I bought new Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 watch after doing ally research and reading Samsung provided online documents. When I tried to connect my Google pixel phone to Fit 3. I received a error message for Samsung Accessory Service app "the app isn't available for your device because it was made available for an older version of android".   Connected with Samsung support. Came to know Fit 3 works with limited versions of Android and works only with Samsung devices.  The Samsung document clearly misleads consumers without stating is limitations.  Hope you read this before buying the fit 3 watch.

I bought this for the bargain price of AUD $72 to replace a fitbit charge 5. A 1/3 -1/4 of a fitbit equivalent. It's a good watch & step counter but a poor heart rate tracker. I have set it to use continuous heart rate monitoring. Heart rate monitoring is hit & miss. Okay inside but loses the plot in bright sunlight. Also, useless for weight training. When doing 3 sets of 10 pullups my heart rate never gets above 80. This would put me in elite company of world class climbers. I am not. The heart rate numbers are rubbish. Same with squats etc so it's not the watch placement on my wrist during pullups. But it works fine for walking outside in the dark 😂 Good watch but with problems with optical heart rate tracking.

I was really excited about this fitness watch until I realized it can’t connect to my tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra 5G (512GB), and you’d think such a new, high-end tablet would pair seamlessly with a Samsung fitness watch. Nope—no chance. As someone with one eye due to cancer, this is a big deal for me. I rely on bigger screens to keep track of things more easily, and I assumed Samsung would consider people with disabilities like mine. Instead, they expect me to monitor my fitness on a tiny phone screen. If I could afford a Galaxy S25 or S24 Ultra, maybe I’d have a better experience, but I can’t. Honestly, it’s disappointing—shame on you, Samsung. Never again.

Bought for my child to use just as a watch and track steps and heart rate. It doesn't connect to tablets so I have to use my phone, if I use my phone it won't work and add unless I give it full access to contacts, calendar, location all the time etc. I dont want all that on my kids watch. My husband bought this wearable about a year ago. He wasn't happy with it. I decided to use it instead. I LOVE the looks and face display options of this wearable. In fact I love everything about this wearable EXCEPT THE BATTERY LIFE! I have to charge it twice a day! After full charge it runs to zero after 12 hours - no matter how many functions I disable, nor how many times I do a factory reset! So disappointing! And Samsung Service do nothing to help! Is this specific wearable a lemon and needs to be replaced? Or is this appalling battery performance typical of this wearable? Who knows? I have reverted to wearing my much more reliable Fitbit 5 - which is not perfect by any means but at least it can hold its charge for a few days!

The step counter is inaccurate. Having worn the watch for several daily commutes, it’s clear that the step counter is very inaccurate. I would suggest that it seems to be ‘double counting’. It even counts that I’ve done 30 steps just to reach the bottom of my staircase. Having tried searching for ways to fix the issue, it became obvious that this is an issue for a lot of users. I have tried the suggested fixes from may chat forums, but the issue still remains. This must be a software issue. So with this in mind, my Samsung Fit 3 is useless.

Pros: I dislike the heft of most smartwatches, and this was a perfect fit for me. It is slim and light and the strap is very comfortable. My eyesight is not the greatest, but I found the screen is easy to read and all the actions are intuitive. Cons: I feel that Samsung may have abandoned support for any watch that is not running Wear OS. Granted this is a budget option, but after pairing and connecting to my phone (a Motorola G24) using the Galaxy Wearable App, it would then disconnect after about an hour and pretend from that point that the two had never met before. After trying every solution available (restart watch, restart phone, allow all permissions, run in background, turn off battery saver, reboot watch, factory reset phone...) the problem persists. Will be returning for a refund.

The battery life on this product is shockingly bad. After about a month from purchase, the battery life dropped to 1-2 days (no extreme heat or cold etc). 4 months from purchase and it doesn't even last 24 hours. Everything is switched off to preserve energy - no AOD, no move to show display, no heart monitoring. I made sure the device was updated. Even sent it to be fixed, but they claim there is nothing wrong with it. Not even half a year of ownership and it is a useless piece of junk.

I picked mine up yesterday. I had a Gear Frontier but the battery died. I tried to replace it myself but stuffed it up. In a way I'm glad because this Fit 3 is lighter and has all the apps on it I used to use anyway. The integration with my phone and phone apps was more seemeless. I love this watch. Because it's smaller my long sleeves cover it well whereas the Frontier was too bulky. Quite impressed how the watch technology jas improved since I bought my frontier just over 5 years ago.

I recently purchased this watch, and while it meets my size requirements and it is quite responsive with some useful features, it unfortunately falls short in a critical area for me: step counting. The step counter is overly sensitive, often doubling my steps when I walk and even counting steps when I simpli move my arm. This inaccuracy makes it unreliable for tracking my daily activity. If you are purchasing this watch for this feature, I cannot recommend it.

I ordered the pink version for myself and it is pretty and comfortable. You can change the display from your phone and also edit what you track, what widgets go where and even receive notifications from your phone. I find the step counter to be quite shoddy and if you aren't essentially swinging your arms while walking, it might not be counted. I'll walk 4km on the treadmill and the counter will only pick up 1km. Luckily you can put the right information for this after the treadmill session. I do enjoy tracking my heart rate though. It seems to be very accurate. You can't connect this to the treadmill since it doesn't have nfc. It is also good for tracking sleep and the battery life is great. Worn for 3 or 4 days and I'm only at 63%. You can charge it using your smartphone. Not good if you want an accurate step counter however for other trackers it is good.

Watch was easy to set up and the display was lovely and clear. However, I bought it specifically for its ability to send SOS alerts to emergency contacts and it can't do that. In order to send an SOS message you need to complete the process on your connected phone, which makes the SOS process on the watch pointless. I haven't tested the watch beyond this function.

I've tested the heart rate monitor against my pulse ox because I get tachycardia. It's the same or similar every time. The sleep patterns is interesting as I have issues there also. You can track exercises too. Definitely worth it for the price.

The Fit3 can be used when you are swimming in a pool or the sea where the water level is not deep. The 10 minutes you are referring to is used as a test for the ATM rating of the watch, which is 5, meaning that it can be submerged in up to 50 m of fresh water. Overall, this device has an IP68 rating, meaning that it has been tested for up to 30 minutes in 1.5 m of fresh water to meet the rating requirements. After using this product for about a month, I can say that this is very avergae, expecially compared to other fitness watches of similar price range, and Samsung's own range. This a very stripped down device where some really simple, and relatively easy feature do not seem to be available. Pros: Bigger screen with bright display Relatively quick; though still new, navigating through the watch always seems really fast and responsive. When the trackers work, they work well (give or take a margin of error) Fantastic battery life that lasts days even though I'm relatively quite active. Cons: Disconnects a lot when excersising, even though my phone is in my pocket/hand. It continually stops the workouts and asks if I'm still working out even if the auto pause has been disabled. Most of the time it's stupid as the notification is shown the moment I start the workout. No sound so you won't get any update on your workout - which leads to the next point that the vibrations is pretty weak. So, if the workout stops to ask if you're still working out, you'll never know unless you're constantly checking the watch. Very limited customisation capabilities. If you start a workout on your phone instead of the watch, what your watch tracks becomes really limited. Instead of having the ability to pauce, track time, distance, etc, the watch will only show your heartrate and the option to stop the workout/disconnect from the phone. I would've thought this would've been the standard as it is the standard accross Samsung's own watch range, and other fitness bands.
