Beautiful phone gave husband present for birthday. Excellent battery life. Lots of storage. Easy to fit in pockets.
Size, layout, performance all is perfect for me. Phone works smooth and is perfect for work and leasure.
I love the phone and it's speed and when opened up to the tablet size it amazing The phones a1 but the apps haven't caught up and have to go into settings every time to max screen display if available Price is a issue , I'm scared to death of losing it or dropping it and so you have to pay another £130 a year to insure it so it's getting more expensive.

My Z fold 8 is amazing the way it folds and fits into my pocket its always with me. I also love the way it opens up into a mini tablet it's just so much fun. It's a 2 in one kind of phone. I can't go nowhere without it
I'm a guy with big hands. Being able to open the Z Fold 8, turn it to portrait mode with the camera at the bottom, is not only a game-changer for fast accurate typing for owners of big thumbs, but the weight and balance of the device whilst typing is excellent too. Loving it!

It's definitely compact small but mighty and definitely 100 times better than my z fold 3 I had last time... Love it and u cannot see the fold at all and it really is a step up from my S25 too. Do not regret at all.

This is a great phone and looks very cool. I have not had a folding phone before and wasn’t sure what to expect. You can’t really see the fold when looking straight ahead at the screen. I would recommend getting a case for it because when the phone is open, the front screen is face down on whatever surface you put it on. Some reviews suggest that the camera isn’t as good as some, but it has many features that are good quality and many options to try out. It probably hasn’t got everything, the ultra seems to have more including optical zoom, but this is still very good. Battery life seems good.

The fold in the screen is deep, the speaker is right where you hold the phone so i end up blocking it, the hinge clunks from side to side when closed and my internal screen has a dip in it for no reason after 2 months. Can't wait to get rid of it!!! Get an S26 or go elsewhere, don't waste your money on this, you will be disappointed!

Just purchased a Z Fold 8 and at this moment am very disappointed, it was purchased for my wife to celebrate our 64 years married and it doesn't even tell us how to turn it on. All we are told is how to install a sim card, but not how to find any information how to use it, we both own Samsung phones now so we are not complete novices. It appears these days that it is assumed that everyone should know.

There is so much good about this phone, it's size is perfect. It makes the perfect e-reader. It's fast, playing games on it is fantastic. It is a great multi-tasker and the screen quality is brilliant. Now the bad. My volume up button is stuck and the staff in the Samsung shop looked at me like I throw my phone about. I don't I've even bought a hundred pounds case for the thing. The button is very stiff and instead of warranty they claimed I should have insurance. I've not dropped the phone once. The camera is poor, not good, not average, it's pretty poor. Unless the subject is in perfect light it will come off as grainy. Selfies were a lot better on my old flip phone and much easier to take. The phone is good but I can't give it the 4* it deserves considering the volume up button is a bit stiff. Samsungs customer service on the other hand has been poor across the board. As a constant customer I've been disappointed.

I've been intrigued with this form factor since the rumours started and I must say it's perfect for me. The phone is wider than almost every other phone out there but a bit shorter, I was wondering what that would mean when popped into a pocket and to my surprise it's actually more comfortable than a taller phone. I hardly notice that it is there, unlike the taller phones I've had (and I've had a lot of phones). I find myself very happy using the front screen for most of my day to day tasks, only unfolding the phone when I want to watch some videos or have side by side apps visible. This smallish phone that can then double in size (I know that's true for all foldable phones) but feels more convenient and natural both folded and open than every other foldable I've owned. And I've owned a lot of flagship foldables. I did want to talk about software, cameras, AI, battery life etc but I've ran out of space. Just know you don't be disappointed with any of it.

Well, this changes everything. Much lighter and thinner than it's great,grandma of the ZFold2; a phone I loved and my first folding phone. The Z Fold 8 will get at least seven major upgrades and so it should being a flagship entity. The first thing that hits you is the size. Suggestive of a passport, it fits easily into a pocket; 9.7mm when folded. It is considerably thinner that what I had. It is 4.5mm when unfolded. When opened it is roughly the size of a well-known e-reader. The screen has significantly less glare and razor sharp resolution of 1828x2448 and featuring an AMOLED 2X display. The camera features two 50 Megapixel cameras on the rear of unit plus two additional cameras; one on the cover screen and the other on the main. Sadly, there is no telephoto lens. Using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, I find blazing fast and able to cope with most tasks that I do. There's one thing I really wish to see the return of; the S Pen! That would really complete the user experience

I really loved my Flip 3, and then I got the S24 Ultra, which had an amazing camera and was a great all-around phone, though a bit big for my pocket. Now I'm on the Fold 8, and I'm super impressed with how it folds and its slim compact size, and also Samsung does the BEST trade-in deals. The screen and battery are awesome. But, I'm really let down about the camera. For this price, I expected a telephoto lens or better optical zoom. When I tried to zoom in about 15 meters, the quality was pretty bad. Samsung team, you could've made it perfect by adding another camera or better optical sensor, making it a truly outstanding product. It's a real letdown, I feel like I have a camera from 2 years ago.

It's slim and nice but the rear camera how it sticks out so much just makes the whole slimness useless, like don't you ever test your products before you even release them, can't pay it flat without a bulky case to balance it, and because of the position of the camera you can use any magnetic accessories as the don't lign up without hitting the camera. It would have been better off thicker with less of a camera bumb then you can add more battery at that point.

J'ai djéà essayé des zflip de chez samsung et j'avoue que le format ne me convenait Guère. Ce format là est par contre très satisfaisant, tant en état fermé (petit, fin, léger, néanmoins pratique pour une utilisation quotidienne) que en état ouvert (la surface disponible, le multi applis...). Le téléphone est hyper réactif et plein d'applis samsung (goodlock...) en font un téléphone quasi parfait, si ce n'est la partie photo peu satisfaisante pour moi.

I absolutely love my Z Fold 8! Perfect size. Smaller than most phones when folder yet a perfect small tablet as well when unfolded. Battery life is as good as my S25 Ultra was. Screens brightness just as good. Build and durability are good as well. No setbacks in my upgrade, only improvements. Samsung hit a home run with this on!

J’aime le format tablette, même quand le téléphone est "fermé". J’aime également le fait de pouvoir organiser les applis différemment sur écran ouvert. Le grand écran est agréable et très utile pour certaines apllications.

I LOVE my zFold 8..... however the fact that my inner screen hinge shattered without any foul play broke my heart. I want to love this phone 100% but it is impossible unfortunately. But that is the price to pay when buying a first model on a device.

Pour que votre lecteur d’empreinte digital fonctionne de manière optimale, vérifiez les points ci-dessous: - De bien utiliser un accessoire de protection homologué Samsung. - Assurez-vous que la zone de reconnaissance des empreintes digitales n’est pas endommagée. - Aussi, si la pulpe de vos doigts est fripée ou en cours de cicatrisation, le capteur d’empreintes peut ne pas la reconnaître. Le lecteur d’empreintes ne reconnaît pas les doigts trop petits ou trop fins. De même pour les peaux trop sèches, tout particulièrement le matin ou à l’extérieur par temps froid. Dans ce même cas, appliquez de la crème hydratante. Le capteur ne peut pas reconnaître les empreintes digitales dans des endroits trop froids, trop chauds ou lorsque vos doigts sont trop humides. My Samsung z fold 8 phone had a bad paint scratch with in only 3 weeks. Very disappointed with the durability. I have been using is very carefully with cover. I didn't drop it or anything. Yet there is a paint scratch.

I loved my phone from the moment I received it. This is my first Samsung Fold, and I have no regrets. The battery life, the screen, the size to fit in a small purse to go out, the crease is very durable, and the way it looks is amazing! The graphics are beautiful and it is a foldable little tablet, but phone. Now, I have had it over a month, and still love it, and get a lot of compliments.

En tant qu'utilisateur quotidien du Galaxy Z Fold 8 et du Z Fold 8 Ultra, je considère que ce sont deux appareils extrêmement puissants. Le passage au format « passeport » sur le Z Fold 8 est une véritable réussite : la prise en main est parfaite. Je me surprends d'ailleurs à l'utiliser davantage que mon Z Fold 8 Ultra (qui est pourtant mon téléphone principal), et ce, le plus souvent avec l'écran fermé. Le plaisir de l'ouvrir pour consommer du contenu vidéo reste toutefois intact et très agréable. J'ai cependant quelques axes d'amélioration et attentes pour l'avenir : Le volet photo : Bien qu'il soit très correct, le format des capteurs reste un peu petit à mon goût. Le format de l'appareil : Si Samsung proposait un smartphone classique (non pliable) reprenant exactement ce format passeport, je l'achèterais immédiatement. L'Intelligence Artificielle : La puissance globale et la surcouche One UI sont excellentes et j'en suis très satisfait. Néanmoins, étant un utilisateur exigeant, j'attends des évolutions beaucoup plus poussées concernant les agents IA travaillant de manière autonome en arrière-plan.

Le format passeport, j'adore. Écran externe excellent. L'écran interne est bon, mais j'ai l'impression quelquefois que les images sont très légèrement floues quand je regarde les matchs de foot. Le logiciel est performant , dans l'ensemble le smartphone est excellent. L'écran externe à 5,5" et l'écran principal à 7,6" concordent parfaitement.

Parfait, à 2 détails près. Il est tout simplement ce qu'on attendait d'un smartphone pliable. Un petit téléphone avec un excellent format, un excellent écran et une petite tablette quasi parfaite pour les vidéos, les jeux et surfer sur Internet. Il est fin, léger, la batterie tient bien plus qu'une journée, mode ouvert ou fermé, c'est nickel. Si je devais réellement lui reprocher quelque chose, ça serait le manque d'une caméra avec un téléobjectif et le fait qu'avec les caméras orientées ainsi, il est inutilisable à plat sur un bureau ou une table, à cause des objectifs qui ressortent beaucoup trop du téléphone. S'ils étaient placés dans l'autre sens, le sens de la largeur, au moins le téléphone serait stable mais là, c'est pénible. Et une dernière chose, la caméra selfie sur l'écran intérieur, il faut que Samsung la mette sous l'écran, ce n'est pas grave qu'elle ne soit pas de bonne qualité, elle ne sert de toute façon pas à grand chose... Sinon je suis ravi de ce téléphone et je le recommande à ceux qui n'ont jamais eu de smartphone pliable et même à ceux qui en ont déjà eu...le format est une pépite!

So far this phone has been pretty good. I love the form factor a lot. What stops me from giving this phone 5 stars, the reception and the camera. For the money we pay for the phone we could get a better camera system with better zoom. I also have a fold 8 ultra for work. Everywhere the fold 8 ultra gets okay reception, the fold 8 gets terrible reception. Hopefully these things will get upgraded in the next fold.

I've had this phone for over a month already and so far is great. performance has been good, no lagging whatsoever. Front screen size is perfect for me since I have small hands. I would even consider a phone this size without the fold feature. The inside screen is sharp and it feels like a mini tablet. Great for multitasking, gaming or watching videos. Battery has been excellent so far. I usually charge my phone every day and half when I don't watch too many videos or play games. The things to improve include the front and foldable screens cameras. The inside screen gets dirty very easily, so I have to constantly clean it. Crease can definitely improve if we compare with the competitors. The speakers also could use some improvements, sounds feel very flat. Call quality has been very low. Unless I'm using my galaxy buds, the volume is low even if set at the highest setting and the quality of the call is not sharp at all. This phone has the potential to become the best phone on the market, and for the price we all pay the things to improve mentioned above shouldn't increase the price. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a foldable phone.

Format convainquant et très agrable à l'usage ouvert ou fermé, en tout cas moi ca me plait bien. Finesse excellente j'adore les téléphone fin. Un peu deçu par la partie appareil pas terrible du tout dès qu'on veut zoomer un sujet (auqarel effect), je suis ok il faut faire des concessions du à l'épaisseur mais bon ... C'est un tres bon smartphone pour la consommation de contenus mais pas du tout pour photo et video (et ca me va perso) Sinon le prix quand même il faut en parler trop cher, vraiment comparé à un S26+

Ce nouveau format passeport est tout simplement génial, cela change la vie dans l'utilisation de tous les jours. Plus pratique, plus petit, tient dans une poche, très costaud. Et le format double écran est tout simplement la panacée pour lire ou travailler. L'autonomie est top, plus d'une journée et demi sans le recharger sachant que je suis gros consommateurs de Web, mail et Youtube.

Le format est parfait, on peut tout faire depuis l'écran externe. Tous les avantages du pliable avec une fois déplié, un grand écran pour visionner des vidéo ou faire du multi-tâches sans les inconvénients, épaisseurs, poids... Je recommande viviement.

Avoir une meilleure optimisation des apps type Insta ou FB pour avoir les vidéos au bon format et pas coupées car non adaptées au Fold.

Je suis vraiment ravi de mon choix après avoir fait l'acquisition de cet appareil pliable. La transition depuis mon ancien téléphone s'est faite très naturellement. Je ne regrette absolument pas d'avoir vendu mon iPhone 17 pour le Galaxy Z Fold 8. L'expérience utilisateur est exceptionnelle au quotidien grâce à la qualité de l'écran, les différentes fonctions proposées. GALAXY IA par exemple, je trouve que c'est un banger ! Je m'en sers au quotidien. Concernant l'appareil photo, ce n’est pas la catastrophe comme l'annonce les influenceurs ou certains journalistes. N'hésitez pas à l'essayer en magasin, vous pourrez vous rendre compte si ce modèle et ce format est fait pour vous. Côté batterie, je tiens 1.5 jours c’est juste incroyable ! One IU est très réactif et fluide. C'est un appareil très performant qui répond parfaitement à toutes mes attentes.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
