I had been toying with the idea of purchasing this watch for quite a while before I finally gave in and purchased it. I absolutely love this watch! The features are more advanced than another top brand that I had previous, and there's no subscription fees which is a bonus. I love that I can see entire messages, including pictures on it, and reply via it, I can answer calls on it, go on the Internet and soooo much more! And for the complete bonus, it doesn't burn my wrist like my previous watch did! The only downside that I have come across so far has that the strap has turned blue on the edges, not a huge deal but considering I haven't even had it a month yet, I wouldn't have expected that to have happened yet.

The watch strap is such a shame - I have had the watch all of one week and the strap is already worn and discoloured... I have done perhaps 6 hours of exercise in that time and worn it for sleep tracking. How can you market a watch the be good for sleep tracking and fitness, but sell it with a band that discolours after 1 week? Very disappointing. The watch itself is great to use - nothing special. Coming from the Watch 4, there is not exceptionally noticeable upgrade but it is smooth to use and the screen is clear. Nice a light also. Has a couple of laggy moments hopefully updates will iron this out. Battery life isnt great but its liveable.

I was pleasantly surprised by the elegant and minimalist design – it looks luxurious, yet the watch is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The strap is soft and stays firmly in place, even during workouts. Display is bright, crisp, and incredibly smooth – even outdoors in direct sunlight. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate between features and customize settings to fit my needs. Battery life exceeded my expectations – with daily use (notifications, Always On Display, sleep tracking), it lasts about 2 days, which I find perfectly acceptable. The only downside is the slightly longer charging time. I mostly use heart rate monitoring, AGE index, stress tracking, workouts, and sleep tracking. The in-depth analysis of sleep quality, stages, and personalized recommendations are standout features for me. While I love the overall design and functionality of the Galaxy Watch8, I was disappointed to find that it doesn't work with the original Samsung Dual Wireless Charger due to the strap’s position. It only charges properly if you remove the strap, which is frustrating and unexpected for two official Samsung products.

It has a beautiful design and is comfortable to wear, but the battery only lasts about 12 hours. I've disabled app notifications and GPS, but I can't get any better performance. I use the device to sleep and measure my blood oxygen. I usually sleep for 9 hours and charge the device before bed. When I wake up, I have to charge it again. Frustrating.

Very easy to set up. Once set up it drains the battery quickly im having to charge it every night. And im not doing anything on watch. I hardly n touch it during the day. I dont play music on it or answer calls ornreply to texts. Therefore its not built tonlast using the purposes its meant for. Also rhe sound quality is poor and is on full and not loud, also display is so small i cant read whats on screens anyway and theyre enlarged. Myn previous watch is a huawai gtpro 2 i wanted to upgrade it but only needed to charge it once week. So genuinely very disappointing

I got an upgrade on my galaxy watch4 to the galaxy watch8, I always go with Samsung because they're reliable. My watch 4 was spotty with picking things up due to my tattoos but the sensor is better on the 8 so I can wear it next to my colour tattoo. Its more comfortable and has far more features. It, detects falls and I have it set to allert my emergency contact should I have a drop seizure which is a great feature. It tracks my sleeping habits and helps me adjust, having ADHD this is helpful. Above all its an intuitive bit of kit and was a great price in the sale.

Brought this watch about a month ago and I'm really happy with it, it has lots of really good features. I was looking to track my steps and sleep but it does loads of different things and it connects to my flip 5 with no problems, I think that it's a really good watch, the only niggle is that it does need changing at the end of every day but it does usually still have about 30% battery left for me when I change it a little while before bed and it doesn't take to long. My previous watch was a fitbit versa 3 and the Samsung watch is definitely a step up from that but the Samsung did take me a little longer to figure out but now that I have I think it's great.

I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro and the Watch8 is very similar, although the body is much sleeker on the 8. I haven't yet tried all the advanced features but I'm very happy with it so far as it gives me everything I need from a smart watch and more! The only downside is the battery life as it only lasts around 24 hours even with my limited use and probably even less if I was using more of the features. It's not a dealbreaker but it is a bit of a nuisance as I can't charge it up overnight because I need to wear it to monitor my sleep. All in all though it's a fantastic watch with great features.

I bought this to monitor my health and it has been life changing. I am more active, can have a real sense of the quality of my sleep and love that i cam have a timer and a wallet on my wrist. Batery last roughly 24 hours, but that was expected as I watched a few reviews before buying it. I also got the promotional dual charger and camel wrist band offered by Samsung. Very happy with purchase.

Crazy marketing strategy. I ordered a Watch 8 online from Samsung two days ago, having missed out on the 10% discount for not ordering at the same time as pre-ordering the S26 Ultra. The watch arrived this lunchtime. I now notice that the watch price has been reduced by £50 this morning. Customer support can't apply the discount after an order has been place or partially refund any of the order charge. However, they are happy to arrange the return of the watch within the 14 day cooling off period, so that I can re-order the watch again at the discounted price. How crazy and inefficient is that?

Galaxy Watch8 Watch is excelent quality, as you would expect from Samsung. Ease of buying (on Samsung site), very easy. Discription of item on the site is, again, excelent, apart from one very important thing.... No where that I could see does it mention the fact that the wireless charger cable only conects through usb-c, which means I now have to buy a new charger that will accept usb-c cables! Either that or charge using my phone! Very poor description/comunication on the site. Delivery, perfect. You have the option of selecting a date for delivery, the delivery company keep you up to date via email, couldn't ask for better service. I would give 5 stars apart from the problem with the charging cable

My watch 8 was a Christmas present. Straight away, it was easy to set up from my Samsung account. I am still getting used to the additional features in Samsung Health, an he watch is getting used to my lifestyle. I'm sure it will settle down when it gets more data, rather than using Christmas Day as a baseline! I am looking forward to seeing the statistics generated from it after a month of normal activity. The watch itself is very comfortable on my wrist. I can't feel it there. I will change the strap to a more appropriate colour in the near future, as white isn't the best colour for me. Otherwise the battery lasts as expected, and the display is easy to see. The only niggle I have is with Samsung wallet on the phone. I add my bank cards so I can use my watch to pay, however every morning they have gone from my wallet and I have to add them again. This is frustrating so I have only given this watch 4 stars for this reason. I understand that this is not an isolated problem. I have fed back to Samsung and I hope that a patch to cure this problem is issued in the very near future.

I was eager to update my (very) old Samsung Watch for the new Galaxy Watch8 40mm, but hesitant about the new design. However, I took the plunge and when I received the watch I really liked the new design and all of the features that it comes with. However, the big disappointment is the battery life. The watch is currently at 68% and showing 10h 43m left which would equate to 15.8h at 100% and that is with AOD turned off and brightness set at about 50%. The even bigger dissapointment is that, when I wear the watch at night to moniter sleep it uses up so much the battery that I end up having to charge almost twice a day (last night the battery went from 60% to 5% during 7.5 hours). What is the point of having all of these great features when they drain the battery so quickly? Unless, there is something that I can do to get better battery life, I feel that this watch will have to be returned, which will be a shame.

Received my Galaxy Watch 8 (40 mm) yesterday. Was super easy to set-up! I was intrigued by the face redesign as some reviewers were not a fan. However, I actually quite like the 'squircle' shape and feel it's more sleek with no gaps in the strap. It sits more comfortably on the wrist that it's predecessors... I have tested the treadmill function and feel it's more accurate than my Galaxy Watch 7. I am pleased with the upgrade and look forward to testing more of the health apps available on this newer series.

I brought this a few weeks ago to upgrade from my watch 5 pro, compared to my old watch this one is better fitting. It lays flat against my wrist to get more accurate readings. The design has improved ive noticed the face doesn't get caught on the cuff of my sleeve. Its easy to connect to your phone, while keeping all the data from your old watch. The health tracking seems to be accurate. So far ive dropped it once from a low height and it didn't break or scratch, its been submerged in the bath, no problems.

I've had this watch since Christmas 2025 and im very impressed. The battery life is alright, i get roughly 25 hours (for sleep then the rest of the day). The connectivity to your phone is really quick and syncs without any errors. The display is bright and powerful, I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND HAVING THE SCREEN ON FULL BRIGHTNESS! The screen is that bright that on full brightness it could probably be seen from mars 😂. The interface is easy to use and the sensors are accurate. Definitely reccomend!

I bought this watch a month ago and have been really pleased with it. I was weighing up whether to buy the Ultra or not and im glad i didnt as I dont think it would have been necessary. The Watch 8 looks classy and is easy to navigate around, especially as it pairs to my Samsung Smartphone and can be managed off that too via the SmartThings app. Battery life lasts around 24 hours and I use it frequently to track sports and fitness. I chose the smaller watch face and its plenty big enough

I bought this a few weeks ago for myself to upgrade. It was very easy to order and collect from he store. The watch is really good quality, it has nice features for example blood pressure and oxygen level monitoring. You can personalise the screen, which is easy to do. Its quick and easy to set up. Going through different applications is smooth and seamless. Its light, not big and bulky and looks nice on. I really like it and would definitely recommend it.

Does exactly what it says it will. It should be noted that the watch has a maximum life of a charge of 40 hours not days, but it is amazingly quick to charge. Nice choice of watch faces and plenty of options to choose from. A large number of things it will perform on request with a little set up. You do really need to download the instructions from Samsung for maximum information as quick start guide is very limited.

only had this a couple days but its doing exactly what I need it to for the health tracking. the battery life is good enough considering the functions it performs! I would 100% suggest having a look at the online forums for tips on the background programs you can disable to extend the battery and improve performance. sits really comfortably on my wrist as its not to big unlike some smartwatches.

I bought this a month ago and really please with it. It's lightweight and has a nice slim face - not like the other smartwatches i have bought in the past. The only downside is the battery only lasts for about 2 days before it needs charged. Saying that, it only takes just over an hour to charge it back up again. Really please with this watch and would recommend

I like the watch, the strap isn't the biggest, the battery needs charging daily but if you out it in battery saver it lasts much longer. You need a couple of different apps to use all functions such as ecg and then sleep etc which is a bit of a pain, unless I've missed something. Its good that it has water resistance, I went swimming with it on and it was fine.

My old faithful 4 finally gave up, so I looked around but still gravitated to Samsung. Really please I did. Familiar features, but so many new and useful upgrades. Does all it says. Heart rate and blood pressure accuracy seems to be spot on, SpO2 (blood oxygen) shows a little lower than real, but still okay. Step counting is reasonably accurate too. Lots of customisation options. It looks like good quality. Battery lasts for over a day.

I am afraid I can't because I don't know how it works. There was no demo and in the shop and the instruction booklet gives detailed instructions on fitting the strap (which should be attached before sale and virtually nothing about how to operate it. Very disappointing!

bought for Christmas very good price and the watch is better than expected. Battery life is good turning always on off saves a lot of power but if your happy to charge it every other day it doesn't really matter and the charging is about 60 mins so not long really.

Had this watch nearly 6 months, not impressed. The battery life is very poor. It has lots of features, but if you use them, the battery is flat very quickly. If I just use it as a watch with battery saver on, it will last 2 days until it needs charging.
