[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure when I decided that I would go with a white theme for most of my electrics but most of the products in my kitchen are white and my samsung bespoke vacuum is white. My samsung frame TV is white thanks to the customizable bezel. My samsung bespoke refrigerator is white. You get the point. So naturally I'd want a matching white samsung soundbar. It looks fantastic mounted under my TV and the sound quality is amazing! I love the sleek slim design. The installation was easy enough for a dummy like me to understand. I'm probably the least handy man out there and I had it mounted and ready to rock in no time. You did it again samsung! Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This soundbar is amazing! The deep bass and sound quality are top notch. The soundbar was fairly easy to set up but like other reviews I had read, the bluetooth portion was not very responsive and it took me a number of attempts to connect it. If there was a flaw to this sound bar, it would be just that- its issues with bluetooth connectivity. Just recently, it began having issues staying connected with our newer Samsung TV. It takes a bit of effort by resetting or powering on and off the TV and bar in order for it to reconnect. It has done this for the past week. Overall, this issue can be dealt with considering the sound and volume output are top quality.

WHO WANTS TO GO INTO THEIR SETTINGS EVERYTIME TO SELECT WIFI SOUNDBAR, AND THEN SELECT TV+SOUNDBAR... WHEN SAMSUNG IS TOO LAZY TO CODE A 'KEEP LOOKING FOR SOUNDBAR ON BOOTUP PROTOCOL' ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.. NOBODY WANTS TO WIRE UP THE SOUNDBAR... THE WIFI INTERFACE TO THE TV SHOULD BE MORE ROBUST... OR HAVE RETRY LOGIC... OR HAVE A 'DEFAULT' OPTION IN THE SETTINGS SO THAT IT KEEPS LOOKING FOR THAT DEFAULT SETTING!!!!! Bought this just prior to Christmas. When I brought it home would not work. After much time and buying a new HDMI cable still would not work. Narrowed it down to a faulty HDMI out on the soundbar. Spoke to Samsung help line and they agreed that the product was faulty. Took it back to "The Good Guys" who exchanged it for a new one, connected it up at home and worked perfectly. Needed a very low soundbar to fit with my decor. Live in a unit so don't need loudness (although it has that) but looking for good sound with a bit of base from the woofer. Excellent product and very happy with the advice from Samsung help line.

The speaker and subwoofer sound clear and crisp. I've noticed that the speaker/soundbar sometimes turns off and is hard to bring back. I started to use the phone app to tinker with the volume. Mixed feelings about the soundbar because, to be honest, if the sound is not Atmos, i could not tell you whether my TV or the soundbar are actually producing the sound. It can be used for everyday streaming of movies, streaming of TV shows, streaming of music, and gaming. I also can be used for things related to work, i.e.: presentations, brain storming sessions, hear your work(s) of art come to life, or for something as simple as using it for video calls for work. The sound is clear and crisp. It honestly took me by surprise how decent the sound was for the size of the product. It is easy to setup out of the box and maneuvering it to the settings you want is easy as well.

The bass is deep and the clear voice mode is something you can not ever go without. My wife and I work always have to use subtitles to fully comprehend most movies, but that was used less ever since we got these speakers. The only drawback would be the connection. The system would lose connection often, yet it was easy to re-connect. I believe that since I have smart-things on my fold, it made the re-connect much more easier. Others without smart-things may experience otherwise. Love this system so I decided to buy my sister one as well.

The theater experience is awesome with WIFI Dolby ATMOS. I love the audio coming from it every bit. Whether you Sport or movie it feels awesome. My Kid loves to play games on Xbox on this tv and he loves it. It's slim design is awesome and as I said both my Tv and Soundbar compliment each other very well. Many types of Bluetooth devices can be synced; and was able to keep a Bluetooth connection from more than 60ft! Can stream sounds over wifi devices like laptops. Gaming surround sound doesn’t let the enemy sneak up on you! If you have an older TV that doesn’t have an ARC HDMI port and no Bluetooth or Wifi connection capabilities, this is not compatible with older TVs. Another issue is there are two separate AC plugs with right angle cords. That’s unnecessary, they should be straight plugs.

Installed Saturday last week. Design and quality of material second to none. Unfortunately we must have got a lemon, apart from using a hdmi cable to connect it to the Frame, the soundbar does not show up for Bluetooth connection. Can’t link it to Smarthings, can’t pair it with the tv without wire. Followed all troubleshooting -even the wrong ones sent by Samsung, called customer service 3 times, updated the software, can detect the TV, can connect the subwoofer but the soundbar is nowhere to be found… The Frame 2022 sound is so good, the surround with the soundbar doesn’t make it a lot better.

I received this system just before the Super Bowl. Wow, what a great way to enjoy the game!! The sound enhancement makes all of or viewing so much more enjoyable. Combining this sound system with our new QLED 65" was best move we've made. BTW, Samsung should reference a link to the Youtube video for installation. Such a breeze to do after watching that.

By far the best ultra slim soundbar I’ve found. It’s not invisible, but it’s remarkably slim. Way smaller than others and surprisingly robust sound quality. And I’m an audio prosumer, not quite audiophile but I definitely have a refined audio palate. I bought one of these for my wife’s office Samsung The Frame TV, and was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. Now that we’re downsizing from Kef bookshelf speakers plus 12” sub, I bought another S801-B. If you live in a condo and don’t have room for full audiophile setups, this is a great option.

Can not connect via HDMI(ARC) cable to TV. -Able to connect to TV via BlueTooth and Wifi well. -Confirmed TV setting, Anynet+ (HDMI-CES) is on. -The HDMI cable is connected to the ARC terminal. -Confirmed several times at the cable-connection point. -From the TV Sound Output, I can/cannot see the [AV] Soundbar S801B(HDMI) randomly. (some time it shows as Receiver (HDMI)) It looks like the connection is not stable? I'm not sure where the issue is the micro HDMI cable or sound-bar connector or others. I’ve had this soundbar for almost a year, and there is no way to stop it from announcing that it’s connected to the tv, randomly and multiple times a day, even when the tv isn’t in use. I’ve reached out to support, and looked at all options, but this seems to be a bug that isn’t being fixed. Incredibly annoying, and the only option is to lower the volume before turning the tv off every time. I don’t believe the improvement in sound quality is worth these frustrations for what seems like it should be a simple feature to turn off.

I purchased 2 of these to pair with a 2022 75" The Frame TV, hopeing to pair both via WiFi using the WiFi surround feature on the Frame. I have messed with every setting on both the soundbars and the TV. While both are connected via WiFi they will not both connect to the TV simultaneously. The only way I can get them both to connect is via Bluetooth using the multiconnect feature. The biggest issue is to do this I have to pair and connect the speakers each time. By default only one device will connect via Bluetooth. This has to be possible to have both sound bars connect by default either using the WiFi surround feature (preferred) or using multi device connect .. any help here would be great ! Starting to feel like I wasted a bunch of money on this for nothing ..

I bought my sound bar on February 19. It is March 9 and it is making a high pitch noise when connecting it to any source (phone, TV, Bluetooth or Wifi connection). I enabled Alexa on it and right after I speak to it, it also makes a high pitch noise. After the initial connection, it sounds OK, but I cannot get that noise to disappear. I wanted to ask for a replacement, but I was only given the option to "repair." I don't feel good about having a reconditioned product, so I am only left with returning it as an option.

The set up was very simple and was playing audio within 15 minutes via wifi and included hdmi cable. The included subwoofer is a nice touch to the mighty sound of the soundbar. I was so impressed with the overall sound from playing music and streaming video....I added a pair of the wireless Samsung surround sound speakers (SWA 9500). I have a complete surround sound in my office that rivals my Q900 with SWA 9500 surround sound speakers.

I also like that I can access the sound bar setting from my phone to adjust the equalizer, subwoofer, and the sound. There is an option to mount it on the wall. I definitely can tell the difference of the sound quality compared to the televisions sound. My biggest complaint is the initial set up. At first it was confusing, but we eventually figured it out. Also, it would disconnect from the television and we would have to go through the whole set up process again. Maybe it was user error. Not too sure of the reason for the disconnection. Starting out, it was frustrating, but now all is good and we have not had any issues since. Very happy with the sound bar!

It’s a great concept and sound fantastic for its size when it works. Unfortunately it partially disconnects from the wireless TV sync every single time the TV sleeps/Art Mode. Sometimes it doesn’t give you volume control via remote but says it’s connected, other times it reverts to TV speakers since it’s not connected at all. Also it’s advertised as being the perfect pairing with The Frame but the included audio cable isn’t long enough to connect to the One box forcing you to use wifi with FrameTVs.

The unique volume control design is also a plus. The volumeis adjusted by pushing the tactile button up or down. The soundbar & sub woofer are both controlled by the same remote. The quality of sound is deep, and rich. The SW provides more bass then most users will ever need, but it's nice to know if you want to shake the walls and windows you have that option.

The white was a strange color, but would look good with a white television. Luckily my shiplap wall is white so it blends in. Very responsive, easy to control and automatically works matches the ARC-connection. Seemingly no delay on the bluetooth of the subwoofer which was my biggest worry. Overall a great choice on this item and may buy the black version for my other TV :)

The sub is very powerful and can easily overtake the sound stage if the setting is too high. In the end I returned this set for the larger Q800B since I didn't have a space constraints. The Q800B seems to have better balance. But, if you are limited on space or want to wall mount the speaker, the S800B is a great option.

I listen to music a majority of the day, but don't spend much time in my living room. The location is ideal to hear throughout the house though. Prior to getting the soundbar I had individual speakers in the rooms I spent the most amount of time in, but I couldn't hear my music from room to room. The soundbar now allows me to listen throughout the house. The sound clarity is amazing and it was so easy to setup. I love the different sound options available with it. It makes a huge difference being able to change the settings for listening to music vs watching a movie or the current series I am binging when I have the time. If you are looking for a great sound system that is easy to use and has plenty of options, this is the best option out there!

I have/had bose, polk soundbars before but it terms of overall quality as tv soundbar supercedes both brands. Although Bose had better stronger base, I prefer balanced sound and also the voice optimization really helps out with movie dialogues. Surround mode is ver defined. Overall the best soundbar I had so far. Highly recommended.

But I want to start off with his apartment isn't the biggest and even on 15-20 on volume it fills his living area perfectly fine, the base is at a comfortable sweep stop and has a deep enough tone when some scenes have a base drop, and the vocals clear. Overall he did well picking this up!

Works great... when it is on and connected. I have a Samsung Frame TV and initially it would turn on with the TV, but stopped. Every time I turn on the TV, I have to unplug then plug the soundbar back in to get it to turn on. Tried updating firmware (on bar and TV), reseting it, changing HDMI wire. Some of these seemed to work for a couple of days (soundbar would turn on with TV), but quickly stopped. Very frustrating.

The base from the subwoofer is strong and vibrates just at the right time. I watched Jurasic Park and the sound was amazing with the dinosaurs and events. My TV stand is very low so I needed a thin/low soundbar. The pictures dont show how thin this soundbar is and doesnt take up much room. For its size the sound is awesome with thumping bass. Setup was easy and even came with a HDMI to mini HDMI cable. Was concerned there was no display but the flashing lights (on/off vol up/down etc) work well. Finally the look/fashion of the soundbar looks great.

God lyd i forhold til sin størrelse. Men enorm dårlig egenskaber i forhold til WIFI tilslutning. Soundbar en er tilsluttet den samme WIFI som mit Samsung fjernsyn og de står samme sted i stuen. Jeg oplever aldrig problemer med fjernsynet men denne soundbar afbryder konstant sin forbindelse til WIFI og det tager en krig at finde ud af problemet. Oftest skal det hele nulstille. Meget irriterende.

However, I feel that the speakers of my Samsung Neo QLED 90B provide better surround sound than the soundbar itself. The speaker enhances the sound, but without TV speakers, it does not impress much. The speaker gets disconnected from the TV speakers (TV + soundbar speakers) every time the TV is turned off- this really needs to be fixed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is deceiving, as the bat is only 1.5 inches thick, but the sound coming from it makes it sound like it's got a huge array of speakers inside. Then, there's the wireless subwoofer, with its 2 (relatively) huge side-firing woofers. Awesome. The voices come thru clearly, and the music fills the room. It also works very well with the TV's speakers and Q-symphony. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my bedroom to be used with an old plasma tv that support ARC HDMI Input. The sound quality is there. The bass shakes the room, can feel it. Wireless subwoofer works flawlessly. The bar is thin and is not noticeable at all under the TV. I have an SVS subwoofer and Bowers speakers in another room and I can say this S800B does an excellent job for a Soundbar. Go for it.

However the interface for control and bar sound mode selection is difficult to use. Example I have no on screen feedback telling me exactly what mode the bar is operating in. So I just surf the controls to find some sound mode the seems best for the entertainment I am viewing.

The q symphony is the difference maker especially on wifi and tuning it through smart things. For some reason the bass was low but after connecting wirelessly to the TV is just woke up. I went and then ordered a Q700B as well for myself!

The Dolby Atmos 360 Sound works very well, as the multiple speakers in different directions in the soundbar do a great job of conveying the idea of direction and depth of the sounds as you hear them in a 360 environment surrounding you.

Haven't had this long but loving it. Complete control from my phone, start Spotify, it plays my music! So easy to set up and use with the smart things app. I love the sound quality, its all music to my ears! Remote uses the same usb-c cable to charge up as my phone does!! No batteries!! Love having this in white.

I really love this sound bar! I bought it because of the slim design because I hate bulky things and I must say, for a bar so thin , it packs great quality sound and the little woofer shakes everything in my house. I'm always exited to hear it everyday when I watch a movie. I definitely recommend this bar to everyone!.

I was able to balance the volume of my soundboard against my subwoofer. Although it's sleek look and lightweight sound bar looks and feels low budget looks are deceiving in this case. I bought speaker yesterday,It has micro HDMI and HDMI combinations,sometimes its hard to get the cable or adapter.Samsung supposed to provide it for customers convenience.It doesn't cost big$$$$,only $5-15 .It should mention on product specifications micro Hdmi.I have to buy three cables to match it,waste of time.

the sound is good. the bar looks great with our frame tv. when we attemp to make the alexa play on the sound bar it was giving us issues. it would say music is playing but it wouldnt play. this happened on all of our alexa's. it should just work without having to fiddle around with it forever. i gave up.

Then I decided to try it and wow I am impressed for its size it produce great sound. It works well with my Qn90b the q symphony was great. I liked being able adjust audio equalization thru the smarthings app. I highly recommend this soundbar.

I have created the perfect surround sound system that i use for movies and I can always configure the mode to music and Dolby Atmos will focus on equalizer and other settings that make music sound much better and more punchy.

I have been using this for 4 weeks now and I am absolutely astounded by the output of this sound system. My wife and I are hearing things from what we are watching than in the past must have been just passing us by. Voices are clear and we are enjoying the watching of movies like never before.

I bought this last month, thinking there was a way to install it on the wall without seeing any wires (as it's shown in every promotional image on the site)  — however, that is NOT the case — and the power cable now hangs down beneath it. Unless I'm missing something? Sounds nice; looks bad.

Also not sure if the one I received was just defective but my subwoofer stopped working on the first day I ended up sending it back and I plan on buying something more powerful when I can afford it.

With the subwoofer it literally sounds likes you in a theater. Samsung products aren't cheap unless you can catch a sale but it's worth the money. I'm satisfied with the product.

If placed in the right area of your room the soundbar gives you the feeling of being in a theater watching a movie. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Dec 2022 to go with a new samsung TV. The pair use what's called q symphony which allows all the speakers to be used from both the tv and sound bar to work as one unit. Overall the sound is great not much adjusting needed. Only downside is the soundbar doesn't use eARC just ARC through one port, so everything needs to be connected to the TV then the TV to the soundbar, no optical connection either. It's very long for a soundbar which should fit under a 55" or larger, but the depth is extremely slim compared to the Q800 model that I saw in a retail store. Overall love the soundbar thinking on picking up the matching rear atmos wireless speakers soon to finish it off. If you need alot of connections directly to your soundbar or need a digital display on it, this soundbar is not for you. For everyone else, especially samsung tv owners who can use Q Symphany, want to have a very flush mounting soundbar, the HW-S800B is an excellent purchase, with the option to expand to a full 5.1(2).4 system.

It's all distorted and so jumbled up that I could make the sense of it. Tries all configurations including wifi, the mini hdmi and bluetooth but no difference.

There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue. First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device. Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If this still does not correct any distorted audio, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The LED display changes as follows: White moves from left to right and right to left, and the middle LED blinks Cyan 3 times. Then the middle LED will blink RED and turn off. Bought this slim sound bar to flush mount beneath the frame TV. Sound bar looks good wall mounted. Sound is ok. Acceptable for me in a small living room. Annoyingly, this was supposed to be designed to mount with the frame TV, exactly as I have, but Samsung chose to design the cable ports at opposite ends of the bar and facing outwards. Why? The TV uses a single port in the centre, which makes sense. The cable ports are more than a stud spacing apart and you would obviously use studs to mount the TV. Now I have more holes in the wall than necessary and have had to route them through studs. Super frustrating. Not as frustrating as the fact that eARC and Q-Symphony have already stopped working. When you buy a Samsung product you know that it won’t work properly and won’t last very long but you hope for a bit of a grace period where the basics work. Not to be. Second Samsung soundbar I’ve had which stopped working within 6 months. Time for another brand and to patch up all these unnecessary holes I now have in my wall.
