Using the Water Dispenser Control Panel

Control panel: Type 1

Control Panel Functions

Ice Type: Cubed Ice & Crushed Ice

Touch the Ice Type button to change the ice type. Each time you touch the Ice Type button, the Cubed and Crushed ice modes alternate, and the Cubed or Crushed ice icon lights up, thereby indicating your selection.

Lighting

Touch the Cubed button for 3 seconds to set the Dispenser LED lamp (under the display) to continuous mode so that it stays on continuously.

If you want the Dispenser lamp to come on only when someone uses the dispenser, touch this button for 3 seconds again to turn the continuous mode off.

Ice Maker Off

Touch the Ice Maker Off button for 3 seconds until the Ice Maker Off indicator lights up.

Filter Reset

After changing the water filter, touch the “Crushed/Hold 3 sec for Filter Reset” button for 3 seconds to reset the water filter. The color of the indicator changes from red to off.

To Dispense Ice:

1 Choose the type of ice by touching the cubed or crushed button.
2 Push the Ice lever dispenser (1) gently with your glass. Ice will be released from the dispenser.

To Dispense Water:

Push the Water lever dispenser (2) gently with your glass. Water will be released from the dispenser.

Using the Ice & Water Dispenser Together:

To get Ice and water, push the Ice lever (1) first for ice, then move your glass down and press the water dispenser lever (2) for water.

Note: 

  • If you push the Water and Ice lever at about the same time, the dispenser operates only the option you actually selected or pushed first.
  • Please wait 1 second before removing the cup after dispensing water to prevent spills. Do not pull out the lever dispenser after dispensing ice or water. It goes back into position automatically.

Control Panel Functions

1. Water/Lock (3 sec)

Water: To dispense chilled water, press Water. The corresponding indicator turns on.

Lock (Dispenser panel/Dispenser lever): To prevent the use of the dispenser panel buttons and the dispenser lever, press and hold Water for more than 3 seconds. If you press and hold the button again for more than 3 seconds, the dispenser lock will be deactivated.

Note: 

  • The lock on the dispenser panel does not affect the controls on the main panel.
  • To lock the main panel, use the Control Lock function on the main panel.

2. Cubed Ice

Press Cubed Ice to dispense cubed ice. The corresponding indicator turns on.

3. Crushed Ice

Press Crushed Ice to dispense crushed ice. The corresponding indicator turns on.

Using the Water/Ice Dispenser

To Dispense Ice:

1 With the Ice Maker enabled, press Cubed Ice or Crushed Ice to select the ice type. Step 2. Put a water glass under the dispenser, and then push the dispenser lever with the glass. Ice will be dispensed from the dispenser.
2 Put a water glass under the dispenser, and then push the dispenser lever with the glass. Ice will be dispensed from the dispenser.

To Dispense Water:

1 Press Water on the dispenser panel.
2 Put a water glass under the dispenser, and then push the dispenser lever.

Note: 

  • The dispenser will stop dispensing if you keep pushing the dispenser lever for about 1 minute. To dispense more water, release and push the lever again.
  • Make sure the glass is in line with the dispenser to prevent the dispensed water from spilling out.
