I am a long-time Samsung customer, and most of the products in my home are from Samsung. The refrigerator is quiet and performs well overall. I especially like the side racks, which can hold large 3L milk bottles up to six using both sides. However, the cooling requires a lower temperature setting than expected. I also faced some design issues: the freezer’s plastic tray bin cracked when food stuck to it ( Samsung replaced it), and the rubber seals on the upper doors appear to tear due to rubbing during regular use. Overall, it’s a good refrigerator, but improvements in material quality and design details would make it better.

Avoid at all costs. Search ‘Samsung fridge compressor issue’ to see the droves of unhappy Samsung customers. And don’t believe the warranty - they have fine print to ensure Samsung only covers $250 of the $1200+ bill despite this being a common issue. Don’t join the unlucky souls who have learned the hard way to never buy a Samsung fridge again. Save yourself thousands money and go with a trustworthy brand

I bought this fridge 2 months ago. It was a good fridge so far. The only thing is when we purchase this fridge directly through Samsung that they never mentioned that the delivery does not include an installation which we need to hire a trolley to jack up the fridge from the bottom of fridge to remove the stereoform packaging. There is no clear instruction on how to remove the bottom side packaging on the manual either. We could have jacked up at the wrong side of the fridge and could have damaged the fridge. Samsung Australia sales team need to tell every buyer about this or Samsung can at least give an option if they can include an installation services as part of the delivery of the fridge!

Got this a month ago and absolutely love it. Great value and just what we needed. Looks smart and stylish. We had a fridge and tuckerbox freezer and wanted to get rid of both and wanted just to have the one unit and this is it. As we bulk cook meals and cook up meals for our boy (greyhound), we needed extra space with the freezer. This gives us plenty of space to hold a few weeks worth of meals for all o us. The bottle door bins are massive holding 6 x 1.25lt bottles each. Plenty of space and easy to get to everything in the fridge without having to crouch down every time to get to the back of the fridge. We have had great success with all our Samsung products. I always go back.

Pros: • shelves everywhere including the freezer door •plenty of room •ability to split one of the shelves into two different heights. •great build quality •clean design and no beverage centre taking up space. Absolutely gutted with the purchase. After a couple of weeks, condensation started to form on all the surfaces of the fridge including all the 4 front doors and the 2 side panels. Samsung blamed the condensation on the ambient humidity in my house but was not prepared to carry out further tests to measure the actual humidity to prove that this was indeed the cause. I previously had another fridge of a different brand for 5 years and there was no condensation whatsoever. It is clear to me that the thermal insulation of the fridge has been compromised. I do not recommend this fridge to anyone.

Love the fridge has heaps of space. Shelves are nice and deep. One thing that I dislike immensely is it is advertised as anti finger print finish. This is definitely not an anti finger print finish I am forever wiping finger prints off the fridge and it frustrates me to noende

New home - new fridge and this one is proving to be just great. It's really spacious (haven't managed to fill it yet) and the moveable door bins make it easy to fit everything in. I've rearranged mine and they work even better now, They are all really deep so can store a large amount - from large bottles to small jars. A big selling point for me was the storage volume of the freezer and this drew me to the french door rather than side by side type. As both right and left doors are of equal width, there's more space in the french door freezer than the side by side. My only negative is that the stainless steel finish does show more finger marks than my old stainless fridge but this is easily solved by using the handles rather than the door edge. Some members of my family seem to find this difficult though. I love the small drawer between the two crisper bins too. It's great for those small items which get a bit lost. Overall a great purchase and I'm really happy with it.

I bought this refrigerator as a replacement to my old French door refrigerator, that stopped working after 8 years. I love the plug and play settings of Samsung products where factory default settings are good enough to get going, which makes my life easier than resetting and fine tuning the settings. This refrigerator has ample space (even in the freezer) compared to my old 719L French door. Keeping my veggies a lot fresh and the ice cubes are ready within no time. What else you need from this beautiful looking yet practice fridge. Customer service was above and beyond. When I thought there was a scratch on the door they were ready to help and replace the door. However I realized that I haven’t removed the plastic film on the door LoL. I started loving this product and I can’t wait to try another Samsung products.

Great fridge except for one aspect. The left top door is much harder to close that the more commonly used right hand door and so it’s easy to give the left door the same gentle force to close it as the right. But it doesn’t shut tight and so a minute or so later when the door open alarm goes you have to go back to the fridge to properly close the left door.

We had a Samsung refrigerator for 15 years without any problems. Decided to purchase Samsung again. And we are not disappointed. We love our new fridge, the features are amazing, the layout great, so easy to navigate around. The water and icemaker are unique, inside a special compartment within the fridge, which does not take up hardly any space. The freezer section is fabulous too, several compartments and shelves, so easy to see everything. We also love the matte black finish on the outside of the fridge.

I recently bought the Samsung 649L French Door Refrigerator (SRF7100S), and I really like it so far! It has a sleek silver finish that looks great in my kitchen, and it’s incredibly practical too. The fridge has plenty of room, and the layout is really smart, making it easy to organize everything. There’s enough space for large trays, weekly groceries, and more, without feeling cramped. I like the freezer with its drawers, which make it easy to store and access frozen items without having to dig around.

I replaced my Samsung side by side fridge -that I loved, after 12 years of loyal service with a new Samsung French Door 7000 series. OMG!! I love! Love! Love! this Fridge. Any excuse to go to it! It looks beautiful inside and out! Beautiful clean SS finish outside opens to a spatial interior, a real entertainer. The Freezer is great too, the shelves on the doors are perfect for little bags and smaller items. And today I realise that a I had a small drawer for cans!! it just keeps giving. I'm so happy!!

It looks perfect in our kitchen, quiet when it runs, good size freezer too. The only thing could be improved is, the ice drawer is a bit awkward to open, can’t open fully when it’s inside the fridge as it will hit the front of the shelves

Great price and excellent service from Appliances Online, fridge was delivered the next day, unpacked with empty box taken away. If anything, probably just the way French door fridges are designed, there are limited spaces for taller bottles. Our traditional top mount fridge has 2 full rows on the door for tall bottles, but this fridge only has the equivalent of 1 row that can accommodate tall bottles (half row on each door). Some thing to consider if you are looking for a French door fridge.

We opted not to have plumbed and ice machine models so no future mechanical breakdown and filter maintenance issues which also means more storage capacity. The large door holders are sturdy and practical for drinks. The proportion of fridge to freezer suits us so well that now we don’t need a 2nd fridge. Samsung delivery and pick up was on time, well communicated and seamless.

We're big on fresh fruits and vegetables, and our previous crisper drawers always felt too small and didn't maintain optimal freshness. The "Big Crisper" in this fridge is a revelation. It's truly massive, allowing us to store a significant amount of produce without squashing anything. More importantly, we've noticed a significant improvement in how long our fruits and vegetables stay fresh and vibrant. Less food waste means more money in our pocket, and that's a win-win!

It was a gimme that we would buy another Samsung French Door fridge, it was just a matter of which one for our new kitchen. We wanted to keep it simple and the removeable ice maker was a real deal maker as we don't use it during winter but always during summer, just makes the fridge so much more flexible. The deep door storage shelves also make access to often required goods much quicker once you know the layout...all in all, again, a great product...

Fabulous fridge. Love the design and ease of use. Didn't think I could get a French door for a small space, so really pleased with this option. Space in both the fridge and freezer is well designed. Fridge shelves, drawers and door storage makes best use of the space. Pull out drawers in the freezer create separate storage areas and easy access. No annoying motor noise. Fabulous!

This is my second Samsung and I wish the ice tray from my first fit. This one you have to take the whole tray out and lift the ice maker part off to access the ice underneath… the good old draw underneath in the old designs was much better. Something to note, this fridge has very little room for error when you are going through a doorway; so if you have a few I’d recommend something that isn’t as deep. Other than that my last Samsung lasted years and I’m hoping this one will be the same, it sings every time you open it, like it’s happy you’re snacking too. The option to easily drop the temperature of the fridge or freezer comes in handy if you are putting anything not cold in bulk in & the fact that the freezer compartments are all draws (even the ones open at the front) makes accessing the frozen goods nice and easy. Great fridge overall but I will be looking for an alternative ice maker and I am not looking forward to moving.

I really love my new refrigerator from Samsung. It is simple (no plumbing connection required), very quiet and doing the job. It is convenient to use as well with very good internal design. So far so good, thank you Samsung. The only issue I had with Samsung was delivery time, but it is not related to the quality of the refrigerator.

Love the fridge, huge adjustable shelves, good Door space, cute reminder if you leave it open. Good 4 drawer freezers but the most useless and space-taking ice block maker. You can't take the lid off, blocks are tiny, yet it and the associated bucket basically fill one of the freezer compartments. Needs a slide in ice block drawer.

Great sizing and I can open the draw without needing to open both doors. The missing space is taken up with the drinks draw, which admittedly is small. But still convenient. Do have to be careful on the lefthand door as it does tend to not shut fully on occasion.

Great fridge - tons of space. The layout is very adaptable with generous freezer space. Only ding is that the left-hand door of the fridge does not auto-close (needs a little more of a push than I am used to in an American fridge) but that is easy to adapt to.

I was seeking a slim french door fridge that would be less than 90cm in width, and not too deep, either. The colour really pleasantly surprised me. It’s like this fridge has a soul and I can feel that ‘he’ is happy to be here. It sings when I open the door, and it’s really cute. The stainless-steel borders around the inner shelving and the crystal looking freezer bins are also amazingly cute. However, I am a visual person, and I wish the door shelves could have been lower, like, spread out lower – and so that the crispers be made smaller - c'mon, this won't convince me to drink less soft drink, or eat more veggies and fruit hahaha... And that the door shelving be made slightly, ever slightly deeper, taking away from the depth of the inner shelving for more balance. I almost swapped this for an LG 530L of very similar dimensions. In the end, I didn’t, because the LG was way too ‘shiny’, and as I had worked with fridges during uni days, I knew that their kind of ‘steel’ would dent and ding easily; amongst other reasons including that this fridge had the opposite problem – the inner shelving were too shallow, and the door shelving were too deep/big, and I had read elsewhere about air filters needing to be changed, noisy compressors, and slamming doors. Samsung 488L is a tall, dark, and handsome fridge, even with the ‘high’ bottom door shelves.

We've had the SRF7100 for about a year now and so far quite pleased with the Samsung french door. The versatile fridge storage including split shelf is fantastic for efficiently fitting in large things like lettuce containers and jugs, the door tubs are ergonomic and the freezer drawers are large and easily accessed. No complaints with the performance, noise, etc. The stainless steel surface grubs up with fingerprints easily and can also scratch, so take care with magnets etc that you may use. Getting the fridge level and aligned on an uneven surface was quite troublesome, the front corners can be adjusted independently but at the rear there are just rollers, so I had to use a bit of masonite under one corner to get it level. Thankfully there is a degree of adjustment to the doors in order to help get them evened out. The only real gripes after a year of use are from the french door operation, which might be common to other brands. Firstly, the flap on the left fridge door that seals against the right door occasionally doesn't behave as intended, and when you go to close the left door it can whack against he right door instead of going down its track. Secondly, because of the extra effort to close the left door, sometimes you fling it shut and it doesn't actually seal, but it does close enough that the light will not operate and the alarm will not sound, so you can end up with the door ajar all day or night without realising.
