Samsung Blu-ray player - Netflix will no longer be available on this device
Due to technical limitations, Netflix will no longer be supported on some devices Blu-ray players beginning on December 1st, 2019. Some older Samsung smart TV's are also affected by this change. In the future, Netflix can be viewed from many other devices capable of connecting to your TV, or directly from your smart TV.
The provided information refers to Blu-ray players sold in Canada. The available settings and options may differ for devices sold in other countries.
The Netflix app will be available on your player until December 1st, 2019. It will be removed from concerned models after that date. We regret that decision but this is not affecting only Samsung's Blu-ray players. Older devices from all manufacturers will be affected by this decision taken by Netflix.
Although some of our older Blu-ray players will no longer support Netflix directly beginning December 1st, 2019, many other devices you may have connected to your TV are still supported. You can find a list from Netflix at netflix.com/compatibledevices. As long as you have one of the supported devices, like a game console, streaming media player, or set-top box, you'll still be able to watch Netflix on your TV.
