The easiest way to adjust the settings and optimize your new Soundbar is by using the SmartThings app from your smart device (phone or tablet). This will allow you to see the adjustments on your screen in real time. Follow the steps below to set up your Soundbar. 1. Install and launch the SmartThings app from your mobile device (smartphone or tablet). 2. On the app, follow the screen instructions to add the Soundbar. • The automatic pop-up (the second screenshot below) may not show on some devices. If the pop-up window does not appear, press + on the Home screen. The Soundbar will be added to the app. We appreciate your feedback regarding the manual included with your soundbar. When you have the SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speakers connected and powered on. You will be able to control them using the provided Soundbar remote. By pressing the CH LEVEL button on the remote, you can adjust the CENTER LEVEL, SIDE LEVEL or REAR LEVEL (in this order). Press the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote to adjust between -6/+6. If you want to have an easier time adjusting any of the settings of your HW-S61B Soundbar, connect the soundbar to SmartThings. This will allow you to adjust the soundbar and rear speakers using your iOS or Android smart device. Hello DoctorOctopus, Thank you for purchasing the HW-S60B Soundbar. There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar. First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device. Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The LED display changes as follows: White moves from left to right and right to left, and the middle LED blinks Cyan 3 times. Then the middle LED will blink RED and turn off. First, I would start by doing a hard reset on your soundbar. With the power ON, press and hold the - & + volume UP/DOWN buttons on the soundbar unit itself for roughly 5 seconds. You will see the LED go from left to right and right to left. The center LED will blink 3 times in Cyan and then you see the middle LED blink RED. The soundbar has now been reset. From here, using the SmartThings app downloaded to your smart device you can pair your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to easily add your Alexa account to your soundbar and make sure that the soundbar itself is fully up to date automatically. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: ADAPTIVE SOUND, DTS VIRTUAL:X, MUSIC, GAME, STANDARD. When you press the SOUND MODE button it will change to the different modes in the above order. You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the TONE CONTROL button. If you want more bass in addition to the built-in subwoofer, you can add the compatible SWA-W510 Wireless Subwoofer. Also you can upgrade to surround sound by adding SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit to your soundbar.
