It is recommended to use the 140 W Power Adapter with Galaxy Book Ultra. The Power Adapter is also compatible with other Samsung Galaxy devices that use USB-C, including Galaxy Books, Galaxy Tablets, Galaxy Smartphones, Galaxy Watches and Galaxy Buds. 3

Both 5A and 5A-E cables are USB Type-C cables that support up to 5A of current and contain an embedded electronic marker chip (E-Marker IC).However, the two cable types are different. While 5A cables support up to 100 W power when connected to a 140 W Power Adapter, 5A-E cables support up to 140 W power when connected to a 140 W Power Adapter for higher power delivery. In addition, the plug housing is debossed with '5A' and '5A-E' respectively, depending on the cable type. 4
