Battery drain can be caused by high screen brightness, unused trackers, background apps continuously running, apps running on old software, continuous GPS use, and an Always On Display. You can update your Watch8 either directly from the smartwatch or through your connected mobile device using the Galaxy Wearable app. To update on your connected device, go to the Galaxy Wearable app > Watch settings > Watch software update > Tap Download and install. To update on the watch itself, go to Settings > Software update > Tap Download and install. The battery life of your smartwatch will vary depending on usage, and we have lots of tips for you to extend it.
