to smell like freshly laundered clothes or what's the point? To try and paint a picture you pull out hot laundry that smells like you was he dit in chemicals. There is not the faintest smell of laundry detergent or softener. 2- I read how great the air wash function was and it too had the same smell so if ur air washing something to male it feel cleaner and it comes out smelling like chemicals it kind of defeats the purpose of the entire function. 3- my washer has the handy app but will only connect to a 2.4 connection I ha e 4g, and 5g and I tried several things and it would not connect so that feature is out 4- I used the barrel wash for the first time this week and water leaked all over the floor. I took a video and will upload. I assume that's not correct and it was empty not that it having anything inside it should male it leak. 5-a few times last week the noise level was intense! I thought maybe it was one off and the load was unbalanced but it was the next 3 or 4 loads it seems to have quiented down now but its less than a month old so itsdoesmt bode well.for the future. I could not add a second video but its on the same page as the video attached so u can find it and see for yourself if its passable for our house. For me if I had to hear that for more than a few days I'd be calling Samsung for it to be replaced/fixed. On the good sides the add door is great, the bubble soak works well and clothes come out dry if u use the wash/ dry. It has the option to only dry which mos twash/ dryers don't have and if u just need the dryer for emergencies u will have great smelling washing but had I known about the smell, and what seems to be a sound issue for whatever reason and now the leak I would have bought a different machine

I paid over $1,500 for this product just a few months ago, then I’m keep going to coin laundry last 10 days. Called sumsung service desk several times and they needs to order a parts to fix it so I have to wait another week till repair guy coming back to my house. Of course I do not pay for repair, but I cannot use my washer over a half month. It’s very hard as I got a kid on toilet training. I wish I could buy Panasonic washer dryer but they do jot sell them in Austlaria.

Prior to this machine, I've always used a top loader washer and separate dryer, and there are definitely some differences but overall I have been quite happy with my purchase. It does take longer to fully dry a load of washing than my old dryer, and I've needed to experiment a little with the settings for drying time, but on the other hand, now I can just set and forget and not have to move the load from one machine to another. It does dry the load completely if the drying time is set between 2.5 and 4 hrs in my experience. It operates very quietly and the AddWash door has already come in handy so I've been glad to have that feature! I would recommend this machine to anyone who only has space for a combo machine, just make sure you read the manual and experiment with the settings rather than relying on the default modes.

I bought this machine less than a year ago. It will not even turn on now. What a complete waste of money. It doesn’t finish cycles even with 2/3 items of clothing it says it is over loaded and won’t even do a spin cycle to empty the water I have to flood my floor to be able to open the door. Never again will I buy this Samsung is a rip off. 1 year $800 and now dirty clothes for my kids to wear to school thanks Samsung

For washing, it does a fine job, lots of wash options and features. I do wish there was something in between the 15 minute quick wash and the 59 minute wash, something around the half hour mark would have been good. As far as the dryer goes - ridiculous. Takes several hours to dry summer heets (even then not fully dry) and drying uses tons of water??? Just insane. We hang them up instead and if they are still a little damp before bed and need a boost, I actually put them in and put them on the sanitise or deodorise setting - this heats them up without water, and gets the last few bits of moisture out and then they feel like they've been in a dryer. Wouldn't recommend this for fully wet articles though as it doesn't vent air out like a normal dryer. I would have just bought the washing machine only version and saved a lot of money if I knew what the drying component was going to be like.

We purchased thinking that we would very rarely use the dryer option, as it takes a fair while and drying is of course a secondary function. HOWEVER what we quickly worked out is that a simple 30 min extension (coat hangar dry) leaves clothes mostly dry with only slightly moist ........either ready to iron or shake and hang = an absolute game changer goodbye clothes line in winter!

I was a little skeptical about getting a washer dryer as I hadn’t heard great things. This model was recommended by a friend and it really is great. I particularly like the wash / dry cycle - pop it on in the morning and when I’m home from work I have lovely clean and dry clothes so convenient absolutely love it.

Hasn't skipped a beat so far. Been giving the dryer a heavy workout, takes a long time but works perfectly. Many load options and customisation through the app is great. Auto detergent/softener feature is super convenient, Smart integration works ok but seems to go out of sync a bit.

Its great combo of washer and dryer with some auto functions like drum clean. Perfect of small to mid size home. What is leack is not easy to cleanup and doors must be kept open to avoid dampness inside and Cotton Wash cycle is 3HRS + . Very happy with its bubble wash for extra clean

Very disappointed as unable to dry sheets. The towels don't dry properly. I don't have 4 hours to wait to dry one load. I'm having to wash and dry most days now instead of just the weekend. Now having to purchase a condenser tumble dryer to keep up with the drying.

I purchased this a month ago and can confirm it does exactly as promised. Coming into the winter months, I already appreciate the quick wash and dry! It also is connected to my phone so that I am able to start, stop or add things as the washing is being done!

Easy to use. However as there is no lint collection device, lint is distributed all around the machine, which means lint dries on the walls of the door and all through the seal. Using the wash dry cycle makes lint collection time consuming and awkward.

Firstly the service from appliances online was exceptional, I was amazed , ordered in the evening and the machine was delivered and installed the next morning, even took away my old machine and they had the best price I could find for this washer. Coming from a top loader I wasn’t sure about a front loader but wanted a washer/dryer combo as both my washing machine and vented dryer needed replacement, the condenser dryer on the Samsung was a feature I wanted. Both washing and drying functions work as advertised although the cycle times take a quite a bit longer than I was used to with the previous combination, something to be aware of but which you get used to. The quick 15 minute wash only cycle is good for a quick wash then hang clothes on the outside line. The machine washes clothes well and has lots of cycle options to use, I don’t use them all with the 15 minute quick wash and daily wash cycles being the most used. I’d been near a Smokey fire and tried the air wash cycle which did a good job of removing the smoke smell. Now for a couple of gripes.... 1. Fluff collects a lot around the door seals which bothers me and can be difficult to clean. 2. Smart control is not a useful feature! The machine has to be turned on and smart control button pressed before you leave home, you can’t turn it on remotely using the smart phone app. Samsung can you please update firmware so the machine stays connected to the home network permanently like most other smart devices! 3. Machine gets noisy and rattles on spin cycle there doesn’t appear to be an out of balance trip when clothes are uneven after a wash cycle? 4. Have had one error code and I couldn’t open the door, turned out that the water wasn’t draining. Manually drained ( manual drain hose isn’t long enough and feels a bit cheap and flimsy) did wash again with the same error occurring. After manually drawing again I check the lint filter and found it clogged, it wasn’t full but had some long stringy bits of lint in it. This has only happened once but I,m now more conscious of cleaning it. Anyhow, that’s my experience after having this machine for about 3 months, so far I don’t regret the purchase and will see how it goes longer term. I expect a washing machine to last 10 years, maybe I’m expecting too much!
