Bought this model when it launch , beautiful design solid built ,sounds great , But just after 2 hours usage haven’t even Finnish my movie it just died on me ,no sound what so ever , hdmi , optical , Bluetooth all not working totally froze up ,after several test replace cables bought new optical cable , same totally froze up ,,best part is while My phone is connected to soundbar , sound bar would be in constant pairing mode,, now waiting for replacement , , hope samsung would rectify this issue , it seems that I’m not the only one facing this issues according to the sales rep ,he claims several customers are facing the same issues

I purchased a Samsung soundbar approximately a year ago, and I've been experiencing recurring issues. After just two months, the soundbar had problems, and the store, "thegoodguys," replaced it. Unfortunately, I'm now facing the same issues with the replacement unit. There are instances of no sound or severe cracking noises, negatively impacting the overall audio experience. Given that this is the second occurrence of such issues within a relatively short time frame, I am genuinely concerned about the product's reliability and performance. I believe it's reasonable to expect a product of this nature to function seamlessly for an extended period.

I bought this soundbar from best buy and was absolutely thrilled to try it out!! I brought it home, got it set up quickly, and was legitimately impressed by the sound! 24 hours later, the speaker was unusable. The bluetooth began cutting out more and more frequently until it finally just stopped playing at all. I purchased optical audio connection and HDMI arc cables to try it out with my TV but that wouldn't output any sound either. The menu options have started freezing up too. Went from awesome to terrible in a matter of hours.

Installed this soundbar to my Samsung tv via HDMI. Within the first hour, the sound cut out twice for a few seconds each time. It worked well for 3 hours with great sound and then it stopped working. with no sound coming from it. Carried out trouble shooting with the help of the Samsung customer service. all to no avail. It is now at the repair shop. Unfortunately, due to the fact it is brand new, I have lost confidence in this soundbar even if it is repaired.

I bought the HW-Q600BXY Soundbar in September 2022 and can honestly say that it has improved the sound of my Sony TV no end - absolutely chalk and cheese with what I had been used to listening to before. I liked it so much that I bought the add-on two rear speakers kit (SWA-9200S/XY) to complete the system and give me true surround sound. However, my only real complaint is that the rear speaker kit isn't actually wireless as you advertise, as you need to connect both speakers together with the speaker cable supplied, so I don't really understand how you can say that it is wireless - a big play on words? Other than that minor niggle, if you don't currently have a Soundbar in your system, go out and buy one now - you won't regret it!
I recommended this product.

I bought this Soundbar a week ago, one for myself and one for my partner. No sound played at all from either Soundbar. I returned the Soundbars to the store they were bought from and swapped for new ones. My new Soundbar worked for a few hours and then all of a sudden stopped playing again and now will not work at all. All cords and settings are correctly set up. I’ve used Samsung products for years and have never ever had a single issue. I will be taking this Soundbar back and requesting a full refund. Very disappointed and stuffed around.

Brought this along with 75” tv. Hooked up with earc and only worked for few hrs till sound died. Swapped it over only to have same problem! Swapping again today hoping it’s ok 3rd time round... could be bad batch?! dealers been great with swaps just sucks as Samsung are great products.

Bought one of these and connected it with my Samsung TV. Had the issue where it broke in less than 24hrs. It was bought through a wholesaler who kindly replaced it - the second one had the same issue and broke as well. Haven't had helpful support so far.

As per a significant number of other people have indicated, the soundbar worked for half an hour, then would not put out any sound, despite being connected to the tv. Wasted hours on the phone to Samsung, only to be forced to take the soundbar to Samsung's preferred repairer. Terrible customer service, terrible product, unreliable, which is clear based on the significant number of 1 star reviews with the same issue.

This sound bar lasted 2 weeks before it stopped working (no sound), I spent 90 minutes on the phone to Samsung before the technician told me this was a known fault with this model. Not good enough

This is our first Samsung sound bar that we bought with our new Samsung 65 inch NEO Q LED 4K. Problem was it only worked for two hours before failing. Took soundbar back to Harvey Norman to be tested & found to be faulty. Issued with a replacement. Second soundbar lasted three hours before failing. Samsung technician called on phone & run us through some fault finding tests. He agreed this sound bar was also faulty & to return it to Harvey Norman for replacement. They did not have any in stock so had to wait for stock to come in. Returned second soundbar & received a third soundbar. Two weeks on & soundbar is working to perfection. This is our third Samsung TV over the years & are all still in operation in our house. We hope this is an isolated product failure & our new soundbar will give us enjoyment into the future.

This soundbar picks up on the little things you'd forgotten were important to hear!! as simple as footsteps, breathing and doors slamming. The louder sounds also are spectacular! Explosions you can feel the vibrations from the woofer! Plus great for music! Rugby league feel like you're there as the crowd and tackle thumps are clear. Another big plus KIDS MOVIES ARE AMAZING with this soundbar.

Bought recently. Easy setup. Minor issue of hdmi not going into one of the slots….was easily resolved with a small screw driver to clear obstruction within the slot. Good sound with excellent base for the price range. Though I feel that Dolby Atmos experience is not as immersive as I had expected but then I haven’t really tested the system with a true Dolby atmos movie. Still a good buy.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. Set up was easy and initially the sound was great. But then all sound stopped after only 4 hours of use and its been in the service centre ever since with no indication of when it will be repaired. Prospective buyers - read the reviews of this model and take note of how many failures are being reported. I think this one might be a bit of a lemon.

Love samsung phones. Always great quality thought id get their tv and soundbar. What a mistake. The tv is great....for now. The soundbar however died within 2 hours of connecting to the tv. Got a replacement today and lo and behold it has also died though after 4 hours this time. I am shocked to say the least, though this seems to be a common problem for this sound bar.

Bought this last month together with the tv as the cash back offer was appealing n upon using it for a little while on the very first day , it’s sound was like fireworks n crackling noise. Had to call Samsung on multiple occasions n they even heard those noises and been advised to take it to the repairs plus still having issues trying to sort out my cash back offer

Had this hooked up to a Samsung tv. A week after purchase it just stopped making sound. Would connect but no sound, no matter what was connected including Bluetooth. Troubleshooting with Samsung didn’t help and I had to drive an hour away to drop it off at a authorised repairer. That was over a week ago. Pretty awful experience to be honest.

This thing pumps out a great sound and is great the way it connects with a Samsung tv. The interface on the speaker is definitely reliant on having a Samsung to easily change settings, although you can with another branded TV. It just wouldn’t be as simple. Overall, great product and would definitely recommend to anyone with a smaller space.

I like it so much because it make the sound more lively even only watching on TV programs or YouTube..and I just realise that very easy to install it by myself throu the installation manual guide. I never thought I cared about the sound my TV gave out until I plugges this soundbar in and now I will never go back just to TV speakers. The quality of sound that comes through this soundbar is better than the cinemas. The sound is so clear and crisp. If i could give this 6 stars I would.

Brought the new model with the new tv sound bar won't connect, trouble shooting with Samsung and found to be faulty from the getting go, get a replacement home and assembling for screw strip out for bracket and snap off. Not very good quality at all so it's going back too.

Purchased online during sale, it was shipped from Sydney within 24 hours but it took 2 weeks for delivery to Adelaide which eventually involved me picking it up from courier warehouse some 90 minute round trip. Was looking forward to setting it up with my new Samsung Oled tv which I purchased 4 weeks ago. The set up was easy, connected with eARC and the sound was great. I put on an Ultra 4k bluray movie to try the soundbar out and was initially pretty impressed but after about 10 minutes the sound dropped out for a few moments then came back again. 5 minutes later same thing happened. An hour into the movie the sound just completely went. Tried all the troubleshooting suggestions. Swapped cables around. Tried it with Bluetooth, tried it with other tvs in the house but nothing. It was connecting to tv but no sound at all. Tried a reset. Looking at other reviews it looks like quite a few people have had the same issue. I have purchased many Samsung products in the past. I have had several TV's, always had Samsung Galaxy Phones, and have been very happy with their products. This is my first soundbar. Very disappointing. Now looks like I'm going to go through the hassle of a warranty claim. Don't know how that will go.
