How to Install, Arrange, Delete Apps on your Samsung Smart TV?

Quick access to your favourite apps, shows, movies, and games on your very own Smart TV by customising the Smart Hub.

Please note:
• The process in this article is based on 2018 QLED TV. The navigation path for Apps removal may vary in 2016 and 2017 TVs

• TV must be connected to the Internet for one to use Smart Hub

Samsung Smart TVs gives the user access to many entertaining apps or games. Simply select Apps from the Eden Menu at the bottom of the screen. You can either search for a specific app or choose from all kinds of Apps in the Genre section. 


Below are the details on how to access and install apps on your Smart TV.



Rearrange AppsClick to Expand


Most Samsung TVs will have apps pre-installed for you to enjoy straight out of the box. However, once you connect your Samsung TV to the internet you will have the ability to download many more apps to suit you.

After downloading apps to your TV, you can move each app on the Eden Menu, located at the bottom of the screen after pressing the Home button on your remote control in which ever order you choose. 


Below are the steps on how to rearrange your apps




Please note: Icons that do not have the move options cannot be relocated on your Smart Hub interface.

Smart Hub has a limited space and when the memory is full, existing apps need to be deleted to make space to add any new ones. See below for instructions by year  to delete apps and free up storage space from Smart Hub:
