Notes:

  1. The DV input on the DVD recorder is compatible with Digital Camcorders only. It is not compatible with set-top boxes, PCs, or other equipment.
  2. The coaxial cable output on the DVD recorder is a passthrough connection only. This means that there is an internal splitter, and the signal coming from the coaxial output is exactly the same as the signal going into the coaxial input. To view the signal generated by the DVD recorder, you must connect your TV using composite video, S-Video, component video, or HDMI cables.
  3. For DVD-VCR combo units, the S-Video and component video outputs are for DVD playback only. To view VCR playback, you must use either the composite video or HDMI connections. It is possible to use component video or S-Video cables for DVD playback and composite video for VCR playback at the same time. The HDMI connection will carry both DVD and VCR playback.
