• Wireless: Smart Switch Mobile installed on both the receiving and sending device.
Restore wirelessly via a Windows phone
ITo transfer wirelessly data from an old Windows phone to your new Galaxy device, you will need to take action on both devices, at the same time, going back and forth from your old device to the new one. Please pay attention to the instructions as we indicated if a given step is done on your old Windows phone or your new Galaxy device:
Supported Windows phones
• Wireless transfers: Windows OS 8.1 or 10
Content type transferred from a Windows phone
The data transferred from a Windows phone includes: contacts, schedule, photos, documents, videos (DRM free content only), and music (DRM free content only).
Some data may not be transferred, depending on the manufacturer and OS version of the device. For example, content with DRM (Digital Rights Management) applied cannot be transferred to Smart Switch.
