DREAMGROUND APPLICATION U.S. Privacy Notice

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., along with our affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Samsung”) respect your concerns about privacy. This DREAMGROUND APP US Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) applies to the personal information we obtain through using this application. It does not apply to information collected by other apps, websites, devices or services provided by Samsung.
Our US Privacy Policy at https://account.samsung.com/membership/terms/privacypolicy (“Samsung Privacy Policy”) will also apply to your use of Dreamground App, and should be read in conjunction with this Privacy Notice. The Samsung Privacy Policy provides additional information about our personal information practices, including how to contact us. In the event any portion of this Privacy Notice conflicts with the Samsung Privacy Policy the relevant provisions of this Privacy Notice will govern.
Information We Obtain
Through Dreamground App, we may obtain information about you in various ways. The types of personal information we may obtain include:
Information We Obtain By Automated Means
• The App may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Dreamground App. The App does not collect precise information about your IP address, your mobile device's unique device ID. The location of your mobile device does not leave your device and it is only used to provide you with valuable features.
• We may collect facial data by using TrueDepth to run the App. We use TrueDepth API technologies to create AR effects within the APP and to track the movement of a user's facial expressions to transfer them onto 3D characters for character facial animation. The only use of this information is to provide valuable user features. None of the information collected by the TrueDepth API ever leaves the user’s device. We do not share information with third parties, do not store or process in any other way the data which we accessed and used via TrueDepth API.
• The App may also use the third-party platform Firebase Analytics so that we can collect data about how you use the App. Please review the Firebase Analytics Use Policy at https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics and the Firebase Privacy and Security https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• Information about your usage of Dreamground App, including about how, when, and for how long you use Dreamground App.
• With your permission, we may receive your device’s precise geolocation and other information related to your location through GPS. Your device will notify you when Dreamground App attempts to collect your precise geolocation. Please note that if you do not allow Dreamground App to collect your precise geolocation, you may not be able to use all of the features of Dreamground App; and
• We also may collect other information about you, your devices and apps, and your use of Dreamground App in ways that we describe to you at the time of collection or otherwise with your consent.
How We Use the Information We Obtain
We may use the information we obtain through Dreamground App to:
• Improve and customize your experience with Dreamground App, such as delivering content and responses tailored to you and the way you interact with Dreamground App;
• Respond to your requests, inquiries, and instructions made through Dreamground App;
• Operate, evaluate and improve Dreamground App and our business (including developing new products and services; enhancing and improving our products and services; managing our communications; analyzing our products, services and customer base; conducting market research; performing data analytics; and performing accounting, auditing and other internal functions);
• Protect against, identify and prevent fraud and other criminal activity, claims and other liabilities;
• Comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and our policies, including this Privacy Notice and the Samsung Privacy Policy.

As stated above, this Privacy Notice supplements the Samsung Privacy Policy (available at https://www.samsung.com/us/account/privacy-policy), which describes our information sharing practices.

Updates to This Privacy Notice
We will update this Privacy Notice to let you know if we change how we collect and process your information in Dreamground App, if we’re required by law. The date when the document was last updated is shown at the top of this Privacy Notice.
