Screen Sharing on my Samsung Smart Projector

Go from watching your favourite show on your mobile device to watching on The Premiere. Follow the below guide to learn how to use Smart View & Tap View on your Smart Projector.

* Feature is available on Android 6.0 and higher mobile devices that support Mirror Casting and Apple devices compatible with Apple AirPlay 2. Image simulated for illustrative purposes.

Using SmartThings
1 Swipe down on your screen to access your Quick Settings and tap on Devices

If you are unable to see Devices or Media in your Quick Settings you may need to enable Show media & devices. Please check out our guide Enabling 'Show media and devices' on my Galaxy phone for more instructions.

Tap on Devices
2 Select [Projector] Samsung Projector
Select Samsung Projector
3 Tap on three dots
Tap on 3 dots icon
4 Select Mirror Screen (Smart View)
Select Mirror Screen (Smart View)
5 Tap on Start now
Tap Start now
Using Smart View

Press Home button Home > Source > Connection Guide > Smart Phone > Screen Sharing (Smart View).

1 On your smartphone swipe down on your screen to access your Quick Settings and tap on Smart View to enable setting
Tap on Smart View
2 Locate and select your Smart Projector
Tap on [Projector] Samsung Projector LS
3 Tap on Start now
Tap Start now

You will then be able to view your Phone screen through your Smart Projector.

When you are ready to disconnect from your Projector tap on Smart View icon
Select Smart View icon
5 Select Disconnect
Select Disconnect
Using Tap View

Tap your mobile device on the Projector, you can watch the mobile device's screen through the Projector screen. If you haven't setup Tap View on your compatible Smartphone please check out our guide How to use Tap View and Multi-View for more information.

*When using NFC on TV, Bluetooth on your compatible mobile will automatically activate. Compatible TV and device must be turned on. Only supported by Android OS-based smartphones that support Near Field Communication (NFC) wireless information sharing.

1 Enable Tap View, Tap Sound on your mobile device through the SmartThings app.
Toggle on Tap View, Tap Sound
2 Ensure your smartphone screen is turned on then tap your mobile device on the Projector.
Tap phone on side of projector

We recommend using your mobile device with the cover in place and lightly tap it on the edge of the Projector.

3 Tap on Start now. Once successful your Phone screen will be displayed through the Projector.
Tap Start now
4 When you are ready to disconnect from your Projector tap on Smart View icon
Select Smart View icon
5 Select Disconnect
Select Disconnect
