What is Samsung Solve for Tomorrow?
Each year Samsung hosts a $2 million national competition for public schools grades 6–12 in which students are asked to consider how science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) can be used to create change in their communities. With the help of their teachers, students can apply to the contest and compete to win up to $100,000 in prizes for their school, plus the opportunity to work with Samsung employees to develop their prototypes.
What is Samsung Solve for Tomorrow?

National Winners
Three National Winner schools receive a $100K prize package including Samsung products and classroom resources.

National Finalists
10 schools will be named National Finalists and chosen to receive a $50K prize package including Samsung products and classroom resources.
National Finalists are eligible to win an additional $10K in technology for the Community Choice Award through social media voting and the Samsung Employee Choice Award, in addition to their National Finalist prize package.

State Winners
50 schools will be named State Winner and will receive a $12,000 prize package including Samsung products and classroom resources, plus the opportunity to work with a Samsung employee mentor.

Sustainability Innovation Award
From 50 State Winners, one Sustainability Innovation Award winner showing consideration for environmental impact will receive a $50,000 environmental sustainability prize package.

State Finalists
300 schools will be named State Finalists and chosen to receive a $2,500 prize package for their school including Samsung products and classroom resources to complete their activity plan submission
