I've had this ring for 2 years. I bought it on pre-order and was really excited about the new tech. At first it was great the battery lasted a whole week it eas more comfy to sleep with than a watch as sometime my wrist aches. Sadly though just after the warranty ran out things started to decline. The battery was not holding charge according to the app and the charge case. The ring kept disconnecting from the phone. I tried troubleshooting and did everything that was recommended, full reset and link up, fully charge and update but nothing worked. Its disappointing as Samsung has always been my go to for tech and I've usually had good experiences but for the price of thos product the warranty and build is not good enough.

I have had the ring since they were first available and after 12 months the battery lasted only 2 days and now after 24 months it no longer works at all. with the cost of the ring I am very disappointed that I now have to purchase another ring, unfortunately it will not be a Samsung which is a shame as I have been purchasing all my tech for many years but I cannot trust the quality anymore

Not even worth one star to be honest. I was eagerly awaiting this Ring, then bought it after the Reveal and it worked well and was a purchase I made to wear instead of the watch to track sleep and just in general. Mostly I used both. However, as one customer remarked, the ring began to have issues right after the warranty. I have now had it 2 years and hardly wear it as it is just a black ring. The charging case does not hold charge so the ring is charged through it and not by it alone. Once the ring charged, it drains literally in minutes. I have been advised as it is out of warranty to send in for an inspection, costing £30 to then have a quote emailed. Good God, Samsung are disgraceful. Disappointing is too slight a work. I have loads of tech from Samsung and always impressed with it but his has been over £400 down the drain.

This was bought for me by my now ex partner about 2 years ago as a gift., it did exactly what I wanted it to do. Initially I would wear it for a week no issues, and it was very comfortable. However, after about year, the battery life started degrading, until it would only stay charged for an hour or so. I got round to requesting a repair and not only did I have the pleasure of paying £30 so they could run diagnostics for an issue the app was telling me about, the quote I have just received back in more than a cost of a new ring, after 2 years?!?!?!? I had a choice between and Oura and a Samsung, and chose Samsung because I believed the brand produces quality products. However, in this case, avoid. My ex partners Oura has bought for here around 4 years ago and has not missed a beat.

Avoid — Samsung Ring failed after 14 months and repair cost is almost the price of a new one Fourteen months after purchasing my Samsung Ring, it stopped charging properly and began draining almost immediately. I booked a repair through Samsung, expecting a reasonable assessment given the ring has been well looked after, is in immaculate condition, and has not been overexposed to water. For context, I own several Samsung products, including TVs, phones and other wearables, so I am not someone who is unfamiliar with the brand or its devices. The ring was collected and taken to a Samsung Authorised Service Partner. I paid the £30 fee to have it tested and assessed for repair. Within 24 hours, I received a repair quote for £254. I am not joking — the quoted repair cost is effectively the same as buying a brand-new ring. What makes this even more frustrating is that Samsung still does not seem to understand how unreasonable this is. When I asked Samsung Support what the actual issue was, the only explanation I was given was that the ring was out of warranty. There was no technical detail, no explanation of what had failed, and no meaningful justification for such a high repair cost. Considering the condition of the device, I would have expected at least a proper diagnostic explanation. What is more alarming is Samsung’s position on this. It feels as though their products are not built to last much beyond the manufacturer’s warranty, and once that warranty ends, customers are left facing repair costs that are almost the full replacement price. Based on this experience, I would absolutely avoid the Samsung Ring. There are better wearables on the market with better warranties, better aftercare, and more reasonable repair support.

I had this ring for 2 years. I bought it on pre-order and was really excited about the new tech. At first it was great the battery lasted a whole week it eas more comfy to sleep with than a watch as sometime my wrist aches. Sadly though just after the warranty ran out things started to decline. The battery was not holding charge according to the app and the charge case. The ring kept disconnecting from the phone. I tried troubleshooting and did everything that was recommended, full reset and link up, fully charge and update but nothing worked. Its disappointing as Samsung has always been my go to for tech and I've usually had good experiences but for the price of thos product the warranty and build is not good enough.After spending £400 on the original Purchase and now being advised repair will cost £254 is not acceptable and I will not be purchasing any more. This is disgraceful that Samsung can build such a poor product with built in failure. My concern is that my Ultra Watch is starting to has issues with holding power.

As everyone else the ring is seriously expensive for it to last a year and then become unusable. Mines was out of warranty by 2 months paid £30 for it to be looked at which the app already told me there was a battery issue anyway and was quoted £280 nearly the price of the ring for it to be fixed! The fact it's been completely removed and what appears to be discontinued tells us everything. For a 450 smart health ring it shouldn't be 12 months and nearly the price of a new ring for repair outside of warranty. All my eco system is Samsung and disgusted at this clearly failed product should be refunded and reported to the ombudsman as clearly other users of competitors rings aren't stuck in the same position of Samsung's customers who bought this trash. I asked for the ring to be sent back and is now a very expensive plastic looking ring on my finger that connects for best part of 5 mins then dies. This is also with my galaxy watch in sync so there is no excuse for the ring to have battery issues when the watch is apparently dictating and doing the main legwork with the ring as a secondary back up according to Samsung wearing with a watch it keeps the battery running longer on the ring btw.
