If I could give this microwave 0 stars I would! In less than 2 years it started smoking and Samsung won’t do anything about replacing it. The good guys have told me that they get a lot of returns of this microwave for the same issue and they haven’t taken it off the market. Why are they still selling a faulty product? If I could give their customer service negative stars then I would!

Only had the microwave for a couple of weeks but so far so good. Mainly use a microwave for reheating and defrosting - which it is doing without issue. Still getting familiar with all the different power settings (old microwave said High, Medium etc rather than a number). Looks good, although as many reviews said you cannot see inside when it is cooking - but in my case that has not been an issue. Like the black - only issue is that the button to open the door scratched very easily and there are three small but distinct scratches on it.

You can get cheaper microwaves with the same features. The styling suited my kitchen. I only have one gripe, the microwave stops on the defrost function after the first 10% (approx.) of the time has done. This drives me absolutely nuts and is a massive timewaster. Most microwaves just beep 3 times to remind you to flip the content. Does not appear to be a setting to disable this. If I had known this, I absolutely would not have bought this product. Could be a specific defrost function (poultry vs other) but haven't worked it out

Overall not bad but I am really disappointed with the lighting - the bulb is not very strong and the glass on the door is extremely dark, so you cannot see inside whilst the microwave is in use. This is not great when melting butter, chocolate etc when you need to supervise the melting process and its awful when you want to heat gravy or boil water, for exactly the same reasons. On those grounds (and the clunky defrost functions) I would not recommend this microwave.

I love how you can turn off the obnoxious beeping. I can now use the microwave without worrying about waking my toddler. It is quiet while running too, and looks stylish on my black benchtop. The downside is it's a bit under-powered compared with my old 1200W Sharp so things take 25% longer to heat. And you can't see through the door. But that's a trade-off I'm willing to make for peace and quiet.

Bought this microwave a couple of months ago. It works as one would expect a microwave to work but at night, I can’t see the buttons at all. I just have to guess from experience and feel where the correct buttons are that I need. I should have checked before purchase that the control could be illuminated if necessary.

Works as it should and the noise is quiet which is a bonus. Larger than my last so great for larger dishes but take longer time to cook things Haven’t used the other assortment of buttons except timer and cook but they work great Like esp the economy mode button to save power and turn the lights off

I purchase this microwave 2 weeks ago and I am extremely impressed by how well it works. I am able to cook and reheat everything with ease. There is no fussy buttons or dials on the machine which make it so easy to use…. It’s very user friendly. I would highly recommend this Samsung microwave.

I had to buy a new microwave and was able to get the details about each microwave quite easily. As I don't usually order online, it was very helpful with how easy it was to order and then follow the links as to when and where I could pick up my item. It was easy to install and works great.

Purchased it 2 weeks ago. Buttons are are to push and you need to push them very hard. Very strange why they are not that much sensitive like normal microwave. Defrost also doesn't work properly and gives error constantly and stops in the middle of process. Not sure what is wrong with it.

Only 3 months old and already starting to fault (mysteriously starts when empty, number panel temperamental). Doesn't heat like previous brand despite same advertised power level. Very uneven heating. Looking for a replacement already - not worth the effort of trying to return it.

The colour is great. The size is perfect for heating up anything and everything. It also fits perfectly into the standard microwave shelf. The buttons need to be pressed quite firmly. The numbers are a blue light which I’m not a fan of, white light would be better but no biggy.

Really unhappy with the light in the microwave when the door is closed and it is cooking. It is so dark that I cannot see how it is going, for example if the water in the vegetables is boiling yet or if my sauce is boiling ready to stir or boiling over. Very disappointed

Its well priced, easy to use and good design. The backlight is very low so its impossible to see the buttons/numbers in the dark (bad for mums trying to heat bottles in the night!) The door is tinted so you cant see the food rotating but that doesnt bother me at all

Great exterior and size however clunky and slightly cumbersome to operate. The final test will be longevity compared to the LG which lasted 2 years and rusted in months. Heating good defrosting good and auto reheat good for large decor thermo cup soup is excellent.

Our new microwave is so much quicker and better at heating that our old one. Our only negative would be that the buttons are quite difficult to press so we've found that you have to hold the microwave to push it. Overall we are really happy though.

I’ve had this microwave since September 2022 and now it doesn’t heat up food. I put left overs in for 10 minutes and it was still cold but the bowl was warm. Now the microwave doesn’t heat up at all.
