Delivery and Installation Services
Before Delivery
· The delivery team needs an unobstructed path, with 10-foot width clearance, between the unloading area and delivery location.
· Clear parking and unloading site close to your home, sidewalk, and inside path.
· Access to use the elevator during the delivery appointment. If you don’t have an elevator: 3 flights, or less, of stairs.
· Ensure all new construction work, such as: plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc, is completed before your delivery appointment.
· Double check dimensions.
· Measure the height, width, and depth of the empty space the appliance is going into.
Home Installation Service
(Purchased Separately)
· Delivery of unit to Consumers’ home for installation (3 flights max).
· Performing installation.
· Replacing all existing connectors with new parts Plugging-in to confirm that product is fully functional.
· Leveling of product(s).
· Removal of the appliance carton and dunnage.
· The installation service must be purchased at checkout.
· Local regulations require certain appliances to be installed by a licensed professional. As a result, delivery and installation may occur on different dates.
· No conversion of from gas to propane.
Standard Deliveries
(No Installation)
· A responsible adult, 18 years or older, must be present at delivery.
· Confirm the unit matches your paperwork -Model #, Color, Style before you sign.
· Delivery of unit to Consumers’ home and room of choice (3 flights of stairs max).
· Unboxing and Debris removal (if requested).
· Removal of the appliance carton and dunnage.
· Inspection of unit and confirmation of model.
· Local regulations require certain appliances to be installed by a licensed professional. As a result, delivery and installation may occur on different dates.
Haul-away Service
(Purchased separately)
· Removal of 1 appliance when service is purchased.
· The appliance must be emptied of any personal belongings.
· For built-in appliances, the appliance must be uninstalled.
· Delivery team will not be able to haul away sub-zero and built-in refrigerators.
Refrigerator & Freezers
· For refrigerators with an icemaker or an ice and water dispenser: a working shut-off valve connected to a 1/4” stainless steel water line must be located within 6 feet of the appliance and be on the same floor of the home· The shut-off valve must be free of rust and corrosion
· Refrigerators are big, make sure you double check the dimensions
Delivery Only
Before Delivery:
· Check the dimensions: Measure the height, width and depth of the empty space your appliance is going into. Make sure to account for your existing countertops, cabinets and drain pans. Any adjacent walls or cabinets will require 3 1/2” of extra space in the width for the doors to fully open. (Please reference Refrigerator Measuring tips video)
· A 110V grounded 3-prong electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
· For refrigerators with an icemaker or an ice and water dispenser: a working shut-off valve connected to a 1/4” stainless steel water line must be located within 6 feet of the appliance and be on the same floor of the home. Note: the shut-off valve must be free of rust and corrosion.
· Accessories required (this is only included with the ‘Delivery + Installation’ service):
o UL listed 6’ water line.
Delivery + Installation
Before Delivery:
· Check the dimensions: Measure the height, width and depth of the empty space your appliance is going into. Make sure to account for your existing countertops and cabinets. Any adjacent walls or cabinets will require 3 1/2” of extra space in the width for the doors to fully open. (Please reference Refrigerator Measuring tips video)
· A 110V grounded 3-prong electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
· For refrigerators with an icemaker or an ice and water dispenser: a working shut-off valve connected to a 1/4” stainless steel water line must be located within 6 feet of the appliance and be on the same floor of the home. Note: the shut-off valve must be free of rust and corrosion. The delivery team cannot work with exposed wires and are unable to connect directly to an existing copper water line.
· Accessories required and included:
o UL listed 6’ water line.
Gas Range
· There must be a natural gas shut-off valve directly behind the range location· These are required and only included with installation: 4’ x 5/8” OD coated gas connector, 1/2” MIP x 1/2” MIP, 3/4” MIP fitting, thread sealant, leak test solution
Delivery Only

· Ensure there is a natural gas shut-off valve located directly behind the range location. Gas valves must be made of metal, in good working condition, and be free of any rust. The delivery team will not be able to connect the range to plastic or rusty connectors.
· The anti-tip bracket will be attached to the range during installation. Please be aware that installation of the anti-tip bracket will require small holes to be drilled into the floor or the wall behind the range. Drilling into the floor includes tile, wood, or other hard surfaces. If you choose to not have the anti-tip bracket installed the Delivery Team will not be able to complete the install and the appliance will be left in the box.
· A 110V grounded 3-prong electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
· Accessories required (this is only included with the ‘Delivery + Installation’ service):
o 4’ x 5/8” OD coated gas connector, 1/2” MIP x 1/2” MIP, 3/4” MIP fitting, thread sealant, leak test solution
Delivery + Installation

· Ensure there is a natural gas shut-off valve located directly behind the range location. Gas valves must be made of metal, in good working condition, and be free of any rust. The delivery team will not be able to connect the range to plastic or rusty connectors.
· The anti-tip bracket will be attached to the range during installation. Please be aware that installation of the anti-tip bracket will require small holes to be drilled into the floor or the wall behind the range. Drilling into the floor includes tile, wood, or other hard surfaces. If you choose to not have the anti-tip bracket installed the Delivery Team will not be able to complete the install and the appliance will be left in the box.
· A 110V grounded 3-prong electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
• No conversion/transfer from gas range to propane
· Accessories required and included: 4’ x 5/8” OD coated gas connector, 1/2” MIP x 1/2” MIP, 3/4” MIP fitting, thread sealant, leak test solution
Electric Range
· A 3 or 4 prong plug must be available and ready for the unit, otherwise an electrician will need to install one before delivery· Ensure that a dedicated, properly grounded 220/240-volt branch circuit, protected by a 40-amp circuit breaker, is ready
· Power cables are only included with installation
Delivery Only

Delivery + Installation

· UL listed 4’ 50 amp 4-wire range cord
Microwaves
· Exhaust ducts must be located in the cabinet, above the installation site, if planning to exhaust to the outside· Unit must be installed at least 24 inches above the range, or as recommended from the local code requirements
Delivery Only
Before Delivery:
· Check the dimensions: Measure the height, width and depth of the empty space your appliance is going into. Make sure to account for your existing countertops and cabinets. (Please reference Microwave Measuring tips video)
· If you are planning to exhaust the microwave to the outside, there must be an existing exhaust duct located in the cabinet above the installation location. The exhaust duct size must match the vent size of the new microwave.
· Microwave must be installed at least 24 inches above a range or as recommended from the Manufacturer/Local Code requirements.
Make sure the location where the unit is going has a grounded 3-prong 110V electrical outlet. Otherwise, an electrician will need to install the correct outlet before delivery.
Delivery + Installation
Before Delivery:
· Check the dimensions: Measure the height, width and depth of the empty space your appliance is going into. Make sure to account for your existing countertops and cabinets. (Please reference Microwave Measuring tips video)
· If you are planning to exhaust the microwave to the outside, there must be an existing exhaust duct located in the cabinet above the installation location. The exhaust duct size must match the vent size of the new microwave.
· Microwave must be installed at least 24 inches above a range or as recommended from the Manufacturer/Local Code requirements.
· Teams will not drill into tile, granite, marble, manufactured stone, slate or mirrors. Teams will not drill into tile, granite, marble, manufactured stone, slate or mirrors.
· Make sure the location where the unit is going has a grounded 3-prong 110V electrical outlet. Otherwise, an electrician will need to install the correct outlet before delivery.
Dishwasher
· Depending on the building codes of your area, a GFCI or Arc Fault GFCI outlet may need to be installed by an electrician, prior to delivery and installation· A 110/120-volt, 3-prong, grounded electrical outlet protected by a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit breaker must be located within 5 feet of the installation location
Delivery Only
Before Delivery:
· An accessible shut-off valve, located under the sink or behind the dishwasher location, must be available. The delivery team cannot install a dishwasher if the shut-off valve is located in a crawl space, a basement, or is inaccessible. Note: the shut-off valve must be free of rust and corrosion.
· Depending on the building codes in your area, a GFCI or Arc Fault GFCI outlet* may need to be installed by an electrician, prior to delivery.
· Ensure that there is a 110/120-volt, 3-prong, grounded electrical outlet protected by a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit breaker located within 5 feet of the installation location.
· Accessories required (this is only included with the ‘Delivery + Installation’ service):
o Dishwasher Kit (6’ stainless steel dishwasher water line, 6’ straight power cord, 3/4” elbow, 3/8” elbow, plastic Romex connector, worm gear clamp (2), wire nuts (3), Teflon tape and screws (2)

· To ensure proper drainage, dishwashers must be installed no more than 10 feet from the sink/primary drain. (Please reference Dishwasher Measuring tips video)
· An accessible shut-off valve, located under the sink or behind the dishwasher location, must be available. The delivery team cannot install a dishwasher if the shut-off valve is located in a crawl space, a basement, or is inaccessible. Note: the shut-off valve must be free of rust and corrosion.
· Ensure that there is a 110/120-volt, 3-prong, grounded electrical outlet protected by a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit breaker located within 5 feet of the installation location.
· Hardwire Dishwashers:
· The Dishwasher Installation Kit comes with a Plug that wires directly to the Dishwasher. If you do not have an outlet near the dishwasher, the Team may not directly connect the residential electrical wire to the dishwasher.
· Require the DW to plug into a GFCI or ARC-Fault GFCI outlet only.
· The residential electrical line needs to have an on/off switch near the dishwasher.
· Accessories required and included:
· Dishwasher Kit (6’ stainless steel dishwasher water line, 6’ straight power cord, 3/4” elbow, 3/8” elbow, plastic Romex connector, worm gear clamp (2), wire nuts (3), Teflon tape and screws (2)
Washer
· Washers and dryers are able to be stacked but only when purchased as a bundle and delivered together· The installation team will not install a washer or dryer on an existing (old) pedestal nor on a generic, non-Samsung branded, pedestal
· The washer drain stand pipe needs to be 34-60 inches above the floor to ensure proper drainage

· The hot and cold water shut-off valves need to be easily identifiable and accessible. All connections must be in good working condition. Please ensure that the water shut-off valves meet these requirements before delivery. Note: the shut-off valves must be free of rust and corrosion.
· Washers and dryers are able to be stacked but only when purchased as a bundle and delivered together.
· Pedestals must be purchased with your order and arrive with your washer on your delivery. Pedestals are a laundry accessory used to raise the height of washers and dryers. Pedestals cannot be installed unless the pedestal is purchased in a laundry package. NOTE: The installation team will not install a washer or dryer on an existing (old) pedestal nor on a generic, non-Samsung branded, pedestal.
· Pipe adapter needs to be prepared (if applicable). The washer drain stand pipe needs to be 34-60 inches above the floor to ensure proper drainage. The pipe must have a 2” opening or an adapter will be required. An adapter can be purchased at a local hardware store. If needed, please purchase before delivery.
· Ensure there is a 110/120-volt, 3-prong, grounded electrical outlet protected by a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit breaker.
· Accessories required (this is only included with the ‘Delivery + Installation’ service):
