What can I do with the Air Command feature?

Air Command is the Note's feature that lets you get the most out of the S Pen. It allows you to access certain features and apps quickly and easily.

You have three different ways to launch the Air Command feature.

 

  • If it has been previously set up, by taking the S Pen out of your smartphone the Air Command menu will open automatically.
  • Bring the S Pen close to the screen and press the S Pen button.
  • Tap the “Air Command” icon with your S Pen.

If the Air Command icon does not appear on the screen, follow these steps to ensure that it always appears on your screen.

Open Settings.

Tap S Pen.

Under Air Command, slide the switch to activate the Floating icon. This way the Air Command icon will appear on the screen whenever you detach the S Pen from the device.

To remove the Air Command icon, follow the same steps and slide the Floating icon back to switch off. Otherwise press the “Air Command” icon from the home screen and drag it into the trash that icon that will appear. The Air Command icon will disappear from the screen.

Please note: You can place the Air Command icon at different points on the edges of the screen. To do this, hold down the icon and drag it wherever you want to place it.

When you launch Air Command, the floating menu will appear on your screen with different shortcut options and apps features around it. Customise these shortcuts to access your favourite features and apps instantly.

 

You can edit the shortcuts for the Air Command menu by selecting Add shortcuts, the “Settings” icon or via the Settings menu.

3 Choose the features, apps or functions you wish to appear in the Air Command menu by tapping on them. These will be added to the sidebar automatically. On the sidebar you can remove any unused shortcuts by clicking on the “minus” (-) symbol.
