Purchasing Apps on my Samsung Phone

There are several apps on the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store. Some of them ask for payment to use. Follow the below guide to learn how to purchase applications from the Google PlayStore & Galaxy Store from your Galaxy Phone or Tablet.

You can purchase apps and digital content on Google Play using payment methods from your Google account, and likewise on Galaxy Store. On the Google Play Store, you have many available payment options, such as credit cards, direct carrier billing, PayPal, and Google Play credit. Also, on the Galaxy Store, Apps can be purchased with a credit or debit card, Samsung Pay, phone billing and so on. If it is your first time making a purchase, your payment method will be added to your Google account or Samsung account. You must sign in to purchase an app on Google Play Store and Galaxy Store. 1. Google Play Store

Add a payment method
Step 1. On your Android mobile device, open the Google Play Store app.
Step 2. Tap Menu and then select Payment methods.
Step 3. Under Add payment method, select the payment method you want to add.
Step 4. Follow the instructions > The new payment method will be added to your Google Account.

Remove a payment method
Step 1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app.
Step 2. Tap Menu and then select Payment methods.
Step 3. Select More payment settings.
Step 4. If asked, sign in to pay.google.com.
Step 5. Under the payment method you want to remove, tap Remove and then Remove.

The payment method will be removed from your Google account.

2. Galaxy Store

Register or change your credit card information
Step 1. Open Galaxy Store.
Step 2. Tap Menu and then tap Payment methods.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions to register or change your credit card information.

Register a coupon
Step 1. Open Galaxy Store.
Step 2. Tap Menu and then Select Coupons and gift cards.
Step 3. Tap Add icon(+) in the top right.
Step 4. Enter your coupon information, and then tap OK.
Step 5. Then, follow any on-screen instructions.
