Galaxy Z Flip7 FE: Features and specs

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is your entry point into the foldable family, combining the stylish flip phone design of the Galaxy Z Flip7 with impressive specs, Galaxy AI¹, and Google Gemini².

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE has the same camera setup as the Galaxy Z Flip7, with a 50 MP wide, 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP selfie camera , so you can snap incredible photos to your heart’s content.

The FE model has a slightly smaller main screen (6.7 inches) and cover screen (3.4 inches) compared to the Galaxy Z Flip7, but there’s still plenty of space for gaming marathons and using your favourite Galaxy AI¹ features. Samsung folding phones: Durability

The new phones in the Galaxy Z series range are more durable than ever before despite their slimmer dimensions than previous models.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is built with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2¹ and has an Advanced Armour Aluminium² frame to protect it from the odd bump, scrape and scratch. It also has an IP48³ rating for water and dust resistance, meaning it’s certified to be submerged in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. So you don’t need to panic if you leave your phone in your pocket when you jump into a river or a lake, plus you can take cool underwater photos.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 also benefits from IP48³ protection, while its Armor Flex Hinge has been strengthened with Advanced Armour Aluminium, meaning it’s built to withstand daily wear and tear.

Samsung folding phones: Size

The Galaxy Z Fold7 measures: 143.2 x 158.4 x 4.2mm when unfolded, and 72.8 x 158.4 x 8.9mm when folded. It weighs in at 215g, 24g less than its predecessor. The Galaxy Z Fold6 is 1.4mm thicker when unfolded and 3.2mm thicker when folded.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5mm when unfolded, and 85.5 x 75.2 x 13.7mm when folded, weighing 188g. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is 0.4mm thicker when unfolded, and 1.2mm thicker when folded.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE has similar dimensions to the Galaxy Z Flip7 but is slightly less slim. It measures 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9mm when unfolded, and 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9mm when folded.
