My first impression is that they look great with the off-white color and sleek design. And although there were some buttons crowding the control panel, I was surprised how easy to use them, without even reading the owners manual. The buttons and controls were self-explanatory and easy to understand. Obviously I will not be able to comment on how well it works and it's durability, but the initial test of both seems a good one and they both worked fine. I like how quiet it operates compared to my old ones. I do hope they will work for a long time without any major issues.

This washer is very much like that last one I owned but much bigger and newer. I love that I can control the water level because some loads do need more water. This is my second Samsung washer without the agitator and I just love it! I also bought a very large dryer. The delivery guy was afraid because it wasn't a matched set. I told him it's exactly what I ordered. The white color is slightly off because of not being a set. But it doesn't matter I just love all Samsung products!

Pros wifi capable so you can see status and control remotely super large tub (didnt realize how small our other bowl was) great for big towels and blankets lots of preset functions user control of almost every function of the washer manually if you want to customize your settings super quiet ability to prewash drawer for detergent and one for fabric softener deep wash, quick wash, delay end and self clean functions Please note you need to use high efficiency detergent. I thought it was simply recommended but the owners manual said regular is too sudsy CONS BIG owners manual :-0

i have had this washer for 2 short months. within one month i had my first service call where a tech had to come out and fix an issue with the door not locking, which he states is a known issue with samsung. if the door does not lock, the cycle will not run so i went a couple weeks unable to wash. well, a couple weeks later here i am again. today, i am experiencing another separate issue and my clothes are now refusing to spin. the washer is a very beautiful piece of crap! i wish i had gone with another option. this is a brand new washer and ive had two separate issues within the short time ive had it. we had our last washer for 15 years without any issue. very disappointed.

The app was a bit difficult to set up at first but, eventually got it figured out. I enjoy the suggestions on the best clean cycle. Reminders on the best time to deep clean the washer itself and notifications on when my laundry is done. Aesthetically, they are very nice looking. Definitely, a little something to spice up a space. Lastly, I've owned samsung in the past. However, theses really seem to utilize the space for more laundry to be done without it getting off balanced. Obviously, do your research and choose what's best for you. BUT thus far these seem to be one of the best I've ever had.

And with the app I can get notified when the washer is done or indicating how long it remains even I’m not at home. (Which is good for mom of 3, I forgot to leave the laundry in the washer overnight few times.) and also there is even laundry receipt for all materials you wash. I like there is special function for my water proof mattress protector and a category in the button just for it. (And you cannot mix with other material laundry.). Overall it’s very good. But I do wish there is a category for cloth diaper since I wash cloth diaper all the time.

I bought this washer 6 months ago, for the second time now the washer will not power on at all. First time Samsung was able to fix without a service tech coming (with a update). However this time I have to wait a week (and it stopped in mid cycle so it's full of dirty water). I would not recommend buying this washer AT ALL! Ridiculous to spend this amount of money on something and it can not even work for 6 months without issue.

When it was time to replace my washer, there was no doubt I was going to replace it with another Samsung, this time I tried the top load since I found a big one!! 5.5 cu ft!!! I am still learning to use Smart Things Connections since I am a Samsung Galaxy Phone user too. I liked how it takes care of itself, indicating when it is time for a self-cleaning or if everything is working properly, you can even update the software operation program with its WIFI connection when needed, also you can control it with your phone....nice!!!

We are a multigenerational household so we have tons of laundry! The Washer is a great size it can handle clothes, blankets, and comforters. We were so surprised how beautiful the unit is in person. The controls are easy to use, very intuitive. Our last unit was a front loader and we are definitely happy with the top loader instead. You can set it to any number of rinses and spin cycles or even no spin cycle. Definitely love the how the clothes are so much more dry coming out of the washer. Run your towels on the "white cycle" fluffy beautiful towels. Highly recommended washer.

I use quick wash mostly and just ramp up the soil level to get just a little more wash time as my clothes just need a light wash. My husband likes the normal cycle with extra rinse as he has stains from his work. I love the option for deep fill also. The configurations are endless and you are sure to find your favorite. The tub is very deep, I am 5'7 and I have to spin it around to get the clothes out. I'm sure I will have no problem fitting my king comforter in there. Loving my Samsung Washer!

I like the sleek design and the gold knob to change the settings. I think it is a very deep washer. While it does hold a lot of clothes and heavy blankets, I almost need a step stool to bend over the washer to reach things. I have considered buying a "grabber" just for this reason. I like that is is compatible with the Smart Things app, and I can make pre-set settings for my loads of laundry. The settings are highly customizable and I love the little song it chimes when my laundry is ready.

In order to get the large capacity, this washer is super tall, probably too tall for a normal female 2. It had trouble washing a large blanket, it went into the forever Uneven Load cycle and wasted many gallons of water. 3. I don't like the Start and Pause button. In order to start it, you have to hold down the button. Fine, but sometimes i don't know if it is on delay or if it is waiting to start. It should have had a different color to indicate if it is ready to go.

I love that it is so big I can wash all my bedding with room to spare. I love all the options it comes with for wash cycles. The shift close lid is nice so I don't hear it hey banged down with closure. I'm not sure about the self clean cycle as it was not in the manual but, having a Labrador, I figure I'll need it at some point. I really can't say enough good things about this. My husband did the install and he said it was very straight forward and easy. BTW I love the matching dryer too

So far, I don't find it washes as well as my old top loader without an agitator. I am disappointed in the inverter model. It doesn't agitate the clothes enough and there isn't enough water to even cover the load. The super cycle isn't any quicker. You can't keep lid open while water is filling to test water temp. The button to add water is only cold as far as I can tell. Its so tall you need to be over 6ft to reach the bottom. Take my advice and pick a different model. I wish I had.

I've been switching most of my appliances over to smart connected ones that can be monitored and easily controlled via an app on your phone. The active waterjet and wider basket makes more more volume to be done in one load for a larger capacity and cleaner load. They cycle was done in under 30 mins and the app reminders allowed me to do other things and maximize my time while it was being done and in turn alerting me once completed. Two thumbs up and a must have also due to the fact that it is sleek and fits well with my other furniture and appliances in the household.

They are both beautiful and look wonderful in my laundry room. And even though they look good, they perform much better than my old Samsung washer that lasted only three years. My only complaint is that I did not notice that the washer has an extra large capacity tub so for someone who is 5'2", I need to use "tongs" to retrieve the clothes from inside the tub. It really is extra deep. But quilts and rugs will work wonderfully in this new washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i've done several loads of laundry and the large capacity is really awesome. i've been able to wash large comforters with ease. on the cycles i have used once the load goes into spin mode the clothes come out very dry. it really helps cut down on the drying time in the dryer as well. i've only had one issue with the washer and that's the fact that i can't reach the clothes at the very bottom. i'm 5'4"and the bottom of the washer is completely out of reach for me. i have utilized a grabber to help me get the last of the items out of the unit to put in the dryer.

I believe over 15 years and now it just for the last three months it was off balance and I had to wash the clothes. It wouldn't spin dry the clothes so I had to squeeze it out and put it in the dryer and I couldn't squeeze out too much but now I have this Samsung washer and it's just lovely to me. It's bigger than the other one. The inside is really big and it's very sensitive to touch and I also like the braille for the blind. It's really cool. Hardly make any noise and also when you press that button and give you that option to rinse out whatever you need And I got a grandbaby so that comes in very handy. Love the product.

They replaced a Kenmore front load set that was 15 years old. This washer is quiet, does a good job of getting the clothes clean, and we like the large capacity so we can easily do our bedding and bulky items. When the wash is complete, the spin cycle has done a good job of expelling the water to make drying the load more efficient. As a bonus, the wi-fi connectivity is nice to have as well. It reminds me when the laundry is done.

I have tried the normal, deep wash, bedding/waterproof and quick wash cycles. The one I use the most is the quick wash cycle that washes a load in only 28 minutes. I also love the faucet inside the washer that allows you to pretreat clothes before washing. The vibration reduction technology makes it very quiet which is good since my laundry is right next to my living room. This washer also has the smart feature which allows you to send your preferred cycle from your phone. It also allows you to see how much time is left on the current cycle from your phone. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a new washer.

There are only safety manuals in various languages provided with the product. The delivery guys didn’t have a pen, so when I went up to get one and came back, the practice run was in operation and I have no clue how he started it or how it works! Where does the detergent go (the old one the soap went on the bottom before the clothes)? Bleach? We waited so long for this machine as it was delayed a week in its delivery process and now it sits!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mom of 4 boys who like to play in mud. I find the deep wash cycle is my favorite and it gets out caked on mud without a problem. Love all the options and the notification on my phone when the load is done so that I forget to switch to dryer less often. It plays a nice little tune when cycle is done. It is quite but we tried to turn it off for doing laundry late at night and couldn't get it to work. We've run over 50 loads so far and it has only gotten out of balance twice and was easily fixed and restarted. The spin gets it good a dry for shorter hang dry time for t-shirts. My only other complaint is I am 5'4" and I needed to get a stool to be able to get the socks off of the bottom of the washer cause my arms couldn't reach but I still love it.

Plus the washer interior is very large with stainless steel and no agitator, which you can wash very large loads and large items very easily. Of course the washer has smart compatibility, and you can change settings on your phone and upload custom wash cycles. One feature I noticed right away is the Vibration Reduction Technology. The washer is able to sense and balance the load, including heavy loads, which makes the spin cycle much quieter and with less movement. I don't have to worry about putting rugs and comforters in the washing machine. Also, the bedding preset is very useful. It dries bedding more thoroughly, and I don't have to dry sheets and comforters over and over again.

The programmed time for washing seems too long compared to the previous brand of washer we were using before. We are used to quick wash of 15mins. The Quick wash on the Samsung brand is 30mins min. This results in excess water usage and electricity. I also suggest that there is a way to defog the glass cover when washing with warm water because the glass cover was foggy during the wash and you can not see through the cover. This defeats the purpose of the cover glass.

very happy with this washer. the drum is huge! i can fit all my queen size bedding in one load; sheets blankets and spread! i really like the delay start feature. i like being able to put a load in at night and have it run in the morning finishing when i get up so the clothes aren't sitting wet in the washer all night. at first i laughed about linking a washer to the internet but i really like receiving a notice on my phone when a load is done. ran our first clean washer cycle today. very glad it has this feature. the only negative is that the drum is so big i can't reach the bottom. i'm 5'2" and when there are small items in the load i have to put my head and upper body into the drum and my feet come completely off the floor so i can reach them.

This Samsung washer has several settings for temperature of the water and I love that. I love that there are a lot of rinse choices and spin choices versus others that only have a few options. Another benefit of this washer is that it has a setting for waterproof bedding. I really love that there is a self cleaning setting and it reminds you when you need to do a self-clean. It even has a special setting for whites vs. darks. There are so many settings and choices. The most important thing to me is that it doesn't have the tube in the middle of the washer. I can fit a lot more things in it this way and it is sooooo much quieter.

I bought this washer to replaced my LG washer. I was so exited about the large capacity but soon this change. It does not take enough water you have to fill have otherwise washer comes dirty, does not dry properly, came up wet, I have to do another dry only which it is extra 15 minutes or so and still came too wet. waste of time money. I am very disappointed. If I could I will ask for my money back. Unfortunately I could not afford to buy insurance. I am going to keep until I could save enough money to buy another one.

We've had this washer for 2.5 years. Mid-cycle, I get a 9CB error code and it just stops working. We get a quote for the repair and it's half the price of new washer. So instead of dumping more money into this piece, we switched brands and will just avoid samsung appliances moving forward. It's a shame because when it worked, it was a nice washer. However, when your motherboard can only last 2.5 years (for a two-person household), it's appears to be more of a quality issue happening here.

When the wash is finish I get a notification on my tv's and phone letting me know. It's deep so washing a kind comforter is no issue and room to spare. I love the active jet feature that lets me spot scrub stains. This Smart Samsung washer conserves water by measuring the amount of laundry in the drum. It then determines how much water to add to the drum. No more overfilling the washer and washing water. I also like the capacity size. I used to have to make trips to the laundromat to wash comforters and bulky blankets. This washer easily holds my large comforters and blankets, saving me time and money. The only downside for me is that this washer is deep. I am short so it is hard for me to reach the bottom of the washer to get the clothes out. I am happy with the Samsung Smart washer. We have found that even washing a normal load of towels on normal mode, the water doesn’t reach the top of the load. I always have to add water in and even with comforters using the bedding options is barely enough and does not clean enough. Now, I only do one load a day or maybe every two days. I can finally wash my king size comforter at home. It does an excellent job washing, even the sweat filled clothes come out clean in one wash. No clothes or sheets come out twisted up. Spin cycle is fast and not too loud. I love this washer. My one complaint is the end of cycle tune it plays is really loud.

It runs quiet and the loads are done under an hour. I am a big fan of the delay start feature, I can put a load in it at night and have it run in the morning or vice versa . On another note this machine is energy efficient and water saving. We are trying to use less and less water and this washer will be a huge help! And The amount of clothes it hold is amazing! We are noting doing multiple load everyday anymore. Compared to other washers this one looks professional and fancy. The other thing you notice is all the various buttons and customizable options. The washer looks very techy, which can be scary for some, but very easy to use. If you are looking to upgrade your washer I would definitely recommend this one!

You have to fold blankets a certain way according to the directions, but still can’t manage it. Don’t let the large bin fool you. It can’t handle it. The bin is very deep if your short it is hard to get clothes. The bin makes a rubbing grinding sound, but others had same issue and it is just the way it is made. The machine is also loud. Run don’t buy!

It's my first HE machine though and the water levels of some washes have me skeptical, but apparently I just have to trust it's working when it looks like there's not nearly enough water. My clothes feel clean 4 stars because when I first got it the washer did not drain all the way on the first 2 washes, I reset it and it hasn't happened since.

It is a nice upgrade from the plain basic washer I previously had. This is a very roomy washer that can easily fit a comforter. It is also high tech with WiFi built in. So far it has cleaned all my clothes very well and has many different settings if I wanted to wash different types of clothes. This washer has it all.

i just bought this washer less than 2 months ago and it stopped working. it has been more than 10 days and neither my warranty company nor samsung has come to fix it. even if it’s fixed, what’s the guarantee that it won’t brake again? how can a new machine stop working in few weeks. it looks like the unit was refurbished. be careful before buying samsung products! do your research thoroughly before buying! don’t get trapped in deals!

"The tub's too small for our family of four." "I can't do our bedsheets and comforters without this thing complaining." "The load takes so long." You get the point. So we sprung for a new washer considering we were coming up on ten years. We've had it for a full week and my wife loves it. She's already used the built-in waterjet to treat a stain one of our kids made during dinner and raved about it for the rest of dinner. I'm particularly a fan of the activewear cycle considering I'm at the gym daily and our old washer was pilling my shirts. The speed wash is my favorite since I'm usually throwing in a load the same day I want to wear something. All-in-all, my wife is a big fan and she claims she's doing twice as much laundry in half the time. That's a big win.

The Active WaterJet, saves me the "presoak" time for all of my dirty workout clothes and with a toddler and not much laundry time, the Super Speed Wash is a huge time-saver ! The extra large capacity helps reduce the amount of times that we wash clothes per week, which is a huge win in my book. The SmartThings app is super helpful! Let's be honest, we all forget if we did a load of laundry and wash it twice. purchased this 4 months ago and it already broke down. very disappointing for a brand new washing machine that is used once every 2 days. haven’t even tried out any heavy loads yet. spoke with support team and they will not have anyone out until 2 weeks after my request was made. don’t have time to sit at a laundromat so instead will pay a lot of money and drop it off for laundry service.

would have been nice to get to use the washer before it broke but i received a bad apple. no sooner than the installers left, there was water all over the floor. checked all the connections to find that the machine is leaking from the bottom. now i have to wait for who knows how long to get a replacement...would have been nice to be able to use it before it broke!

I find it really irritating that when i go to the laundry room to put my clothes in the dryer i find that the washing cycle hasn’t completed, yet stopped, with water left in the washer. Clothes are soaked. I run it through a spin only and it continuously adds water. Doesn’t let you just spin the clothes. So i have to put soaking wet clothes in my dryer.

this washer is very nice large for a large familey. very quiet running and with the rubber feet it does not walk. a large amount of choices to wash different clothes. only issue is the soap/softner drawer is in the back they should move to the front. if they dont move it they should put a arm on the lid to close the drawer when the lid is closed.

After setting it up and washing my first load I will say I was impressed. I love that it has a stainless steel drum for the washer that way you know that nothing will damage the inside of the washer. Love the fact that I can washer bigger loads since it has enough space to do so. The downside is that I literally have to get a small ladder to be able to reach the clothes at the bottom of the washer since it’s so steep and I’m also very short so that doesn’t help. I wish it had a setting for jeans like my previous washer and that the noise that it makes when a load is finished weren’t so loud. So far I’ve been impressed with this washer and love washing clothes. I hope it lasts me as long as my previous washer did which I had for 12 years. I haven’t used the app to be able to start a load on my app since I do tend to get weary of knowing if it will work correctly.

The units are too sensitive I feel like. Load sizes is a huge problem. The units shut off and you can’t open the door without emergency draining the water through a little valve if load is not correct. Which is impossible to actually determine until the unit starts and is soaking wet. It stops randomly at rinse and never stops spinning

100% of the top load active water jet washers go bad in 2 to 3 years. They all start going unbalanced, lighting up Ur, then filling up with water again, going unbalanced again. New springs/rods occasionally fix them, running the calibration cycle even less so, but drilling holes in the bottom of the balance ring almost always works.

I love the color, all the different cycles. So clean and mess free. Only thing to note if you are not tall, please get a step stool to get the little things out of the bottom of the top loader. Otherwise I am a happy camper.

And it's high efficiency too. I also like that it has a self clean mode . The only problem is that it takes a few tries to start it sometimes other than that it is a good washer so far.

The worst washing machine I have ever used. It gets off balanced with sheets or towels and blankets and can’t get everything clean and spun so it’s too wet to put into the dryer. Have had it serviced and tried to exchange or return. I will never buy a Samsung product after this experience unfortunately. So bummed!

My husband was a bit worried about it not having a standard agitator but it works great cleaning the clothing. The washer is a bit tall so a shorter person might have a problem reaching the bottom. I like all the options on the machine from the timer to the water temp. I am also able to wash alot of clothes in 1 load with this washer. Not a huge fan of the song that plays when my laundry is finished.

I got the ivory with the bronze accents. It has a wifi feature which seems great but I haven’t figured out yet. Lots of features. Love the extra rinse options and the quick wash options.

I actually think it gets clothes cleaner than washers with an agitator because of the way it moves the clothes around inside the washer while also not being hard on them. can an "agitator" be installed on this type of washing machine, because i didn't have the option to choose?! i bought it but i don't like how it washes clothes, i think the "agitator" has its role in washing clothes! do not buy a washing machine without an agitator, to me the clothes look unwashed!!

Wow. The capacity of this washer is huge! As with any high efficiency washer, you can't just load it to the top. However, being able to load something large without worry, like a bedspread, is great. In general, the large capacity is wonderful and saves so much time with a family because we do much fewer loads. It seems to clean clothes just fine. We've been using this unit for a couple of weeks now and have not had any issues. It has many settings and is easy to set up for multiple rinses. It's also quieter than our old machine. I wasn't sure about the SMART features (connected to wifi and phone app), but holy cow is it nice getting an alert then it's done. You can also check on remaining time or or status. Other family members have the app too so whoever is doing laundry can stay updated which is great when multiple family members are wanting to do laundry on the same day. As others have noted, it's a reach to the bottom of the tub so really short folks might have difficulty reaching the bottom.
