I bought this phone a couple of weeks ago and compared to the last phone I purchased, i am highly pleased in the performance of this phone. Its bright display, long battery life as well as a clear camera focus. Lastly, this phone works perfectly in places where the connectivity isn’t as strong, all in all i am very satisfied in this phone.

After having owned 3 Z Flips, I was dubious about buying a 'normal' straight, no flip mobile, and after reviewing the fleet of Samsung, I chose the A56, particularly for the camera, because it was not an extortionate price, and the functions on the A56 were what I was looking for, quality at a fair price, and indeed it has not disappointed, and the camera is fantastic. If you want a mid top range mobile, without emptying your wallet, this is the phone to buy, thoroughly impressed.

I am very disappointed with my new phone! I have had more than a dozen Samsung phones and always found them easy to use and very good at performing the tasks required. I use my phone whilst out walking in the countryside listening to birdsong (using the Merlin bird app) my previous phone (A545g) was excellent for this task, however my new phone doesn't recognize anything. I have removed and reinstalled the app numerous times, I can only assume that the microphone is substandard compared to my previous phone, I now have to take my old phone with me because my new phone is not good enough. I think this could be my last Samsung phone, I don't know anyone else who has this problem every other phone on the market works perfectly with this app.

I was very reluctant to get a new phone, but when my banking app told me that my phone needed updating due to operating system (Android 9) I done my research and opted for a brand new Samsung A56 5g. It took my a while to get used to it. The multiple cameras are excellent, battery life is also great, high quality display and super fast performance compared to my older J4+, great connectivity seamless between 5 and 4g. The only disadvantage is it not having a micro sd port for additional memory. Another great product by Samsung. And as a bonus of making my purchase, I had a free Samsung Galaxy watch 7. I love Samsung

Overall I am happy with my new A56 mobile, but it doesn't feel any better than my old Galaxy A52s 5g mobile. Good Points - 1. The screen is a good size and is very clear. 2. There is loads of onboard storage. 3. It's pretty fast. 4. Battery life is excellent. Bad Points - 1. The camera spec has dropped from 64mp to 50mp which is a bit disappointing. 2. It doesn't seem to connect to WiFi as good as my old mobile especially at home. There is an app called Merlin which I use to identify bird from their songs but it doesn't work on this mobile which is a disappointment.

Still, we also appreciate that, when compared to your previous Galaxy A52s, you have noticed the camera specifications are different, and that the phone doesn't have a strong connection to your Wi-Fi. Additionally, it is our understanding that a third-party application is not working on it. Upgraded from A54. Loving it so far, my only issues are using the camera app. So many settings! I currently can't get them to show in Messenger and I really need this. Why don't pics open there. Some suggestions its camera settings but I can't see what's different. Battery lasts all day usually, can't fault it otherwise.

The worst phone I have had in ages. I am thinking of getting my old phone back. This Samsung A56 5G has so many issues, I don't know where to begin. Problems with the charging port from day one. Problems with the home key from day one. The screen protector doesn't fit properly, even though it was ordered specifically from ID Mobile as part of the contract and because of this, it has created pressure points, which further mess up the phone when those points are pressed. The battery takes forever to charge (even though it shows fast charging on the display). I bought a new charger plug and cable and it is still the same.

Bought the A56 5g to upgrade from an A53 5g and am generally happy with the phone so far. Not many differences which is fine by me. However am very annoyed by the Messages app change! There is no way of assigning a separate notification to the Messages app which is very annoying! I can either have a small ping, which is good for other notifications like emails, or a loud one which I like for Messages but can't stand that going off every time I get an email!! I now keep missing messages because I can't hear it when the phone is in my handbag. Surely this is a total oversight on Samsung's part as it is a big step back and needs rectifying!!!!! Am very disappointed 😞

Currently less than impressed with my new phone. Only a month old and it has switched off several times, generally when trying to use apps. Then it decided to freeze for over half an hour meaning I needed to use someone else's phone to see how I could correct it as it wouldn't let me do anything other than use the side buttons, causing me to miss calls and messages that were urgent!! Trying to contact the company I bought it through as its not good enough considering the cost of the phone. The times it does work I'm enjoying it but the problems outweigh the good times.

Having owned an A52, A54 and A55 I am really pleased with the A56. It seems much faster and my battery seems to last longer even though I have read that there is not much difference between the A55 and the A56 I would have to disagree, the battery life is much better and the bigger screen is much better. I I had any complaints about the A series is answering it when a phone call comes through, it is not easy to swipe to answer and on numerous occasions the person who has phoned me has hung up. I really wish Samsung would make it easier. Otherwise I am really pleased with it. Pictures are really good as well

I finally upgraded my Samsung A51 after 4 years or so and bought this, luckily I got 20 percent off but even 500 is good price for what you get. It looks premium with gorilla glass a large bright screen I took it off vivid display prefer natural. Great camera many features I wouldn't use, love the chrome and back of the phone but id get a cover. Read reviews and they are in agreement with me downside if into games it's underpowered for me it does all I need and more. Another downside is can't add extra storage, I never filled old one I think that was 128gb this is double. Overall I'm happy with it.

I've upgraded from Samsung A 53 to A56. Phone is great, fast, camera is really good and network signal is so much better than in my old A53. Battery last a day but I tend to use my phone a lot. I am so glad I made a switch, I was also eligible for a reward package that included super fast charger, Samsung fit3 and a phone case which was very nice surprise and reward for a loyal Samsung user!

Not a lot to love, phone keeps freezing while I am on Instagram, X, tik tok, also volume goes down on its own, my phone provider won't change it for another phone, but will repair it in 5 to 7 days, no loan phone, so I'm supposed to be without a phone for that length of time, not happy is an understatement.

Battery lifle, display and camera is good, but the performance of Samsung A56 is not great as expected, it automatically stops YouTube videos and doesn’t play the videos until I had to close app and restart it. It happened multiple times with other apps as well that is keeps logging me off from apps, I had to give to to my nephew and I am back to my old phone.

Disappointed with Samsung A56 5G. I’ve been using the Samsung A56 5G for about a month and already had to force restart it once. There’s no option for 512GB storage, and to my surprise, it doesn’t support expandable memory cards – something that always made Samsung stand out from competitors. I also claimed the free Samsung promotional pack after buying from Amazon UK but never received it. Overall, a disappointing experience.

I am disappointed with the A56, I am used to S series phones but due to cost issues I've tried this. I find it has slow processing speed in comparison with the S series and opening links seems to take significantly longer. I am still waiting for the promised free phone case and watch which is part of the purchase deal. This phone is extremely slippery to hold and as the camera lenses protrude from the back it is difficult to put down on a flat surface without it slowly slipping off. Sorry Samsung, I'm not impressed

I have always had Samsung phones (20 years). I recently upgraded to my current one. Almost immediately l began having problems making and receiving calls. When i select a contact and press the call button a calling icon appears but no ring tone is heard. This goes on for several seconds before the call cuts off. Accepting in coming calls, i press answer but the ringtone continues before finally connecting or cutting out. My provider, O2 have been very helpful and replaced the phone like for like. Unfortunately this replacement is doing the same. I am returning to the store today for further assistance. I have lived at my current address nearly 50 years have had the same service provider from day one and have owned about 5 Samsung phones over this period. (18 years).

I am generally quite pleased with my Galaxy A56 5G(SM-A566BZKCEUB), it is easy to use and response is fast. The photo and video quality is good. I have been very disappointed with the fingerprint reader, the problem is that I can setup my fingerprint and within about 2 days the phone no longer recognises my fingerprint. I have followed all instructions that I can find to rectify the issue - update phone, remove and re-create fingerprint (3 times) etc. I have now abandoned using the fingerprint reader altogether

I bought this yo replace an old one. The battery is much better as expected. I am disappointed with the camera as it fails to replicate true colours which is important when selling clothes. Connectivity is OK but not great. I was unable to transfer any of my old photos using the switching app again a disappointment. Overall it is no better than my old A41.

The Galaxy A56 was faulty -- something wrong with the screen. I had paid for a higher amount of data, but I got half of that. I am returning the device to you. However, you are charging around £75 for returning a faulty and the wrong device. This is outrageous. I consider my Samsung experience on of the worst I have had in a long time.

I bought my Samsung A56 5G as an update to my previous phone a Samsung A52 5G that had come to an end of security updates. I have found I can get 2 days of use from the battery which I think is good as I only charge it to 80%. The camera and features are better than my old model. The display is just a little bigger and moving around apps is easier. The performance is also quicker thanks to the faster chipset and more ram.

I've desired getting a new phone for quite sometime, but have been discouraged by the high costs of some top-end models in the market. However, I did my digging and compared specs and functionalities, and was really amazed at the capacity of this powerful device: Samsung Galaxy A56. Although it doesn't break the bank, it offers almost the same level of efficiency and quality as its higher valued counterparts. I'm glad I settled for this device, and 100% recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade to pocket-friendly version of high-end smart phone.

Don't love the phone. Don't like the camera sticking out at the back, I didnt the phone before I got, asked advice for a replacment A53 as the speaker function had stopped working and was out of contract, having no SD feature. Connects ok. I used Shazam on my old A53 it doesn't work on this, uninstalled it, which disappointed in. The battery is reasonable however it heats up randomly quite a lot, sometimes only after 15 mins, same with my previous phone, however same issue with this so I'm taking it back to the EE shop when I get the chance.

I am so disappointed that there are way too many ads appearing on my A56, in spite of closing all the personalised ads there are far too many to enjoy my phone, I find this totally intrusive of my life & a total waste of my time/money having to pay for each app removal of ads. Keep seeing the ADS repeatedly. I just want a phone that works how I wish it to, but not have the ADS.

Sadly my A56 is slower than I thought it should be despite paying for the fastest and unlimited speeds and data there is available. Additional problems with certain apps which gave caused issues with printers and obe from a major battery company solar panel monitoring system is amazingly incompatible with this phone! Good sound and I do like the speakers when I kink it to Spotify. I have taken some excellent videos when i have been beekeeping. Overall a good phone with several years of guaranteed updates. That's why I chose it.

Last update knocked out many notification sounds (email, texts) Settings are OK. Battery power saving OFF. Tried reboots but no change. All I got from Samsung is go customer service. This is a long unproductive circuitous route which never seems to ask the right questions. I have nice new phone that has been ruined by the last update. I am very frustrated

Overall well satisfied, connectivity not as good aa i'd hoped, but generally ok..wifi phone calls drop out regularly, battery life ok, but it would be nice to see a battery that lasts a few days. Had to reboot a couple of times as google search bar failed to respond. But overall I am pleased with performance

Works fine - happy with performance. The actual phone is hard to hold as the edges are square making it bulkier. Worst of all the phone is super slippy, hard to grip and slides off any surface which is not dead level. Putting a cover on the phone to stop this happening makes it even bulkier.

Faulty connectivity at recharging the battery with a cable which I also bought at the Samsung Experience. Everything else is what I would expect of a new phone but this, of course, means that it is not usable and at 11%, it will soon die and I'll have no mobile phone as of today 29th July.

Several Apps that use the microphone, Merlin Bird App for example, do not work. Samsung have added some element of speech processing to the A56 which stops these Apps working. Which is very annoying. Apart from that the A56 is like any other quality Smart Phone. No other problems

I’m really impressed from my new Samsung Galaxy A56 5G. The screen is bright and looks amazing for watching videos or just scrolling through social media, feels nice to hold, and doesn’t feel cheap at all. Battery life is solid, I am charging it once in two-tree days. The cameras are surprisingly good too, photos come out clear and sharp, and even in low light, they look decent. Great phone for the price. If you’re looking for something reliable with good performance and 5G, definitely worth checking out!

First noticed that an unknown SIM card number was already in place, despite all efforts it was not possible to get the correct SIM recognised. Phone worked apart from the fact that people could not hear me whilst I was receiving very patchy reception from them. Once again, research on line and trying all suggested options could not resolve issue. Reset to factory settings but problems still there. Final straw when my wife phoned me and could not get through. Her phone was trying to phone the ghost 😭 number which my phone still had on the settings. Gave up, bought an Apple 16e, which is fantastic, and gave this phone to my daughter in law as she is a lot more tech savvy than I am. Very disappointed, looked like a good phone but obviously a problem either with the phone or it was a returned item.

Great battery, issues with an update locking the phone, camera is okay, display is fine. One major issue does not work with an app called Merlin, which identifies bird songs. Overall not bad bad phone

I don't love this device. I had to reset it due to Password issues and now I can't log back into it as the Google account is stuck in a loop, even using a separate recovery device just brings me back to the set up page after using 2fa. There is no way to get to the settings unless you're signed into Google so this phone is now just a brick that I will have to take back to work to get recovered.

Got this phone to replace an 8 year old S9. Has taken me a while to get used to all the new features, being a more mature user (old over retirement age). I still am discovering things that have changed.The connectivity, battery life and display are far better. I do not game or do social media, the performance is good for me. I didnt want something to complicated, this phone is perfect. Don't know how to use all the features so cannot give 5 stars, the features I use are good.

Bought the phone bout 3 weeks ago to replace my older samsung - It was easy to set up and runs faster which i am pleased with - Mainly use as a phone - texts - and buying online - Also has a larger screen that I like and plenty of storage for me - I find it just the job and would certainly recommend this phone for people who want a phone for basic needs like me and also will need to buy a phone case for protection for a few quid Regards - Martin - Midlands. -

Battery not as good as i expect from a Samsung . Started well getting 1 day 7 hours on one charge now down to 14 hours.
