DO NOT BUY!!!! Ownd for roughly a month and a half, already had the transmission replaced and my cloths do NOT come out clean. They are covered in lint and grime. Worst washing machine I have ever owned. I have pics and videos of the its performance and the carnage it has done to my family's clothing (tore the neck out of my sons soccer jersey).

DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!!! Your clothes will come out of the wash covered and lint and debris. The washer cannot be used by someone that likes to hang clothes to dry. It is unbelievable poor quality. However, bad you imagine after reading this review it is worse. And Samsung could not care less. Their Tech came out to review and told us these washer can't be used if you want to hang dry clothes. All clothes must go in the dryer. Samsung has been no help. Almost every appliance and TV we own is Samsung, we have never had a problem. This washer will be our last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this washer! The extra filters really cut down on the pet hair. I've read reviews that said the clothes don't get clean. Mine do, you also can't fill it to the top with clothes either, I fill mine about half way with clothes and it's works fine. I did have a little trouble with a heavy king size bedspread so I'll probably take it to a cleaners in the future. But everything else it works fine. You have to use the app to access a Permanent Press cycle which is a minor oversight in my opinion, but at least it is available. It is easy to use and customize cycles to you liking, even have up to 5 extra rinse cycles. This machine is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic Washer! So many options and it's beautiful to look at too. On the cycles, we tend to use Colors, Whites and Pet the most. We tend to wash mostly in cold water and the fill is faster than our old machine which saves on cycle time. Speaking of cycles, quite efficient. There is little movement with the washer even with a heavy load and the overall sound is quiet enough not to notice. Our clothing comes out clean and while we haven't had to use the self-clean program yet, it seems pretty straight forward and easy. Overall we are very happy with this washer and look forward to years of this great washing experience. Thanks Samsung...another winner!

Maybe the cycle didn't start? No! Just working so effectively. Rinse and spin out moisture was minimal. Love the capacity. Extra large on sale for almost same as large. Comforters fit nicely. The sleek color is extra special. My laundry closet is black, and the navy blends right in. Actually creates a bluish hue. So glad I choose something out of the ordinary. Price made it possible to buy both washer, and dryer. Love Samsung anyway. My fridge, microwave, old, and new washer, 3 TV's and my cell phone all bare that name. 😏

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I like the most is thst it actually adds enough water to wash the clothes, and selecting deep wash actually gives enough water to submerge the clothes. I upgraded from a washer that must’ve been purchased at the height of the washing clothes with no water fad, so this is a great improvement. Haven’t seen a huge difference in removing pet hair but what the washer doesn’t get, the dryer will. Also I really love the interior water spout for rinsing. My only dislike is the music that it plays when the cycle is complete is very annoying. For such an annoying tune, it’s incredibly long and offers no alternatives.

I bought this washed a few months ago to replace my front load washer that was harder to maintain. This top load is just as efficient in cleaning without the mildew smell front load washers leave. I bought this particular model because of the large 6.2 cubic feet capacity. It's a great washing machine with the ability to remote start your loads using your phone and to schedule your washing loads. It can store and dispense upto 12 loads as well. There's also an added benefit if you have pets, as this has a pet filter and a pet wash cycle. All in all a great washing machine and hope it lasts many years.

I like that you get a notification on your phone when the cycle is complete and if you have a Samsung smart TV it even notifies you on your TV as well. I can really tell the difference of the quality of wash compared to my old washer and it rings out the clothes as well. The integrated water faucet is a great feature. If you need to pre-wash clothes before starting the cycle through the smart homes app you’re able to, make a laundry recipe by indicating what items you will be washing and it gives you a recommended cycle. The only thing I wish is that the washer would’ve Included a manual, I can’t even seem to find it online.

The washer is extremely large where I have to stand on my tippy toes to get all of clothing out and it does hold quite a few items. It’s quiet and easy to use. I do need to learn about all of the settings but so far so good. I love the Wi-Fi capabilities and how we can set the setting we want from my phone and how it notifies me when my load is complete. The only thing I haven’t looked into and dislike is how long the song is once complete. I am sure we can change that somehow.

There are so many dryer settings but my favorite is the steam sanitize setting! Talk about a dream during the days of COVID! There is a n awesome light inside to help you find that last darn sock that always ends up in the far back of the dryer! This dryer is efficient in drying clothes quickly and is big enough to hold pet beds! Woot Woot! The only thing I do not like is the top of the dryer is slanted, making it impossible to hold anything needed for the dryer.

Some good advice here. Do not get this washing machine! I have never had a brand new appliance give me so much trouble and frustration in this short amount of time. I have this washer for 5 years and it has been constantly unbalanced for the last 2. The suspension rods have been changed already once and they need to be replaced again. This washer is not meant to last. After just a couple of years experience parts need to be replaced to last a few months and start all over again, or get a new washer all together, very environmentally friendly, right? So FRUSTRATED with this machine!!

There's two of these units.If you turn it on pet cycle, it spins it up so the water and soap of the cycles goes through these filters, collecting the fur. You can open these later. Scrape the insides and throw away big wads of hair great if you have pets. The capacity with the pet filter definitely allows for large blankets to be put in there. The design without the large agitator in the center provides even more space. I take towels and rags from the garage toss them in and they come out clean with just everyday soap

The washer line leaks and they said they can’t do anything about it. One day after our 2 week window…. Absolutely ridiculous consumer service. No help whatsoever. So I have to turn the hot water on and off and even if I wash the clothes in cold water it throws a code and I have to deal with that for about 30 minutes and try again. Also the dryer will be on regular dry mode and I’ll every time have to go back and turn The machine on time dry so it will actually finish drying because it thinks they are dry on regular mode. Then my clothes are sitting there damp and disgusting. Worst machines I’ve ever used. Also. Can’t save the settings so I change the hot water (I don’t like using hot water) every time I use it.

Sometimes it’s washing with such a minimal amount of water that I don’t think my laundry is getting clean and I can’t reach the bottom of the drum. I had to buy a grabber to be able to reach my socks and underwear and things at the bottom. I think they could’ve done a better job with this new technology and smart washer. I literally have to use one setting the deep clean to make sure that enough water gets in the machine to wash my laundry and I hate that for such an expensive washing machine.

I've had the washer and dryer for over 6 months now so I've given them a fair shot but I hate them, especially the dryer. All but two of the cycles on the dryer are utterly and completely useless because they leave your clothes wet no matter what you do. The sensor thinks clothes are dry when they aren't so even if you restart one of the cycles they'll turn off a minute later because it keeps thinking the clothes are dry for some reason. The only way to use the dryer is to use the time dry setting and manually set it every time. The washer is mostly okay but it has its quirks like if you accidentally turn it off it goes through some shutdown process and you have to wait like 10 minutes to be able to turn it back on and wash your clothes.

I definitely recommend max spin when possible for removing as much water as possible. The hair collectors are actually pretty cool and I find it useful if not just for hair but also lint. It’s almost like a pre dryer lint removal collector. The smart features are very handy and convenient if only to let you know when the cycle is complete (but there’s more to it than just that). I’m very happy with the purchase so far.

To my surprise everything came out perfectly; my last washer I had to use 1.5 times the amount of detergent or a significant amount of stain pre-treatment to get the same results. The built in jet is awesome and is very helpful for dealing with stubborn stained clothing. I haven't used the Smartthings function yet, but if it's like my other Samsung products I'm sure it works just fine.

Don’t buy this washer!!! I have lost all respect for Samsung. Samsung you all know you should be doing a recall on these washer.The spin cycle doesn’t work because it’s always off balance due to all the clothes ending up on one side because there is no agitator in the middle to keep the clothes evenly distributed. Therefore, the washing cycle never finishes and the clothes are soaked and wet. SAMSUNG STOP APOLOGIZING AND RECALL THESE WASHERS!!! In other words give us our money back. This is so frustrating!!! Amazing pet hair feature. We literally bought a new washer and drying just to help deal with our huskeys hair. We figured even the price of a new W+D would be made up in lint roller savings in about two years, lol. We'll, the verdicts in and this set is amazing if you have pets that shed. The pet load takes about twice as long as a quick load but it removes about 85-95% of the hair. Most of the hair is just on particularly "sticky" fabrics. The hair catching bars in the washer are always full after a load and the drying catches the rest. Even his ped comes out hair free and that's grand zero. Look no further if you have pets. Only regret is not seeing We had a gas hookup before buying the electric washer. Natural gas is better for the environment and decreases your dry time and utility bill.

We have experienced no major issues, and used most of the wash cycles provided. We've used tear away washer detergent sheets, pods and liquid detergents. We have several dogs, and were attracted to this model based on the petcare systems included. We have been underwhelmed by the performance of that system, in comparison to the extended wash time it requires (nearly 2 hours in both washer and dryer). We have only noticed a small difference on blankets or clothes between that cycle and the quick cycle wash (40-50 minutes). The water usage seems and energy usage seems to be efficient, we've noticed a decent drop in our monthly bills since install. The design is sleek and so far has been resistant to any stains or dents. Installation was easy.

We have now done many loads in this washer and I am AMAZED. The capacity is fantastic (huge space) and I like the deep fill and presoak feature to really get clothes soaked and fully washed. We found it with the Samsung Pet care appliances. We used to have so much trouble with how much pet hair was staying in our clothes after washing and drying them. With these appliances, we do not have that problem anymore. They work great. They do not make any noise. You do not even hear them when they are on. I love that I can control them from my Samsung phone. These appliances are XL, which is great for our big family. Both washer and dryer have some great features. There's so much that you can do with these appliances, that you probably do not have to take your clothes to the cleaners anymore. I've always had Samsung appliances and I love them. We are so in love with our new appliances. The navy blue color is beautiful. Thank you, Samsung.

This washing machine is the worst ever! If it is the least bit off balance it will continue to fill up full of water. It doesn't get it right you have to open the lid and adjust the items inside. This happens all the time and it's extremely frustrating. Don't even think of washing a towel with a couple pairs of pants it will knock off the weight and balance. I will never buy a Samsung washing machine again done.

I've never been so dissapointed in a washer! 1st thing I've bought brand new and there is nothing good about it. You can hardly put anything in it and it gets off balance! It has stained my clothes and i cleaned the inside over and over. With no agitator it balls all the clothes up to make it a full time job unknotting everything. So far I haven't found anything good about it! Would love to give it back!

So this is what clean clothes smell like! Switching back to top load after a with front loads that left me deeply unsatisfied. I bought this a month ago and have been thrilled. After reading so many bad reviews on washers out there, I was resolved to 3 criteria- cleans clothes, top load, and doesn’t leak. Lol. But really. I love the filters, deep fill, pet clean. I can fit a couch cushion in there! This is nice because with an older dog, it’s sometimes needed. It is deep. At 5’, I keep a stool by the machine 😁 but I still love it. The special features are still a mystery but so far I haven’t needed them. I will say a week after I got the machine that I fostered some puppies who ended up being sick. I had to put some gross things in my beautiful new washer. It handled everything I threw in it, with lots and lots of bleach! Still smells new. Love this washer. Highly recommend

I purchased this washer after having my previous Samsung washer for over 10 years with zero issues, so I expected similar reliability. Unfortunately, this has been a huge disappointment—I would give it negative stars if I could. One of the main reasons I chose this model was its large capacity, specifically to wash blankets and comforters. However, it cannot handle them at all. The load becomes unbalanced, and the machine repeatedly fills with water and attempts to spin without success until I manually stop it and redistribute everything. To make matters worse, the lid frequently locks and won’t open, forcing me to reset the washer. Even the self-clean cycle has failed—it throws a 4C error code, fills with water, stops mid-cycle, and locks the door again. I’ve only owned this washer for a little over a year, and I’m already ready to replace it. I would not recommend this product—save your time and money.

Purchase washer dryer set Jan 2025. My clothes are never completely dry regardless of the setting I try. Plus I wonder who designed the lint filter as lint easily gets behind and under the filter, which in my opinion could be a fire hazard. Every couple of weeks I use my hand vac to clear out lint. I would recommend this dryer. So far no problems with the washer.

The product was great for about 2 years,. Then it just stopped in mid spin cycle. Wouldn’t drain. Had to call a repair man, I used my house warranty program for my utilities that I pay monthly. As this was out of warranty. Got it repaired. Now it’s been about 3 years, and I ever noticed that it towels were starting to get holes and tears in them didn’t think anything of it. Two days ago, I washed delicate, with 3 garments. I took them out, and started to hang them, noticed that I had two tears on my dress that weren’t there before We checked all the towels, a lot have holes, and tears, we’ve summed it up to the washer. Even though it has no agitator, when it drains the water, it appears to be sucking in clothes, and tearing, shedding abs making holes in our clothing and towels. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m not sure what to do. ? If I can do anything? The washer was not inexpensive and I cannot another. . Maybe be got a lemon?

Do not buy this washing machine unless you want it to last for only 4 yrs. It has been made with inferior parts that cannot possibly balance a load of laundry. Not only that , your electric and water bill will skyrocket because it keeps adding water to spin again and again to try to balance the load . My last wash took 4 1/2 hrs .

Changed from front load to top load and much happier. Only complaint is having to reach into the washer to get clothes out but that is the downfall of a top load. As the drum is so deep, my wife who's 5'5" does have a little trouble reaching the bottom of the drum. The pet cycle seems to do a great job of removing dog hair from the bedding and clothes.

I bought this product about 10 days ago, clothes are basically wet coming out the washer and the dryer is not HOT enough to dry the clothes, had run 3 cycles for nyvtowels to get dry. The two start is inly for presentation as they looks beautiful! Will call the store to find my return options

I purchased the washer and drier set in May. I quickly found I cannot wash anything on any setting other than “Deep wash”. If I chose any other setting whatever I am washing does not even get fully wet. Whatever water sensor does not put enough water in the tub to soak the load.

I had the previous design with the built in sink for 10+ years and I loved That washer. Looks at a ton of other designs but always come back to the Samsungs so when my dryer finally went out I bought this pet care navy set. It’s a huge improvement on my old set while also keeping all the things I loved before (the water sink dispenser for stain treatment, the settings, the large stainless drum, etc) I love the new settings and smart features. I need to really see how petcare does but I don’t have a hair issue in our home. I have down comforters and this thing works like dream. Love the soft close door that doesn’t feel flimsy or breakable like other brands. I wish they kept the stainless bottom piece it’s plastic now but doesn’t seem to affect anything. I like the sturdiness of the detergent dispensers. Overall I am Very happy with the improvements on the previous design. It is deep and at 5’ 6” It can be a struggle to reach the bottom but I can manage. I wouldn’t change it since I can fit a king down comforter in it.

I’ve had my Samsung washer for about 6 months it’s absolutely the worse purchase I’ve ever made. The unbalanced feature makes it difficult to wash bedding and when I do set it to the bedding mode my sheet come out SOAKED! Absolutely awful! Stick to TVs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the new Samsung washer and dryer set for a few weeks and I can confidently say, this is by far, the best washer and dryer we have ever owned. We still have a lot to learn since they are capable of so much more than one could ever dream of. The washer comes with 12 pre-set wash cycles and the ability to connect to the Smart Things app allowing additional wash cycles to be sent directly to the machine. The first thing I noticed and absolutely fell in love with, was that I could wash one load in the new washer, which would have taken me three loads in our old washer. The second feature I love is the active water jet feature available to pre-treat laundry. This new washer has a soft closing lid so it doesn't slam and has a self-cleaning mode, too. We have two dogs and I can’t say that this is the first time a washer has been able to fully remove all dog hair from all laundry being washed and dried. I love the Pet Care Wash Cycle that creates dynamic water currents that loosen pet hair and traps it in dual pet hair filters.

Want to love it but struggling with the fabric softener bin. I use Lysol laundry sanitizer for rinse cycle and it calls for two capfuls. The fabric softener bin only holds one capful and anything more pours out the bottom immediately.

A awesome washer i have alway used LG products but I found this washer to be just as great if not better. Problem is I haven't had this washer but 3byears and I bought it ne and the water is leaking out on spin cycle. Any suggestions?
