Buy something else. I had the Galaxy Z Fold 3 for five years; it was durable and held up to my expectations right until the very end. Upgraded to the Z Fold 8 Ultra, and it's junk. The technology/features are better, but what good does that do anyone if it's more delicate than a cracker? The inner screen has no real protection from drops or bumps...even while in a protective case. It dropped while closed...in a protective case. The case kept the outer parts of the phone safe, but once I opened it, there were hairline cracks throughout the screen. Also, what started as a small, black "dead spot" is now growing down my screen the more I need to open and close it. A waste of money.

I upgraded from the Galaxy Z Fold 5 to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and I can really feel the difference. I chose the Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted the latest features without giving up the foldable design I already loved.
The improved display makes watching videos and reading much better. The new AI features are also very useful for everyday tasks and help me get things done faster.
The phone feels faster and smoother than my old Fold 5, and the camera improvements are another nice upgrade.
Overall, I am very happy with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It feels like a meaningful upgrade from my Z Fold 5 and makes my daily phone use easier.

I chose this device because I wanted something powerful, reliable, and versatile for everyday use. After using it, I am very impressed with the overall experience. The display is bright and sharp, performance is smooth, and multitasking feels effortless. The build quality feels premium, and the battery comfortably handles my daily routine. I especially enjoy how well the software and features work together, making both work and entertainment more convenient. There are still features I am discovering, but so far it has been an excellent upgrade. I am very satisfied with my choice and would recommend it to anyone looking for a premium Samsung device.

The Fold 8 Ultra is the best in Fold series so far. They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way. The new edit feature that allows you to edit photos and video along with the new filters allow you to create some really cool looking media.

I chose the Galaxy Z Fold because I wanted one device that could do it all, and it has delivered. I've been using the Fold series since the Galaxy Z Fold3 and have owned every generation since. Not because I feel the need to upgrade every year, but because Samsung has consistently improved the experience. The large inner display makes multitasking effortless, performance is always smooth, and it feels like carrying both a phone and tablet in one pocket. Even after all these years, opening the Fold still feels special. Going back to a regular phone now would be hard because the Fold has become such a natural part of my everyday life.

I chose this phone because I'm so in love with this foldable form factor, that I can't go back to a regular phone. Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

I have had Z Fold series ever since they first came out. My last Fold was the 6 series, great product, great size but heavy with a case. I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

The form factor is a bit to get used to. I came from using a s24 ultra to the z fold 8 ultra and so far everything has been tweaked between the 2 devices. I noticed a good decent proformance boost that also adds a great battery boost even though my old phone had a physically bigger battery. So far I'm impressed with everything this phone has to offer. I did notice a great boost in photo compression under full zoom. Where you take a photo and can still read writing after 30x zoom. All in all a great phone. I am curious though as to the durability of the phone because they made it so this. I don't mind the extra heft as long as it adds to battery or usability.

Switched from my Z fold 6 and the phone works excellent. Having the new cameras with improved quality and a more durable inner screen makes a difference. Plus the crease is nearly gone when I touch or look directly into it. The processor is also more responsive than I expected which is worth it when I need to execute tasks. I am however wanting to have the S-Pen functionality back as that would make the inner screen a much more better performance in my daily needs such as sketching/drawing.

This is the best battery performance for the Samsung Galaxy Fold series. Compare to the last 7 Fold series I own, this is the most lasting phone. I use it all day long with all activities including Internet search, checking email and playing games. It last me full day from 8am to 11pm. Usually I have to charge during 4/5pm for a little so it can last till the end of night, now a days I don't need to.
Screen also have a big improvement, I can easily see much better under the sun compare to before. The middle crease also 95% disappeared which makes wating YouTube or playing games have a much better experience.
Overall this is a great phone to own if you want a big screen experience.

I love this phone, I chose ZF8U. I've been on the Z Fold train since the Z Fold 6 and then I ended up with the Z Fold 7, and now I have the Z Fold 8 ultra which I'm stoked about. But I'm extremely extremely disappointed that the Z Fold 7 and the Z Fold 8 ultra do not have S.Pen compatibility, that's my biggest complaint that I have and really my only complaint that I have. I'm insanely disappointed that the Z Fold 8 does not have the S.Pen support, and I'm praying that you guys will bring it back and I want an internal spot to store the s.Pen and the Z fold will be complete in my opinion.

I chose the Fold 8 Ultra because there is no other phone comparable!!! I use my phone for work and personal use. Being able to open my phone to look at spreadsheets and read documents so the words are bigger have been a game changer.
The pictures are always clear! I went to a concert and opened my screen to video the artist and the people behind me did it was like watching TV on my phone, lol!
My only disappointment was that I could not get the tri-fold, but if I get the chance again, I will be the first!!!!! I love my Fold and will never leave Samsung! I chose Fold, I chose the watch, and I chose Samsung!

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I needed a phone that could support my disabled lifestyle. It is great if you have bad eyes, the screen is big enough you can see every detail. I can't imagine seeing my Granddaughter on a smaller screen. This phone makes time spent with her almost seem magical, I feel as if we are in the same room at times. So I appreciate the clarity of the screen and the power of the processor. I also use this phone for music therapy. When my pain reaches it's limits, I calm myself by meditating to the music. In closing I'd like to so Samsung built a solid phone and I am here for it.

It’s stupid thin, stupid fast, and honestly feels like the first foldable that doesn’t need excuses. This thing is slick. When it’s open, it’s so thin it almost doesn’t make sense. The hinge finally feels right — no wobble, no weird resistance, just smooth. The whole phone gives off that “premium without trying too hard” vibe. The Z Fold 8 Ultra is the first foldable that feels fully dialed in. No compromises, no “maybe next year.” It’s premium, powerful, and honestly just fun to use. If you want the best foldable out right now, this is the one.

I’ve been very impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Ultra. The large foldable display is stunning, making it perfect for watching videos, multitasking, and reading. The phone feels fast and responsive, and the battery easily lasts through a full day of regular use.
The camera takes excellent photos in both daylight and low-light conditions, and the overall build quality feels premium. Although it’s expensive, the features and performance make it worth the investment if you’re looking for a phone that can also function like a tablet.
Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Ultra to anyone who wants cutting-edge technology, powerful performance, and a unique foldable experience.

I chose thise phone because it gets better every year. Each year that I upgrade, it is clear how refined, no matter how subtle, this phone gets. Other companies seem to tack on a new number on their phones, in my opinion, each year without many if any changes while the fold gets better and better year by year. I will never go back to a regular phone. Anytime I get the chance to tell someone about my fold phones when they ask, I am very excited to tell them all about it. They are usually worried about it breaking and that's the last thing they should be worried about. I'm a mechanic and I have had zero issues.
TLDR: I chose this phone because it's amazing and I love it.

Out of all the phones Samsung produces, my Z Fold is my favorite. I love the folding design and being able to open it up for a larger screen while still having the convenience of a phone I can carry with me. That versatility is what makes it stand out to me.
There are plenty of phones to choose from, but this is the one I enjoy using the most. It’s the kind of phone that makes me excited to see where Samsung takes its foldable lineup next.
The only other phone I’d really like to try is Samsung’s tri-fold. That concept definitely has my attention, but for now, I’m very happy with my Z Fold. It’s my personal favorite in Samsung’s lineup.

I chose the Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra because I was excited that Samsung nearly perfected the foldable phone to date. I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! Thank you Samsung for your perseverance and not giving up on the fold design.

I am highly satisfied with the upgrade from the Samsung Z Fold 7 to the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra. This device demonstrates exceptional performance across all functionalities. Its enhanced multitasking capabilities have significantly streamlined my workflow, exceeding my expectations. Furthermore, the mobile gaming experience on this iteration is remarkably improved compared to its predecessor. The design of the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra is commendable, characterized by its lightweight and slim profile, with ergonomic curves that provide a comfortable and secure grip. In one word, it is an outstanding product.

I traded the S26 Ultra for my first fold, the 8 ultra. My S26 was a carrier locked that I paid off, but still unable to get on the beta. So I bought my 8 Ultra directly from Samsung and it's been a great experience so far. I truly appreciate the ability to turn it into a small tablet for work purposes. Even with the case on it, the front screen feels more comfortable interacting or texting in the hand. Opening up has a learning curve when texting with two hands now, but my motor skills are getting acclimated to it now. Pictures are just as good as the S26 as well. However my use case of that doesn't require much to make me happy in that regard.

As someone who relies heavily on Mobile devices for both entertainment and daily efficiency, upgrade to the Galaxy Z series Ultra has completely transformed my workflow and leisure time. After evaluable flagships optioned on the market, I choose this device specifically for its promise of unmatched screen, real estate and hardware performance. It has delivered on every front. The premium position of the z ultra is reflected not just in the hardware, but in a piece of mind that comes of purchasing a top tier device, making the decision to invest in this form factor felt justify the moment I unboxed The device and experience is built quality.

Starting from the notification of pre-order to the up-and-running of my Fold 8 Ultra have been a breeze. I received my new phone in the mail ahead of schedule and switching everything from my old Fold 6 was so easy. As for the phone, this upgrade is incredible. The Fold 8 Ultra and as wide when folded as my Fold 6 is unfolded. It's noticeably faster when I'm playing games or loading pictures and videos or using AI editing, so lightweight, and picture quality is an impressive jump in quality. I chose the Fold line for my phone since the Fold 3 and can't imagine going back to standard phones ever again.

The Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra has been a great first introduction to Samsung’s foldable lineup. I use my phone for both work and personal use, and the larger inner display makes multitasking, emails, documents, and everyday apps much easier to manage. When I’m not working, the big screen is also excellent for watching videos, browsing, and social media. I was a little unsure about switching to a foldable at first, but the phone feels polished, fast, and surprisingly natural to use. I especially like having the convenience of a normal phone while still being able to open it up when I need more screen space. Overall, I’m very happy with the Fold 8 Ultra and can definitely see myself sticking with the Fold series going forward.

I've been using the Samsung Z Fold line-up for a little while now, so recently when I traded in my Fold 6 and I chose the new Z Fold 8 Ultra, I was expecting some pretty big upgrades. The larger display makes multitasking on this phone just that much better while also having the slimmest and lightest form I've ever felt. The new anti reflective film and barely visible crease make content look amazing even in bright conditions. Also having cameras almost equivalent to the S Ultra series from Samsung is great for when I'm taking photos of landscapes. Overall a very positive experience and upgrade!

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra without a moments thought. The gorgeous design presents the near limitless functionality of the device just as flawlessly as the endless functions highlight the awe-inspiring cosmetics. To summarize, the brains accentuate the bronze, and vice versa.
Coming from the Z Fold5, the countless improvements on the Fold8 Ultra are received with great enthusiasm. What a difference a few years makes! I'm continually finding new & exciting abilities, and will undoubtedly sustain this volume of unveilings far into the future!

I choose your review for the qualifying devices.Because the phone is really sturdy. Shadowgreen is very deep green and the display is really, really bright. Compared to z fold 7, it has lots of different features. In the application, start your day, it gives me my preplan recommendations. For the whole day for the brief and I really like it.
If I have to pick one phone I will put pick only for ultra 8 Z fold because it's slim and is lighter than my z fold 7 and i'm glad that I purchased this device. I think I was the first one who stayed on the chat for 5 hours to purchase this phone since the morning and I waited for july 22nd since last year so that I can purchase this phone. Hope i win.!!!!

I chose the Fold 8 Ultra because it makes everyday life more convenient. It's very user-friendly, and I can handle almost everything I need from a single device. Whether I'm responding to emails, managing my calendar, taking notes, joining video calls, or multitasking between apps, the larger foldable screen makes those tasks much easier and more efficient.
Instead of carrying multiple devices, I have one that works as both a smartphone and a tablet. It helps me stay organized, be more productive, and accomplish day-to-day tasks without constantly switching between devices. For me, it wasn't just about having the latest phone—it was about investing in a device that simplifies my daily routine.

Been rocking the z fold 4 since launch and was already amazed at how far technology has come. 4 years later, I chose to upgrade to the z fold 8 ultra instead of the wide to keep the same form factor and to think of it as just a spec upgrade. My god was I wrong. The phone has gone so thin that when folded it is the same thickness as a single screen of the fold 4.
I chose the fold specifically for multitasking purposes for work on top of all the gaming, video surfing, and reading manhwas.
Been using the AI feature such as the generative image using photos just taken from camera ever since getting the phone and it hasn't stopped being the talk in the group.
Best phone I have ever used as of yet.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy ZFold 8 Ultra and couldn't be happier with my choice. I have been a long time Samsung phone user and was excited to try my first Z Fold experience. I had an S26 Ultra and made the switch to the Z Fold and am amazed. The phone is incredibly versatile and fits my everyday use as well as multitasking and so much more. The fold experience is truly something special and can't be described until you actually have it in your hands and use it. The phone is thin but very durable and well built. Samsung absolutely nailed the design and overall feel or this phone!

Review Title:
Great for shows and multitasking
Review Message:
I chose this device because I wanted a bigger screen for watching shows, movies, and videos without always needing to bring out my laptop. The foldable display makes everyday use feel more comfortable, especially when I am relaxing, eating, or multitasking. Apps feel smooth and quick, and the larger screen makes reading, watching content, and switching between tasks much better than a regular phone. I also like how customizable the phone is, from the home screen layout to the different ways I can use the cover screen and main display. So far, the fold feature is my favorite part because it makes the phone feel useful in more situations.

I've been a loyal Samsung customer for nearly 20 years, and every new device somehow manages to exceed my expectations. Each generation brings meaningful improvements in performance, design, and innovation, and the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is no exception. The Fold series has completely changed the way I use a smartphone, and it's hard to imagine ever going back to a traditional phone. Samsung's commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction is the reason I continue to upgrade year after year. Thank you for consistently raising the bar. You've earned a customer for life!

I chose to upgrade from my Zfold5 to the ZFold8 Ultra and I'm so glad that I did! The transition was smooth from one from to the other. The size and weight of the ZFold 8 Ultra is so light and comfortable compared to my Fold 5. I instantly felt a difference in my wrists and hands while using the Fold8 Ultra. Its sleek, light weight, and comfortable for one hand usage. The ZFold series always turns heads or starts conversations when I open in public. I will most likely not return to a regular phone after using the ZFold series.

I do a lot of my work on my phone, and the Z Fold 8 Ultra has completely changed how I get things done. The big screen is the star of the show. Unfolded, it gives me real room to work: reading documents, replying to emails, and juggling multiple apps side by side without constantly switching back and forth. Tasks I used to save for my laptop, I now just knock out on my phone.
The features are thoughtfully done and make multitasking feel natural instead of cramped. When I'm done, it folds up into a normal-sized phone that slips into my pocket.
If you're someone who works from your phone, this is the one to get. It's not just a bigger screen, it's a different way of working.

This product keeps improving year after year. My Fold 6 had a noticeably less prominent crease than previous versions, and the Fold 8 feels even more durable and refined in that area.
Performance is another major improvement. The internal storage is extremely fast, making streaming, downloading, and everyday multitasking feel seamless. The dual-screen functionality is especially useful for productivity on the go. I’ve taken work trips where I barely needed to open my laptop because my phone handled nearly everything I needed to get done.
Overall, the Fold continues to become a more capable, durable, and practical device with each generation.

Upgrading from Galaxy Z Fold 6, this was a huge step up for me. I am an engineer working in design field by profession. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me.
From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens.
I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra due to its increased vertical screen real estate on the cover screen. It allows for more information on screen while the keyboard is also present versus the normal fold 8. This device performs above and beyond. Always a pleasure to use, and super fun to show others. 2 things I wish that were different would be the IP68/69 rating like some other foldable, and also to have a completely flat screen when opened, versus having the 2 protruding tabs in center on top and bottom. These are not "bad" or inconvenient features at all, but maybe on the next generation. Overall happy I chose this phone.

Always have been a traditional bar style phone user. I chose the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra because it has always appealed to me. Multi-tasking has always been a need and want and with the Fold 8 Ultra it gets addressed. Run multiple tasks on one large screen truly helps me accomplish work tasks and enjoy personal entertainment as well. Innovation is important to me and Samsung doesn't disappoint. Always one step ahead and sometimes the littlest things make the biggest difference.
I am beyond satisfied with my Z Fold 8 Ultra and would recommend it to anyone looking to tackle the everyday tasks of juggle multiple items while incorporating you and what you do into a device.

Samsung has really taken the foldable experience to the next level. The design feels premium, the phone is impressively thin and light, and the large inner display is absolutely beautiful.
The performance is extremely smooth, multitasking is fantastic, and the camera quality is excellent. The improved hinge and almost invisible crease make the display experience even better.
What I love most is that it feels like having a phone and a tablet in one device. Whether it’s watching videos, working, browsing, or using multiple apps, everything feels effortless.
Samsung has done an amazing job with the Fold8 Ultra. Easily one of the best smartphones I’ve ever used. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Longtime Samsung product buyer, all the way back to early products after experimenting with several brands. I built a new home this year and every electronic device is now Samsung from my bespoke kitchen and laundry to my new phone. I chose the Fold 8 Ultra and love the features and the fact I can run the whole house with Smart things! The new AI (and S pen functionalities returned) is amazing. Definitely would purchase again an more in future. I chose the Shadow Green F8 Ultra and new watch ultra 8! Ultimate compatability and packed with new features, use them all!!

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could handle both work and entertainment without needing to carry a separate tablet. The foldable design is impressive, and the large 7.6-inch main screen makes multitasking, watching movies, gaming, checking emails, and working with documents much easier. I really like being able to use multiple apps on the larger screen, while the cover screen is convenient for quick everyday use. The phone feels surprisingly light for a foldable, and the performance is fast and smooth. The cameras also take sharp, detailed photos. Overall, I’m really enjoying the Z Fold8 and the flexibility it gives me throughout the day.

I chose the Z Fold7 as my last phone, and if you did as well, you know it's a great phone, but if you are considering buying the Z Folf8 Ultra, save your money. It's not worth the upgrade. It's still the same hardware except the battery last a little longer, from what I read. The OS isn't ready 100% yet. I'm a month in and the new "warranty and care" feature still doesn't work and finally the "!" Beside the software update disappeared even though there have been no updates. Long story short, unless you are going to get the the base Fold8 passport style, which is a downgrade, just stick with the Fold7, and buy it from a different retailer.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 because I wanted a phone that could give me the convenience of a regular smartphone while also providing the extra screen space of a tablet when I need it. After using it, I am extremely impressed.
The foldable design is excellent. The phone feels premium and solid, and the large inner display completely changes the experience when multitasking, watching videos, reading documents, checking emails, or working with several apps. Being able to open the phone and instantly have that much additional screen space is incredibly useful.

I chose to upgrade from a fold 5, this new phone is my 3rd fold. Several updates from previous generations fall short. Removing the ability to hide the camera hole from the display when the phone is open honestly made me consider returning the device. It was such a poor choice in change from previous models. The recent updates to the UI, changing it to act as a tablet, have degraded the user experience further. The device is honestly a little too thin in my opinion as well. The buttons are placed better than folds from some other companies though, and the lack of visible crease is a nice improvement over previous generations. Overall a very mid phone for the price.

I chose the Z fold 8 Ultra because i liked having more screen for my movies and youtube. I also like how skiny the phone is even when its folded. Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

This is my second Fold, I have always been a S series Ultra/Note user but I was excited about the Fold series this year, will see if I stick to it in the long run. I chose Ultra over the Fold because of better cameras and easy multitasking as compared to a small form factor. I love how thin it is, not as heavy and bulky as very earlier models of Fold. Battery size is also a big improvement. Anti reflective interior display is also a big plus. Smart switch app is a blessing, it was super easy to transfer everything from my old phone and didn't take super long.

Even when many might think that is "just another yearly upgrade", it is impresive what Samsung as a brand can actually achieve on a span of a year when it comes to improving their products, making it so it feels like a completely different experience from the Fold 7 to the Fold 8 Ultra. It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

I just got the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and so far, I’m really impressed. I upgraded from a Z Fold3, and the first thing I noticed is how much more solid this phone feels. Opening and closing it feels smooth and sturdy, and the overall build feels like a big step up.
Everything runs really well. The phone is fast, responsive, and slick, and everything feels just right when using it. Apps open quickly, the screen responds instantly, and multitasking has been really smooth so far.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Z Fold8 Ultra. It feels like a major upgrade from my Fold3, and so far, I’d definitely give it 5 out of 5 stars.

I chose the Z Fold 8 ultra as my daily driver. I upgraded from the S23 and this is a massive improvement. There are some quirks like the threat of dust in the hinge, but all in all I'm in love with this phone.
I love viewing YouTube videos on this, and while I haven't tried the Z Fold 8, the Ultra seems like the better option since you have more realestate on the inner screen. Multi tasking is awesome as well. I can have my email up while searching something on the web. I'm also optimistic of the new Gemini Task Automation feature.
I think if you are thinking of switching to a foldable phone for the first time this is your best option. The price is hard to get past but if you can get a trade in deal then it's totally worth it.

I upgraded from a Z Fold 5 to the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I use my phone primarily for work and family, mostly running Teams and Outlook.
I chose the Ultra over the Z Fold because I was worried that the Fold wouldn't be tall enough while using the display keyboard. I rate the Fold Ultra 4/5 because I would've like a wider phone, without a shorter height.
I enjoy the upgraded outer and inner displays, as well as the new cameras. Battery life and charging rates are a big win. If only Samsung made the phone wider! I think the current height is good, and I'm amazed at how thin it is. I've coupled it with a MagSafe case, and am really pleased with my purchase.

I chose the fold 8 ultra because I was using a 24 ultra before, and didn't want to lose too much of camera quality. So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

I recently upgraded to the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra from the Galaxy Z Fold6, and my first impressions are very positive. I chose this phone because I wanted the latest Fold experience, and it feels like a meaningful upgrade. It is noticeably light, thin, and sleek, making it more comfortable to carry and use every day. The wider front screen is one of my favorite improvements; it feels more natural for regular phone use, and typing is much easier compared with the Fold6. The large inner display is also great for watching videos and multitasking. So far, the phone feels fast, premium, and well made. The back feels very smooth and premium, but it can be a little slippery, so I would recommend using a case. I am very happy with this upgrade.

I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted a phone that could actually replace multiple devices, and it has exceeded my expectations. The large foldable screen is amazing for multitasking, watching videos, editing photos, reading, and getting work done on the go. The camera quality has also been seriously impressive, especially the detail and clarity of photos. Despite the larger screen, the phone feels sleek and premium, and everything runs incredibly smoothly. I’ve used previous Galaxy Fold models, and this one feels like a noticeable upgrade. It’s powerful, fun to use, and easily one of my favorite Samsung devices so far.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted a phone that gives me the convenience of a smartphone with the larger screen experience of a tablet. I really enjoy the foldable display for watching movies, streaming, gaming, browsing the web, and multitasking between different apps. The larger screen makes everyday tasks more enjoyable, while I can still fold it up and carry it like a normal phone. I also appreciate the smooth performance, display quality, cameras, and all the customization Samsung provides. I use my phone throughout the day for entertainment, communication, and getting things done, so having everything in one device is extremely convenient. So far, I chose the Z Fold because it gives me an experience that a traditional smartphone simply can't. And I've always been team samsung 🙂.

I have been a fold user since the fold 4 and have not gone back. My most recent upgrade was from the fold 6. I chose to upgrade because the size, battery, and internals were all major upgrades and I couldn't be happier. I mainly watch videos on my phone but with the new cameras I am excited to be able to take much better and high quality photos. I was blown away by the difference in weight and thickness of the phone and how much nicer it is it have a more traditional sized screen comparable to other candy bar phones while still being able to use the internal screen. Needless to say I plan on continuing to use the z fold line up as long as they are made.

*The Love at First Swipe*
Oh, how much I love this phone,
My Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra—my tech throne!
Bigger screen that feels like the sky,
Unfold the magic, watch time fly.
*Screen Dreams*
No fold crease here to spoil the show,
Every movie’s crisp; in colors they glow.
Lighter than air, thinner than a breeze,
A gadget so fine it aims to please.
*Grip and Glide*
Fits in my hand like a whispered song,
So easy to hold, nothing feels wrong.
From morning texts to midnight games,
It knows my heart, it knows my name.
*Joy Unfolded*
With every tap, with every slide,
This phone’s my partner, my daily guide.
Oh, how much I love this phone of mine—
Samsung’s wonder, forever divine!

I chose the Z Fold, 7 back in 2025, because of its multitasking and wide array of features. And abilities and switched over to the S26 ultra later that year. And immediately missed my foldable device. So I'm happy to finally have a new foldable. In the galaxy z fold eight ultra to enjoy all the multitasking features on the wide, beautiful screen that they have.Samsung has yet again knocked it out of the park with this device. And can't wait to see what they do next year!

I upgraded from the Z Fold 6 to the Z Fold 8 Ultra. Ultinately, I chose the Ultra over the new wide form factor due to better hardware and good experience with the Fold 6. The Fold 8 Ultra is definitely a significant step up with its thinner, wider, taller body, better feeling hinge mechanism, and upgraded hardware and cameras. I also appreciate how, when it is unfolded, it is more similar to a regular slab phone. For example, the Fold 6, while excellent, was harder to type on with the cover screen. I have no regrets choosing the Fold 8 Ultra!

Got the Z Fold 8 Ultra through the pre-order and honestly, this thing is incredible.
Samsung really fixed everything that used to annoy me about foldables. The outside screen actually feels like a normal phone instead of a weird remote control, and opening it up to that massive inner display is just so smooth. The crease is barely noticeable now, and the battery actually lasts—I'm easily getting through a full day without needing to stress about a charger.
Totally worth jumping on the pre-order for. Easily the best phone I've used in years.

I originally had the Galaxy s26 Ultra but I chose to go with the new Z fold 8 Ultra because they finally updated the camera to a 200 megapixel and honestly this phone is amazing. I could not possibly be happier. It's so big, it makes it so much easier to read my manga and my books on Kindle and it just looks beautiful. I can honestly say this is the best phone I've ever owned. I can't imagine I'll have anything but the full fold Ultra from now. 10 out of 5 Stars.

I love my new Fold 8 Ultra. I chose this form factor instead of the standard because of multitasking. I purchased this phone to replace my Fold 5. I have a hybrid job that sometimes requires me to do administrative task on the fly. It feels like I have a dual monitor in my pocket. It's also great for recreation. Reading books, social media, YouTube, and my gaming experience has been awesome. Coming from an older Fold, I couldn't believe how light weight this phone is. You can't really tell that this is a foldable phone in your pocket. I really like how you can make this phone your own with Samsung Good Lock app. Overall, the experience has been great! I would recommend this phone to anyone looking to do more with their phone besides the basics.

I was an early adopter of foldables. I got a Z Fold 3 when it first came out and I loved it. I eventually became frustrated with the poor camera, awkward front screen size, and ever-worsening crease. So I left. But I'm back now with the 8 Ultra. Front screen problem? Gone, this aspect ratio is the perfect blend of normal candy-bar style without being too wide. Camera issues? These are flagship cameras for a flagship phone (finally!). And the crease? Barely noticeable, especially when consuming content. I fell in love with foldables for the incredible productivity and now it works great for everyday family use as well. I cannot recommend this phone enough!

I recently moved from the Galaxy S24 Ultra to the Z Fold 8 Ultra, and one of the biggest reasons I chose the Fold was for the larger screen.
I travel a lot, so I use my phone for more than just calls and messages. I study from my phone pretty often, and having the larger inner display makes it much easier to read notes, review study material, watch training videos, and multitask without everything feeling cramped.
I also like watching movies or shows while I’m winding down and falling asleep. Being able to unfold the phone and have a much larger screen without carrying a tablet around is a huge plus for me. It gives me that tablet-like experience when I want it, but I can still fold it up and carry it like a normal phone.
Coming from the S24 Ultra, I already had a great phone, but the Fold fits my lifestyle better. For traveling, studying, watching movies, and everyday multitasking, the extra screen space has made the switch worth it for me.

Coming from a ZFold3, I received my ZFold 8 Ultra and noticed the bottom part of the crease disbonding from the base of the phone. You could "feel" the crease in that portion of the phone too vs the rest of the crease. There was also a little movement when lightly pressing on the inner display.
With my ZF3 lasting 5 years, I was hoping to get the same mileage out of the ZF8. I'm a little concerned about the long term reliability for this phone and all the things they're trying to do with the fold.
Hoping the return, refund, re order process is seamless.. ive heard sometimes this poses a snag/headache.
Looking forward to really diving into this phone when I get one not defective. Initial impressions are killer!

I recently upgraded to my new ZFold 8 Ultra, and I absolutely love it! 📱❤️ When I received it, the packaging was nice, and the phone looked amazing right out of the box. Transferring all my files from my ZPhone 7 was quick and easy, just like I’ve experienced with my yearly upgrades.
I love the large screen—it’s perfect for watching videos and movies because I can see so much more! The phone feels great in my hand, the apps are easy to use, and the whole experience is smooth and convenient. The ZFold 8 Ultra has a beautiful design, and I love how lightweight it feels.
I’m very happy with my new phone and would definitely recommend the ZFold 8 Ultra to anyone looking for a great phone! ⭐📱❤️

So far the Z Fold 8 Ultra has been amazing. Blow away with the battery life after switching from a s23 Ultra.
I tried the device several times at a local Best Buy before picking it up and I didn't realize how large it is until I actually set it up with my apps and used it for a few days. It can become fatiguing on my hands with long use. (I have arthritis in the thumbs)
I have had to inner screen bugs one where and app froze and on another where the screen just stayed black. I will keep an eye on it if it gets worse or if it is just a few early software bugs.

Coming from the Fold 6 to the Fold 8 Ultra I am totally blown away by how much of an upgrade it really is. The new bigger battery is definitely noticeable and the upgraded main and ultra wide cameras are awesome! The larger main and cover displays compared to the Fold 6 are a game changer, as is the new hinge. I chose the Green Shadow color and I have to say, it is definitely one of the best looking phones I've ever had.

I chose this device initially as my first flip type device in a very long time. It was a solid device but overall I think there was more effort put into the cheaper ZFold 8 than they did into the more expensive ZFold 8 Ultra. I get that it was a new release but maybe they should have consolidated the approach and held off on the larger ZFold 8 Ultra this year instead of forcing a "Solomon's Choice" on their long-term loyal users. For that reason I went away from Samsung (for the first time in 5+ years) and switched to the new Google Pixel Fold but I still own a ton of Samsung Devices (huge TVs down to tablets and earbuds) and hope that they will slay it next year, give me a great trade-in (consider a "come back to Samsung" bonus to equal how much trading in the Samsung ZFold 8 Ultra would trade in for) and bring folks like me back home.
Keep rocking guys but don't lose sight of your loyal user base.

I like the new Z Fold 8 because it's so light and pretty. However, when I access a specific site, it slows down considerably and overheats. Is it because there are so many advertisements? And they said the battery capacity has increased, but I still don't really feel it. Nevertheless, I generously give you five stars.
Samsung did well!

I was worried that the step up from the fold 7 to the fold 8 ultra wouldn't be noticeable... after all, they look almost identical from the outside. But after using the 8 ultra, I'm fully satisfied that I chose to upgrade.
I've been using the fold 8 ultra constantly all morning long and I'm only at 88% at 1pm. The fold 7 would have been at 50%.
The subtle angling Samsung added to the exterior makes it much easier to open. No more needing to dig your fingernails in the middle of the phone!
The hinge feels stronger, more responsive, and of course the screen crease is hard to find. The anti reflective coating on the inside hides it even more!
So many quality of life improvements, very good phone

The bigger screen has made such a difference for watching videos, scrolling, reading, and having multiple apps open at the same time. Everything feels really smooth, the battery gets me through the day, and the cameras take great pictures without me having to think too much about it.
My favorite thing is how much creativity it gives me. I find myself using my phone for things I never really did before. It feels like having a phone and a tablet in one, and I don't think I could go back to a regular phone after using it.

I've always owned a traditional bar Samsung device. I chose to upgrade to the new Z Fold 8 ultra because of the innovation. It's like a mini tablet and phone bundled into one device. Can focus on one device. The phone overall is great.

When I chose the Galaxy z fold 8 Ultra, I saw a massive 8-inch display. Because I constantly use split-screen multitasking—like pulling up an excel sheet on one side while answering an email on the other—the extra screen real estate makes a massive difference. It genuinely feels like a pocketable tablet. I love that when the Ultra is closed, it feels exactly like a traditional flagship phone (similar to an S-series Ultra). I didn't want a short, wide, "stubby" outer screen; the Ultra gives me a normal aspect ratio for quick, one-handed texting on the go. I converted my wife to Samsung.

I just had to choose this amazing device. All the enhancements that were included in this year's release are truly worth it. Samsung is really pushing the envelope and making great quality devices that are feature-packed. Hands down, this is the best overall package available in a foldable, and I'm happy to be enjoying this device every day. I just can't get myself to put it down!
Thank you samsung 😘

The refinements over the previous model are great. This phone is so slim and light for a folding phone it’s crazy. It’s hard to tell just how slim and light it is from the photos, you really have to have it in hand to appreciate it. I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because of its features and form factor. The inner screen sits flatter than the other options here in the US and the crease is not nearly as noticeable as other phones. Battery life is great with the new 5,000 mah battery. It’s amazing they’ve packed more into a physically thinner phone. I feel like Samsung really listened to the customer base regarding what needed improvement from the previous generations. Highly recommend this phone if you’re looking for a foldable device.

My family and I have used Samsung phones for over 20 years and that was primarily due to their great reliability. We've had every S series and most were usually Ultras. They are fantastic. But now I've moved on to the Zfold8 Ultra and was nervous about the move. I shouldn't have been, this is a spectacular device with excellent cameras and fast charging. The bonus is a big, bright screen! Reading with the Kindle app and editing videos are marvelous. No need to ever carry a tablet in my camera backpack. I can't recommend the S26 Ultra and the Z Fold8 Ultra enough. Top of the line!

I choose the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Ultra because it offers clear improvements over my Fold 7. The phone is good, and the most noticeable upgrade is the reduced crease. The display looks smoother and more refined, making everyday use feel more seamless.
The wireless charging heat issue remains the same as what I experienced with the Fold 7, so that’s one area where Samsung hasn’t made progress.
Battery life, however, is better. The 5000mAh silicon battery retains power longer, giving me more reliable usage throughout the day and reducing the need for mid‑day charging.
Overall, it’s a good product with meaningful upgrades in display quality and battery performance, even though the heating issue persists.

I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra over an S26 Ultra and a Fold 8. In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. However, with the deals, the bundle, and the specs, I ultimately got the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. What I'm trying to say is that this new phone is completely another level—the feel in your hand, its lightweight, thin design, and everything else. Do your research, find the right phone, and enjoy. Cheers!

So I chose to go with the Fold 8 Ultra. Why? I needed the bigger screen, the higher end device. Mostly the bigger screen. I've been using a Fold since the Fold 1. (Wow, how much time has passed.)
What I love most is the size of the screen and the multitasking. It truly is a multitasking beast for a phone. 3 apps opened at 1 time, pop-up multitasking and split screen multitasking.
The longer battery life is also a huge improvement for me. I need a phone to last me as long as the day. And I also needed it to charge fast. Both wireless and plugged in.
Overall it's a great phone. If the Tri-Fold was easily available to T-Mobile, I'd try that next.

I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for 3 days now, and I'm genuinely impressed. The larger foldable display is fantastic for multitasking, watching videos, and reading, while it still folds down to a comfortable size for everyday use. The performance has been fast and smooth with no lag, and the battery easily gets me through the day. The build quality feels premium, and the hinge is solid. Overall, this is the best foldable phone I've owned and definitely feels like a polished upgrade. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a powerful, versatile smartphone.
